Sai Ram - La gracia del rey y la Divina Gracia de Dios.
Érase una vez un rey con el nombre de Sundaravadanan que gobernó sobre el reino de Kannapuri. Fue grande en todos los aspectos, excepto que no creía en Dios. Una noche, en que viajaba a través de su ciudad, disfrazado. Oyó ha dos mendigos suplicando en voz alta. Uno de ellos invocaba la gracia del Señor Rama y el otro invocaba la gracia del Rey.
El rey estaba intrigado y por lo tanto llamo a los mendigos a la corte. Su ministro le pregunto, "Ayer, ambos fueron a mendigar. Uno de ustedes invocaba la gracia de Rama y otro la gracia del Rey. Ahora, ¿qué significa eso?"
El que invoca la gracia de Rama respondió: "Señor, todo este mundo está protegido por el Señor Rama. Él es el que da la riqueza para todos."
El ministro habló con el otro mendigo. Él respondió: "Señor, Dios es invisible, pero el Rey es el Dios visible. Si así lo desea, puede hacer rico a cualquiera".
Esa noche, el rey sostuvo con el ministro que la persona que llamo a el rey era el hombre más inteligente. El ministro, sin embargo, no estuvo de acuerdo. Él dijo: "Sin embargo, un hombre puede tratar de ayudar, pero si el receptor no tiene la gracia de Dios, que nunca le llegara." El rey decidió poner al "Rey de la gracia" y "Rama de gracia" , para la prueba.
Al día siguiente, la orden de un rey que se anunció. "En el día de Rama Navami el Rey va a distribuir regalos a todo el mundo. Todos pueden venir y recibir los regalos." En consecuencia la gente se reunió. Los dos mendigos también estuvieron presentes. El Rey hizo entrega de una nueva pieza de tela y una calabaza para todo el mundo. Cuando el turno de la "gracia del Rey" , el mendigo se acercó, el rey lo reconoció y le susurró algo al oído del ministro. El ministro entró y trajo una calabaza. La calabaza y la tela se les dio al mendigo.
Después de un tiempo, el rey y su ministro dan una vuelta por la ciudad disfrazados. Se dieron cuenta que el mendigo que invoco al la gracia del Rey, sigue pidiendo de la misma manera. El rey convocó el mendigo ante el tribunal al día siguiente y le preguntó: "¿Está usted siendo un mendigo, a pesar de mis regalos?"
El mendigo respondió: "Rey! Vendí la calabaza en el mercado por dos monedas de plata. ¿Cómo puedo llegar a ser rico con eso?" El rey respondió: "Tú eres un tonto. La calabaza contenía piedras preciosas y perlas. Si hubieras sólo cortado la calabaza, serias rico."
Después de un tiempo, cuando el rey estaba en su recorrido, se dio cuenta que un hombre rico paseaba en un palanquín. El ministro lo reconoció como el mendigo que invoco "la gracia de Rama". Este hombre también fue citado a la corte. El rey le preguntó: "¿No eres tú el mendigo que solía mendigar en las calles? ¿Cómo llegaste a ser tan rico?"
Este hombre respondió: "Rey! Por la gracia de Rama, tenia que alimentar a los brahmanes en un día determinado para traer la paz a mi padre muerto. Todo lo que podía comprar era una calabaza. Pero, para mi sorpresa, cuando corte la calabaza, me encontré con joyas! Por la gracia de Rama yo me hice rico. "
El rey entendió que la gracia de Dios es necesaria para prosperar en este mundo. El poder de la fe es increíble.
Swami dice, "El hombre de fe no tiene que preocuparse acerca de quién se hará cargo de él, si dedica todo su tiempo a los pensamientos de lo divino." Vamos a entregar cada momento a lo divino y vivir en la fe de su presencia constante y la confianza de su amoroso cuidado.

Sai Ram - The King's Grace and God's Divine Grace.
Once upon a time a King by the name of Sundaravadanan ruled over the kingdom of Kannapuri. He was great in all respects except that he never believed in God. One night, he was traveling through his city in disguise. He heard two beggars beseeching loudly. One was invoking Lord Rama's grace and the other was invoking the King's grace.
The King was intrigued and had both the beggars brought to the court. His minister asked the question, "Yesterday, you both were begging. One of you invoked Rama's grace and other the King's grace. Now what does that mean?"
The one who invoked Rama's grace replied, "Sir, this whole world is protected by the Lord Rama. He is the one who gives wealth and riches to everyone."
The minister now spoke to the other beggar. He replied, "Sir, God is invisible but the King is the visible God. If he so desires, he can make anyone rich."
That night, the King argued with the minister that the one who called on the King was the cleverer man. The minister, however, disagreed. He said, "However a man may try to help, if the receiver does not have God's grace it will never reach him." The King decided to put "King's grace" and "Rama's grace" to the test.
The next day a King's order was announced. "On Rama Navami Day the King will distribute presents to everyone. All can come and receive the presents." Accordingly people gathered. The two beggars were also present. The King gave out a new piece of cloth and a pumpkin to everyone. When the "King's grace" beggar's turn came up, the King recognized him and whispered something in the minister's ears. The minister went in and brought a pumpkin. The pumpkin and the cloth were given to the beggar.
After sometime, the King and his minister went around the city in disguise. They noticed the "Kings' grace" beggar still begging the same way. The King summoned the beggar to the court the next day and asked him, "Are you still a beggar despite my presents?"
The beggar replied, "King! I sold the pumpkin in the market for two silver coins. How can I become rich with that?" The King replied, "You are a fool. That pumpkin contained precious jewels and pearls. If you had only cut open the pumpkin you would have become rich."
After sometime when the King was on his rounds he noticed a rich man in a palanquin. The minister recognized him as "Rama's grace" beggar. This man was also summoned to court. The King asked, "Aren't you the beggar who used to beg in the streets? How did you become so rich?"
This man replied, "King! By the grace of Rama, I was to feed the Brahmins on a particular day to bring peace to my dead father. All I could purchase was a pumpkin. But, to my surprise, when I cut open the pumpkin, I found jewels! By the grace of Rama I became rich."
The King understood that one truly required God's grace to prosper in this world. The power of faith is amazing.
Swami says, "The man of faith need not worry about who will take care of him if he devotes all his time to thoughts of the divine." Let's surrender every moment to the divine and live in the faith of His constant presence and confidence of His loving care.
