Hoy se conmemora el 20 aniversario del Instituto Superior Sri Sathya Sai de Ciencias Médicas, Prashanti Gram, el modelo del Hospital de Super Especialidades, más presisamente conocido como "Templo de Sanación" que fue instituida por Bhagavan en este día en 1991.
Conmemorando la ocasión, SSSIHMS equipo emitio una presentación en video que muestra la génesis y el crecimiento de la institución, esta tarde en Prashanti Nilayam. La presentación fue titulada "Corazones para Orar y manos para Servir ".
La presentación se refirió a la época en que Bhagavan hizo el anuncio divino en la ocasión de su cumpleaños en el año de 1990, con la promesa de la inaugurar el un Hospital de Super Especialidades, completamente gratis , dentro de un año.
Llevando a la audiencia a una visita guiada, la presentación habló sobre el áspero camino que tuvo que pisar antes de realizar el sueño. Como se prometió el hospital fue inaugurado el 22 de noviembre de 1991, exactamente en un año. Lo imposible se hizo posible por medio de su Sankalpa Divino.
El sitio en el Gram Prashanti que era una tierra estéril, seis meses antes de la fecha prevista de apertura, volvió a convertirse en una maravilla de edificio magnífico, dando socorro a millones y millones sin ningún tipo de discriminación.
Testimonios de personalidades eminentes, entre ellos el profesor Keith Critchlow del Instituto de Arquitectura de Londres Príncipe de Gales, fue el arquitecto designado por el gigantesco proyecto.
El segundo programa de la noche fue un "Taala Vaadya Kacheri" por el conocido maestro de Mridangam Karaikkudi Mani and Co.
Gurú Karaikudi Mani es un renombrado maestro Mridangam, que ha revolucionado el campo de la percusión con su poder lleno de intrincados ritmos mridangam. Junto con los músicos de jazz de Europa y el Lejano Oriente, el maestro ha fundado una banda de música conocido como Shanmukhaa. S
hanmukhaa es una presentación musical de composiciones basadas en Carnatic, indostaní, clásica, y basada en melodías populares, composiciones con influencia de los occidentales, por lo tanto clasificados como música del mundo con el tema subyacente de la Paz Universal.

Con el ritmo y la melodía , una mezcla armoniosa, el tejido musical lleno de éxtasis el Sai Kulwant Hall , que disfruto a través de sus ojos y oídos, con el lenguaje corporal rítmico de los artistas encantadores, y todos se volvieron a las pantallas gigantes de LED Sai Kulwant , disfrutando la "fiesta doble".
En una presentación de una hora tocaron 6-7 composiciones, algunas de ellas compuestas originalmente con la música occidental. Con Mani en Mridangam y Suresh V en Ghatam involucrados en Jugalbandhi prolongadas, el público se volvió estático y cada composición fue recibida con aplausos de la audiencia. El concierto llegó a su fin con uno de los bhajans de Prashanti favorito, "Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram ..."
A lo largo de los años diversas formas musicales han visitado esta morada del Altísimo Señor en busca de la más alta bendición de cantar en la Presencia Divina del Avatar en su forma física, que es Naadaswarupa mismo ... Karaikkudi Mani se unió a la banda de estos músicos bendecido, hoy con su compañía trayendola a Prashanti Nilayam en vivo en un concierto musical apasionante.
El maestro estuvo acompañado por Mridangam V Suresh en Ghatam, VB Madusudan en Tabla, BV Balasai de flautas de bambú y Key, UP Raju en mandolina eléctrica y BV Raghavendra Rao en el violín eléctrico.
Al final del concierto de una hora el artista y acompañantes fueron felicitados.
Los Bhajans continuaron y prasadam fue distribuido a toda la asamblea. El Mangala Arathi se ofreció a las 19.30 hrs.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthi Gram, the role model Super Speciality Hospital, more aptly known as ‘Temple Of Healing’ that was instituted by Bhagawan on this day in 1991.
Commemorating the occasion, Team SSSIHMS presented a Video Presentation depicting the genesis and growth of the Institution, this evening in Prasanthi Nilayam. The presentation was entitled ‘Praying Hearts Serving Hands’.
Lamenting on the commercialization of Medicare, that had its origin as an art to transition into science, the presentation spoke about the epoch making Divine announcement during the Birthday occasion in the year, 1990, promising of the inauguration of a Super Speciality Hospital, completely free of cost, in one year time.
Taking the audience to a guided tour, the presentation spoke about the rough road it had to tread before realizing the dream. As promised the hospital was inaugurated on the 22nd November 1991, exactly in an year. The impossible was made possible by His Divine Sankalpa.
The site at Prasanthi Gram that was a barren land six months before the scheduled date of opening turned to become a marvel of magnificent edifice, giving succour to millions upon millions without any discrimination.
Testimonies from eminent personalities, including Professor Keith Critchlow from Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture in London, who was the designated architect for the mammoth project.
The presentation recommended de-commercialization of Medicare and act of healing that is the need of the hour to serve humanity.
The second programme for the evening was a ‘Taala Vaadya Kacheri’ by noted Mridangam maestro Karaikkudi Mani and Co. Guru Karaikudi Mani is a world renowned Mridangam maestro who has revolutionised the field of percussion with his power packed intricate mridangam beats. Coupled with Jazz musicians from Europe and the far east, the maestro has founded a world music band known as Shanmukhaa. Shanmukhaa is a musical presentation of compositions based on Carnatic, Hindustani, Classical based Folk melodies, Compositions with influence of the Western, thus classified as World Music with the underlying theme of Universal Peace.

With rhythm and melody joining together, bringing a harmonious blend, weaving music of ecstasy, the packed Sai Kulwant Hall enjoined a twin treat, through their ears and eyes, as rhythmic body language of the artistes were equally enchanting, and entire Sai Kulwant turned glued to the gigantic LED screens, enjoying ‘twin feast’.
An hour long presentation produced 6-7 compositions, some of them originally composed with western music. With Mani on Mridangam and V Suresh on Ghatam engaged in prolonged Jugalbandhi, audience turned ecstatic and every composition was received with rapturous applause from the audience. The concert came to an end with one of Prasanthi’s favourite bhajans, “Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram…”
Over the years various musical forms have visited and revisited this Abode Of The Highest Lord seeking the highest benediction of singing in the ultimate Divine Presence Of Avatar in physical form, Who is verily Naadaswarupa Himself…Karaikkudi Mani joined the band of these blessed musicians today with his troupe bringing Prasanthi Nilayam alive with a enthralling musical concert.
The Mridangam maestro was accompanied by V Suresh on Ghatam, VB Madusudan on Tabla, BV Balasai on Bamboo and Key Flutes, UP Raju on Electric Mandolin and BV Raghavendra Rao on Electrified Violin.
At the end of the one hour concert the artiste and accompanists were felicitated. Bhajans continued and prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly. Mangala Arathi was offered at 1930 hrs.
