Convocatoria 30 del Instituto Sri Sathya Sai, los enfoques de aprendizaje más alto de mañana, recordemos el maravilloso Discurso
Divino de Bhagavan durante la convocatoria del año pasado:
No quiero volver a lo que ya se ha dicho. ¿Qué hay detrás de todo este esplendor aquí? Es la cultura de Bharat innata que se refleja en esta celebración.
La gente va a los centros de peregrinación diferentes para ver a Dios. Están en búsqueda de Dios. Os digo, oh ingenuos, tú eres Dios, Dios está entre vosotros, por encima de usted, por debajo y al lado de usted. No lo consideren como algo separado de ustedes. El Ser mismo (Atma) es divino. Tengan este sentimiento arraigado en ustedes. Desde un pequeña niño a un adulto, desde el microcosmos al macrocosmos, Dios está presente en todo el mundo. Si usted tiene estos sentimientos, usted tendrá éxito en la vida. Por lo tanto, en repetidas ocasiones debemos pensar que Dios no está en otra parte, nosotros estamos en Dios.
Dios está en tu corazón. El corazón es el centro de Dios. Tú eres Dios. Usted y Dios son uno. Dios reside en el altar de tu corazón. No hay necesidad de renunciar al mundo. Permanezcan en la sociedad con la conciencia de que Dios está dentro de ustedes. Es por eso que se dice, Sahasra Seersha Purusha Sahasraksha Sahasra Pad (El Ser Cósmico tiene miles de cabezas, ojos y pies).
Después de haber sido secuestrada por Ravana, fue sólo el poder de su castidad que hizo a Sita reunirse con su marido el Señor Rama. La Madre Sita pasó 10 meses en Lanka. Todo el tiempo estaba pensando en Rama. No miró a la cara de nadie. Ella se expuso incluso a la prueba de fuego, pero salió ilesa. Bharat es la tierra que dio a luz a grandes mujeres como Damayanti quien redujo a un malvado cazador a cenizas por el poder de la castidad. Esta tierra también dio a luz a Savitri quien trajo a su esposo muerto de vuelta a la vida; Chandramati quien extinguió el incendio forestal con el poder de la verdad. Pueden mostrar un ejemplo, de una mujer que haya traído a su esposo muerto de vuelta a la vida? ¿Han visto a esas personas? Ella pertenece a esta tierra de Bharat.
Hoy en día no encontramos tales mujeres castas. Bhagavan se refiere a Draupadi que nunca dijo "no" a sus maridos. Siempre estaba dispuesto a servir. Ella estaba satisfecha totalmente. Si el esposo y la esposa viven en armonía, el país entero va a progresar. Debido a la falta de armonía entre el marido y la mujer, no hay paz en ninguna parte. Si hay un desajuste entre ellos, no habrá paz. Si una vida se vive en armonía, no habrá caos. Quiero que todos los dueños de casa vivan en armonía y paz. La armonía en el hogar es lo más importante. Todo lo demás seguirá. Si hay paz y armonía en el hogar, no habrá ansiedad. El camino que muestran estas mujeres ilustres, debería convertirse en la pauta de sus vidas.
Si ustedes se adhiere a la disciplina en la vida, van a vivir una vida larga y saludable. El corazón puro es el templo de Dios. Tenga cuidado de que los pensamientos negativos no entren en su corazón. La mente no debe ser pervertida. La unidad es posible sólo a través de la espiritualidad. Quiero que los estudiantes desarrollen el principio de unidad. No sean de mente estrecha. Los jóvenes deben desarrollar un buen carácter. El fin de la educación es el carácter. Con buen carácter, pueden lograr cualquier cosa. Si ustedes actúan de acuerdo a los dictados de la mente, ¿cómo se puede esperar realizar a Dios? En la meditación en el nombre, ustedes se sientan, mientras la mente esta el mercado.
Ustedes no deben permitir que la mente flaquee. Incluso si ustedes están enojados, no se peleen. Si se pelean con alguien, ustedes se está haciendo daño. Rectifiquen sus pensamientos. Eso es lo que los estudiantes deben hacer. Educare es esencial hoy en día. Junto con la educación formal, educare es necesario. No se desvíen de la trayectoria mostrada por Bhagavan. Sean humildes, no seas arrogante. Cuando Rama fue en busca de Sita, se encontraron algunas joyas. Rama pidió a Lakshmana que identificara las joyas en cuanto a si eran de Sita. Lakshmana fue uno de carácter inmaculado. Nunca había visto el rostro de Sita. Le había visto los anillos de los dedo del pie, al tocar sus pies. Uno debe vivir una vida ideal como Lakshmana. Pero hoy en día este tipo de carácter ejemplar, no se nota.
