Una cosa interesante me pasó ayer. Cuando yo estaba furioso, y andaba con paso pesado alejado de el teclado, reviviendo los recuerdos hermosos con Swami, tuve un suave toque.
Se produjo en forma de un mensaje de Mr.Happy. Él escribió con toda sinceridad y amor -
"Gracias por escribir esto. Fue muy interesante y sin duda se puede apreciar su devoción por el Hombre de naranja. ... "
Me sentí muy conmovido con su interés. Y dejé de escribir, haciendo una pausa para pensar. "Sigo escribiendo sobre el objeto de mi amor, adoración y culto. Lo traigo completamente en mis conversaciones con mis lectores. Pero cometo el error de no hacer una introducir sobre Él ! .
Muchos no requieren de una introducción y todavía muchos no la necesitan. Tengo que escribir acerca de quién es Mr. Swami (Sathya Sai Baba).
"Y por lo tanto, es realmente tan fácil de decir quién es Él - Dios. Y sin embargo, tan difícil, porque el término "Dios" tiene diferentes significados para diferentes personas.
Antes de comenzar, permítanme decir a los lectores que, debido a una gran cantidad de información, que puede ser proporcionada, voy creando enlaces donde sea necesario.

Ahora, vamos a comenzar. Sathya Sai Baba nació como Sathyanarayana Raju el octavo hijo de una familia pobre, en el pueblo de Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India, el 23 de noviembre de 1926. (Él dejo su cuerpo mortal el 24 de abril, 2011.) Su vida temprana estuvo lleno de milagros y un montón de experiencias.

En los 86 años en la tierra, lo que ha conseguido es monumental por decir lo menos. Y cuando me pongo a escribir sobre él, soy testigo de dos voces dentro de mí . Ambas quieren ser escuchadas. Y les daré una oportunidad.
La primera voz es la de la cabeza y la segunda es la del corazón.
A la cabeza ahora. Swami cree en la unidad de todas las religiones. Él dice que Él ha venido no para iniciar una nueva religión, sino para hacer de un hindú, un mejor hindú, de un musulmán, un mejor musulmán, de un cristiano, un mejor cristiano, y así sucesivamente .
Él dice que sólo hay una casta, la casta de la humanidad, una sola religión, la religión del amor, un solo idioma, el lenguaje del corazón, y solo un Dios, ya que Dios responde a cualquier nombre en que lo llame o la forma que le atribuyan. Él dice que la suma de todas las Escrituras se encuentra en las frases, "Love All, Serve All"( ama a todos sirve a todos) y "Ayuda siempre, no hieran nunca". Y así, exhorta a todos a que servir al hombre, es servicio a Dios. De acuerdo con estas cosas, ha sido pionero en algunos proyectos de servicio impresionantes.
1) A partir un pequeño hospital general gratuito , Swami ha puesto en marcha dos hospitales generales y dos hospitales de especialidades estupendos que son absolutamente libres y gratuitos. Los hospitales de súper especialidades en Puttaparthi y Bangalore , brindan atención terciaria a todos y cada uno - absolutamente libre de costo!.
Y la respuesta, especialmente de los sectores más pobres, que ganan menos de un dólar al día, ha sido de gratitud inimaginable. Esto ha inspirado a las actividades de servicios médicos y de la salud, en más de 120 países del mundo, que son proporcionados a millones de personas alrededor del mundo. Algunos de los servicios más sorprendente se han llevado a cabo, en el pobre continente africano ! .
Ha traído la luz al continente oscuro! Pero como he dicho, esto es sólo una gota en el océano. El magnífico servicio ocurre en todos los países .

2) Swami siempre ha definido la educación, como algo que surge desde el interior, y que está latente en una persona. Él dice que la educación no es simplemente incorporar cosas externas en una persona! . Para lograr esto, Swami ha construido escuelas y una universidad. Y de nuevo, desde el preescolar hasta después de la graduación, la educación se ofrece totalmente libre de costo!. Alucinante ¿no?... Sin embargo, Swami dice, "Cuando se tiene la intención pura de hacer el bien, no habrá escasez de hombres, materiales, recursos, dinero y buenos deseos. Esto no es un milagro de Dios, es el milagro del amor. Después de todo, el amor es Dios y Dios es Amor! ".
Los diversos templos de la Educación que ha creado, ha inspirado a muchos otros a hacer lo mismo en su nombre y con sus principios. Una escuela secundaria básica y superior también han comenzado en Puttaparthi. Pero eso no es todo! . La filosofía ha inspirado a las escuelas e instituciones educativas de todo el mundo como en Fiyi y Canadá .
Hay muchos más y siento que una muestra debe ser suficiente.

3) La India es un país enorme, con muchos lugares que carecen de acceso al agua potable de buena calidad. Swami construyo proyectos masivos de agua , para proporcionar agua potable a más de 700 aldeas en el distrito de Anantapur en Andhra Pradesh, con un gasto de unos 300 millones de rupias rupias indias, a millones de personas en Medak y Mahboobnagar , millones de personas en el Este y Oeste del distrito de Godavari, y agua potable a toda la ciudad de Chennai en la India, por lo que todos los ciudadanos y los políticos, expresaron su gratitud a Swami.

