GOPURAM GATE OPENED FOR PUBLIC:

Any one who had been coming to Parthi in late 80s or so would remember walking freely into the ashram through the Gopuram gate. Later on, for some reason the gate was closed for Devotees and was only used by Swami when He preferred to go out in the car.
This Thursday, June 14th 2012, amidst veda chantings the Gopuram gate was opened for devotees to enter into the ashram. According to few locals, this was done after consulting few vastu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vastu
) experts who felt it would bring more charm and past glory to Puttaparthi by opening up the north facing Gopuram gate.
This move was welcomed by locals staying closer to the Gopuram gate, who had to take a long walk till Ganesh gate to enter the ashram. The owners of shops and restaurants near Gopuram gate were also happy about the opening of the gate. As of now the exit and entry points near Ganesh gate have not changed.

LA PUERTA GOPURAM ESTA ABIERTA AL PÚBLICO:



Todo el que vino a Parthi ha finales de los 80 seguramente recuerda entrar caminando libremente a el ashram a través de la puerta Gopuram.
Más adelante, por alguna razón, la puerta estuvo cerrada para los devotos y fue utilizada solamente por Swami cuando él salia en el coche.
Este Jueves, 14 de junio 2012, en medio de cánticos vedicos la puerta Gopuram se abrió para que los devotos entren a el ashram.
Según la gente, esto se hizo después de consultar a algunos Vastu ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vastu ) expertos, que creían que traería más encanto y gloria a Puttaparthi por la apertura de norte que por la puerta Gopuram.
Esta iniciativa fue bien acogida por los habitantes que viven más cerca de la puerta Gopuram, y que tenian que dar un largo rodeo para entrar por la puerta de Ganesh a el ashram. Los propietarios de tiendas y restaurantes cerca de la puerta Gopuram también estaban felices por la apertura de la puerta.
La puerta de Ganesh no han cambiado y sigue funcionando normalmente.