No hay unidad en el plano nacional. No hay unidad, sino que existe enemistad. Todo el mundo debe trabajar por la unidad de esta tierra. De hecho, en todos los ámbitos de la vida pública, la unidad es necesaria.
Si logran una altas notas, va a surgir los celos en algunos. Los celos son la causa de todas las controversias. Ustedes pueden decirle que ustedes son de un Ranker superior, pero es sólo un pedazo de papel. Su corazón, la integridad que le hace realmente grande, no tiene medallas.
Todos son hijos de Dios. Ustedes deben mezclarse con los otros como hermanos. Este es el mensaje de Bhagavan en esta ocasión de la convocatoria.

Bhagawan's Wonderful Convocation Discourse - November 22nd 2010
As the 30th Convocation of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning approaches tommorow, let us remember Bhagawan's Wonderful Divine Discourse during last year's Convocation :
I do not want to revert to what has been already said. What is behind all this grandeur here? It is the innate culture of Bharat that is reflected in this celebration.
People go to different pilgrim centres to see God. They are in quest of God. I tell you, Oh simpletons, you are God, God is within you, above you, below you and by the side of you. Do not consider Him to be separate from you. The very Self (Atma) is divine. Have this feeling ingrained in you. Right from a tiny tot to a grown up, from microcosm to macrocosm, God is present in everyone. If you have such feelings, you will be successful in life. Therefore, you should repeatedly think that God is not elsewhere.
God is in your heart. The heart is the centre of God. You are God. You and God are one. God resides in the altar of your heart. There is no need to renounce the world. Remain in society with the awareness that God is within you. That is why it is said, Sahasra Seersha Purusha Sahasraksha Sahasra Pad (The Cosmic Being has thousands of heads, eyes and feet).
After being abducted by Ravana, it was only the power of her chastity which made Sita meet her husband Lord Rama. Mother Sita spent 10 months in Lanka. All the while she was thinking of Rama. She did not look at the face of anyone. She was even put to the test of fire, but she came out unscathed. Bharat is the land which gave birth to great women like Damayanti who reduced an evil-minded hunter to ashes by the power of chastity. This land also gave birth to Savitri who brought her dead husband back to life; Chandramati who extinguished wild fire with the power of truth. Can you show an example of a wife bringing her dead husband back to life? Have you seen such persons? She belongs to this land of Bharat.
Today we do not find such women of chastity. Bhagawan referred to Draupadi who never said ‘no’ to her husbands. She was always willing to serve them. She was totally contented. If the husband and wife live in harmony, the whole country will progress. Because of disharmony between the husband and wife, there is no peace anywhere. If there is adjustment between them, there will be peace. If such a life is lived, there will be no chaos. I want all householders to live in harmony and peace. There is no penance beyond this adjustment. Harmony at home is most important. Then all the rest will follow. If there is peace and harmony at home, there will be no anxiety. The path shown by these illustrious women should become the guideline of your life.
If you adhere to discipline in life, you will live a long and healthy life. The pure heart is the temple of God. Take care that negative thoughts do not enter your heart. The mind should not become perverted. Unity is possible only through spirituality. I want students to develop the principle of unity. Do not be narrow-minded. Youth should develop good character. The end of education is character. With good character, you can achieve anything. If you act according to the dictates of the mind, how can you expect to realise God? In the name of meditation, you sit while the mind loiters in the market.
You should not allow the mind to waver. Even if you are angry, do not fight. If you fight with someone, you are hurting yourself. Rectify your thoughts. That is what students should do. Educare is essential today. Along with formal education, educare is needed. Do not deviate from the path shown by Bhagawan. Be humble, do not be arrogant. When Rama was in search of Sita, they found some jewels. Rama asked Lakshmana to identify the jewels as to whether they were of Sita’s. Lakshmana was one of immaculate character. He had never seen the face of Sita. He had seen her toe rings since he used to touch her feet. One should live an ideal life like Lakshmana. But today this sort of exemplary character is not noticed.
There is no unity at the national level. There is no unity, but instead there is enmity. Everyone should work for the unity of this land. In fact, in every field of public life, unity is required.
If one secures high percentage of marks, there will arise jealousy in others. Jealousy is the reason for all controversies. You may tell that you are a top ranker, but it is only written on a piece of paper. Your heart, integrity that makes you really great, not medals.
All are the children of God. You should mingle with each other as brothers. This is the message of Bhagawan on this occasion of Convocation.