4) El servicio a los pueblos para su autosuficiencia ha sido otro gran esfuerzo de Swami.
Al igual que en los otros proyectos, a partir de pequeños proyectos, ha logrado enormes resultados. Entre los cientos de historias exitosas, una muestra sería suficiente para entender esto.Sobre esto hay mucho que hablar desde la cabeza. Hablando de Sathya Sai Baba como un gran humanista es como decir que el Señor Krishna es un pastor, un pastor el Señor Jesús, el Buda un príncipe y al profeta Mahoma un comerciante! .
Por supuesto, que él es una persona humanitaria, pero es mucho más que eso. Él me ha enseñado la lección más grande de mi vida, el fin de la vida humana! .
Fui a Swami en busca de Dios. Y entonces le oí decir, " Sí, yo soy Dios y tú también. . La única diferencia entre tú y Yo, es que ustedes no son conscientes de este hecho " .
Lo vi hacer milagros, curar el cáncer, la tuberculosis y la ceguera con una simple mirada o una caricia; crear objetos de la nada y he escuchado acerca de cómo Él trajo a la vida a los muertos. Pero como ya he reflexionado sobre todo esto, le oí decir, que Su milagro más grande era el amor. Y él me dijo que realmente todo el mundo es nada más que amor. Cada vez que habla, se dirige a todos como "encarnaciones del Amor" !
Yo me quedé con él y lo veía todos los días. Por mas de una década y El atravezo mi corazón, y Él es mi mejor amigo, que ha derramado en mí el amor de una madre, padre y maestro, todo en uno. Él me enseñó que el individuo es parte de la sociedad. La sociedad es una parte de la naturaleza y la naturaleza es una parte de Dios!. Así que si uno dice amar a Dios, entonces uno debe amar a nuestros semejantes, servir a la sociedad y preservar la naturaleza. Leyendo lo que Swami ha dicho acerca de sí mismo nos dice mucho acerca de quién es.
Cada vez que me sentía solo y perdido, Él vino a mí, no sólo físicamente, sino incluso metafísicamente ! . He visto tantas coincidencias en mi vida y sé que una coincidencia es también un milagro, sólo que Dios eligió permanecer en el anonimato! Encontró con El ,el amor en mi vida y me ha hecho amar la vida al máximo. Él me enseñó que la alegría y la felicidad, es la naturaleza de cada alma, y que debemos estar siempre feliz. Él me hizo darme cuenta de que todo lo que me está pasando, es por mi bien, y por lo tanto, nunca hay la necesidad de estar triste. Él ha llenado mi vida con amor y me enseñó que todo lo que encontramos en la vida no es más que una reacción, reflejo y resonancia de mí.
Él me ha enseñado a amarme a mi mismo, y por lo tanto, a todo el mundo, junto con eso! Él es mi mundo, o mejor dicho mi Universo. Él encarna la fuerza más potente de la historia - la de amor - y por lo tanto Él es el más poderoso.
Si usted llama a Dios, sí, Él es mi Dios! . ¿Cada vez que escribo sobre lo que significa para mí, nunca quedare satisfecho de cómo pueden las miserables palabras, jamás sustituir a una experiencia?. Pero, sin embargo, como el muñeco de sal que quería medir las profundidades del océano, trato de describirlo , al igual que el muñeco de sal, yo también me disuelvo en él. Millones son los que lo han experimentado. Y unos pocos personajes de importancia le denominan de diversas formas . Eso debería ser una lectura inspiradora en sí mismo! .
Ahora, tengo una solicitud para el lector que ha llegado hasta aquí. ¿Quién es Sathya Sai Baba ?, es un tema sin fin. Sólo podemos escribir nuestras historias de amor y agregar a este crisol de culturas tremendamente interminables.

An interesting thing happened yesterday. As I was furiously plodding away at the keyboard, reliving my beautiful memories with Swami, I got a gentle tap. The tap came in as a message from Mr.Happy. He wrote in all sincerity and love - “Thank you for writing this. It was interesting and I can certainly appreciate your devotion for the Man in Orange. He does seem to command power.This was a great blog. I am not sure who Mr. Swami is - that is why I wanted to read part five because it had his photo and I keep seeing it around lately …”
I was very touched with his interest. And I stopped typing, pausing to think. “I keep writing about the object of my love, adoration and worship. I bring Him completely into my conversations with my readers. But I do the error of not introducing Him! Many do not require an introduction and still many do need one. I must write about who Mr.Swami ( Sathya Sai Baba) is.” And thus this venture. It is really so easy to say who He is - God. And yet so difficult, for the term “God” has different meanings for different people.
Before I begin, let me tell the readers that due to a wealth of information that can be provided, I stick to a skeleton framework providing links wherever necessary. You can, of your own volition choose to dive to the depths you want! Happy diving and splashing! Now, let me begin.
Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju as the eighth child in a poor family in the village of Puttaparthi, Andhra pradesh, India on the 23rd of November 1926. (He shed the mortal coil on the 24th of April, 2011.) His early life was one that was filled with miracles and experiences galore.

