Régimen Subsidiado tarifa eléctrica reintegrada:
El Gobierno había emitido una notificación de 21/01/2012, sobre que la tarifa concesional otorgada al Hospital de Super Especialidades en Prashantigram, se retiraría de inmediato y que en adelante y la tarifa normal, se aplicaría a el Instituto desde enero de 2009 .
Hemos escrito al Gobierno señalando que :
(A) Las circunstancias bajo las cuales se concedió la tarifa concesional.
(B) El ámbito de los servicios médicos ofrecidos por el hospital ha aumentado desde 1993.
(C) Este es el único hospital de super-especialidad, en el distrito de Anantapur, que da atención terciaria a los pobres y necesitados.
(D) En circunstancias similares, el gobierno de Karnataka ha otorgado un subsidio especial a Sri Sathya Sai Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas, Whitefield, Bangalore, y al Hospital General Sri Sathya Sai , Whitefield, Bangalore.
Tenemos el agrado de informar que sobre la base de esta presentación, el Gobierno de Andhra Pradesh ha emitido una orden Rt.No 0.42 , notificando que la medida mencionada anteriormente se mantendrá en suspenso.
Esto significaría que la tarifa de energía subsidiada disfrutada con anterioridad por el Hospital de Super Especialidades en Prashantigram continuaría.

Subsidised Power Tariff Scheme reinstated :
The Government had issued a notification on 21.01.2012 that the concessional tariff granted to the Super specialty Hospital at Prashantigram would be withdrawn forthwith and and directed that henceforth the normal tariff be applied to the Institute w.e.f January 2009
We wrote to the Government pointing out that
(a) The circumstances under which the concessional tariff was granted
remain the same.
(b) The scope of medical services offered by the hospital has increased since 1993.
(c)This is the only super-speciality hospital in Anantapur District that gives tertiary care to the poor and needy.
(d) In comparable circumstances, the Government of Karnataka has granted a special subsidy to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield, Bengaluru and Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
We are pleased to report that on the basis of this representation the Govt of Andhra Pradesh has issued an order vide G.O .Rt.No .42 that the notification referred above be kept in abeyance.
This would mean that the subsidised Power tariff enjoyed earlier by the Super specialty Hospital at Prashantigram would continue.