In the 86 years on earth, what He has achieved is monumental to say the least, Divine to say the Truth. And as I start to write about Him, I witness two voices within me. Both want to be heard. And I shall give them both an opportunity. The first voice is that of the head and the second is that of the heart.
Over to the head now.
Swami believes in the unity of all religions. He says that He has come not to start a new religion but to make a Hindu a better Hindu, a Muslim a better Muslim, a Christian a better Christian and so on. He says that there is only one caste, the caste of humanity; only one religion, the religion of Love; only one language, the language of the heart and only one God though God responds to whatever name you call or form you ascribe.
He says that the summation of all the scriptures is contained in the phrases, “Love All, Serve All” and “Help ever, Hurt never”. And so, He exhorts one and all to serve for service to man is service to God. In accordance with these, He has pioneered some breathtaking service projects.
1) Starting small with a free general hospital, Swami has started two general hospitals and two super speciality hospitals which are absolutely free. The super specialty hospitals in Puttaparthi and Bangalore provide tertiary care to one and all - absolutely free of cost! And the response, especially from the poorest sections that earn less than a dollar a day has been one of unimaginable gratitude.
This has inspired medical service activities in over 120 countries of the world and healthcare is being provided to millions around the world. Some of the most amazing service has been carried out in the poor African continent! It has brought light to the dark continent!
But as I said, this is only a drop in the ocean. There is magnificent service going on in all countries.

2) Swami has always defined education as something that brings out from within what is latent in a person. He says that education is not simply stuffing things external into a person! To achieve this, Swami has built schools and a university. And again, from the nursery to post graduation, the education is offered wholly free of cost! Mind boggling isn’t it? But Swami says, “When one has the pure intention to do good, there will be no shortage of men, materials, resources, money and good wishes. This is not miracle of God, but the miracle of Love. After all, Love is god and God is Love!”
The various temples of Education that He has started have inspired many others to do the same in His name and with His principles. A primary and higher secondary school also have begun at Puttaparthi. But that is not all!
The philosophy has inspired schools and educational institutions the world over like in Fiji
and Canada.

3) India is a huge country with many places lacking access to good drinking water. Swami built massive water projects to provide safe drinking water to over 700 villages in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, spending about 300 crores Indian rupees to millions of people in Medak & Mahboobnagar, to millions in the E and W Godavari districts.
and drinking water to the entire city of Chennai in India for which all the citizens and politicians came forward to express gratitude to Swami.

4) Service to the villages in making them self sustaining and happy has been another major effort from Swami. As in the other projects, starting small, He has achieved tremendous results. Among the hundreds of success stories, a samplewould suffice to understand this.
That is quite a lot of talk from the head. I request the head to stop here and allow the heart too a fair share of talk time. So dear heart, start speaking now...
Talking of Sathya Sai Baba as a great humanitarian is like calling Lord Krishna a cowherd, Lord Jesus a Shepherd, the Buddha a prince and Prophet Muhammad a trader! Of course, He is a humanitarian, but He is much more.
He has taught me the greatest lesson of my life - the purpose of human life! I went to Swami seeking God. And then I heard him say, “Yes, I am God and so are you. The only difference between you and I is that while I am aware of this fact, you are not. “
I saw Him perform miracles - heal cancer, tuberculosis and blindness with a mere glance or a touch; create objects from thin air and heard about how He brought the dead back to life. But as I pondered on all these, I heard Him say that His greatest miracle was Love and that if one imbibed pure selfless love, anyone can do these so called miracles. And he said that truly everyone is nothing but love. Whenever He speaks, He addresses all as the embodiments of Love!
I stayed with Him and saw Him daily. Its more than a decade now and I cross my heart and say that He is my best friend who has showered on me the love of a mother, father and teacher, all rolled into one. He taught me that the individual is a part of society. Society is a part of nature and nature is the part of God! So if one claims to love God then one must love one’s fellow beings, serve the society and preserve nature. Reading what Swami has said about Himself tells us a lot about who He is.
Whenever I felt alone and lost, He came to me, not only physically but even metaphysically too! I have seen so many coincidences in my life and I know that a coincidence is also a miracle; just that God chose to remain anonymous! He found for me the love of my life and He has made me love life to the fullest. He taught me that Joy and Bliss is the nature of every soul and so we must be happy always. He made me realize that whatever is happening to me is for my good alone and therefore there is never the need for me to be sad. He has filled my life with love and taught me that everything I encounter in life is nothing but a reaction, reflection and resound of me. He has taught me to love me and therefore the whole world along with that! He is my world, nay my Universe. He embodies the most powerful force ever - that of Love - and so He is the most powerful. If you call that God, yes, He is my God!
How much ever I write on what He means to me, I shall never be satisfied for how can paltry words ever substitute an experience? But yet, like the salt doll that went to measure the depths of the ocean, I try to describe who He is with the hope that like that salt doll, I too shall dissolve in Him.
Millions are the ones who have experienced Him. And a few eminent people described Him variously. That should be an inspiring read in itself!
