La historia de la construcción del edificio del Mandir en Prashanti Nilayam, es una cadena de milagros obrados por la gracia de Bhagavan. 

El asombroso transporte de las vigas enormes, para la sala de oración central, desde la estación del ferrocarril en Penukonda, a dieciséis kilómetros de distancia. 

Vigas de 40 pies de largo habían venido de Trichinopoly (ahora Tiruchirapalli) hasta Penukonda en tren. El camino de Penukonda a Bukkapattanam, era un camino de arena en gran parte , y pasa a través de algunos pueblos con casas construidas a ambos lados, en las margenes de la carretera estrecha , con algunas curvas en ángulo agudo. 

Había un recorrido de tres kilómetros, desde Bukkapatanam a Puttaparthi , con unas alcantarillas  y calzadas a bajo nivel y una amplia extensión de arena del río Chitravathi. 

Luego estaba la tarea de izar las vigas pesadas sobre los altos muros de seis metros. Por lo tanto, los ingenieros abandonaron toda esperanza de transporte de las vigas de Penukonda a Puttaparthi y se llevaron ante Baba algunas propuestas alternativas para el techo de la sala de oración. Pero Baba no cedía.

Una buena mañana, el Oficial de Transporte por Carretera de distrito de Anantapur, que era un devoto de Baba, se despertó para encontrar una sorpresa en el frente de su casa. 

Fue una enorme grúa para  la presa de Tungabhadra, y había sido dejada allí y se negó a seguir adelante.  El conductor estaba lidiando con el motor en vano. No podía hacer que se mueva. Buscó la ayuda del Oficial de Transporte por Carretera que pensaba que la grúa había sido enviada por Baba, para el transporte de las vigas de Penukonda a Puttaparthi. 

Se convino en que la grúa transportaría las vigas, si se la reparaban.


El RTO se apresuró a Puttaparthi y oró a Baba, que materializó vibhuti  (ceniza sagrada) y se lo dio. Este vibhuti lo unto en el motor y le pidió al conductor que la pusiera en marcha y he aquí! la grúa comenzó a moverse. El conductor fue sorprendido felizmente hasta la estación de trenes de Penukonda , levantó las vigas con los brazos gigantes de la grúa y se dirigió hacia Puttaparthi. 

La vista de este gigante realizando el transporte de las vigas fue una gran sorpresa para los habitantes del pueblo que lo saludaban, alineándose a los bordes de la carretera. 

La grúa de alguna manera pasó por encima de las alcantarillas, las curvas, se tambaleó durante los empedrados y subió en su camino hasta la colina Karnatanagapalli!. 

Pero se detuvo, en las anchas arenas del río Chitravati! .

Baba en persona fue a la grúa, se sentó con el conductor y manejo el volante. 

Emocionado por el toque del Señor, la grúa se movió con alegría hasta el lugar de trabajo y descargo las vigas. SAI RAM...

Sai Ram - The Lord's Divine Touch



The story of the construction of the Mandir building at Prasanthi Nilayam is a chain of miracles wrought by Bhagawan's grace. The most astounding was the transport of the huge girders for the central prayer hall from the railway station at Penukonda sixteen miles away. Girders of 40 feet length had come from Trichinopoly (now Tiruchirapalli) to Penukonda by train. The road from Penukonda to Bukkapattanam was a district board road with a sandy stream at the seventh mile and it passed through a few villages with delicately built houses(!) flanking the narrow road on either side with a few acutely angled curves. There was a track of three miles, from Bukkapatanam to Puttaparthi with a few dilapidated culverts and low-level causeways and a broad expanse of the sand of the river Chitravathi. Then there was the task of hoisting the heavy girders on the twenty-foot high walls. Therefore, the engineers gave up all hope of transporting the girders from Penukonda to Puttaparthi and placed before Baba some alternative proposals for roofing the prayer hall. But Baba did not relent.


One fine morning, the Road Transport Officer of Anantapur district, who was a devotee of Baba, woke up to find a surprise in front of his house. It was a huge crane from the Tungabhadra Dam site that had stopped there and refused to move forward. It had struck work! The driver was grappling with the engine in vain. He could not make it move. He sought the help of the Road Transport Officer who thought that the crane was Baba sent (!) for transporting the girders from Penukonda to Puttaparthi. It was agreed that the crane would transport the girders if it were repaired.


The R.T.O. hurried to Puttaparthi and prayed to Baba, who materialised some vibhuti (sacred ash) and gave it to him. This vibhuti was smeared on the engine and the driver was asked to start it and lo! the crane started moving. The surprised driver went happily to Penukonda railway station, lifted the girders with the giant arms of the crane and started towards Puttaparthi. The sight of this giant carrying the girders was a great surprise for the villagers who greeted it by lining up on the roadsides. The crane somehow passed over the culverts, negotiated hairpin bends, lurched over the slushes and puffed its way up the Karnatanagapalli hill! It did not move further, may be on seeing the broad sheet of sand of the Chitravathi River! Baba himself went to the crane, sat with the driver and handled the steering wheel. Thrilled by the touch of the Lord, the crane moved happily to the work spot and unloaded the girders.

Sin embargo, algunos de ustedes podrían preguntarse, ¿ Algunos han llegado a Tí y pudieron hablarte , porque ?: "Hemos participado en esta práctica espiritual desde hace años, hemos escrito los nombres de Dios, lakhs de veces, los hemos repetido muchas veces durante muchos años, pero no hemos tenido éxito ¿Por qué no llegaron a la meta? "


Quiero que cada uno de ustedes busque dentro de sí mismo la respuesta, examine su propio esfuerzo y los logros, y juzgue su propia práctica espiritual, sin mi ayuda. 

¿Has anhelado ¿has llorado por el Señor como Thyaagaraaja lo hizo, por ejemplo? ¿Ha derramado lágrimas de contrición, lágrimas de alegría, mientras repetían su nombre, tan lleno de dulzura y belleza, mientras que visualizaban su forma tan llena de belleza y encanto?.

Es posible que hayan llorado, pero ¿quién sabe por qué, quién sabe el impulso que genero la tristeza? .

Fueron lágrimas derramadas por miedo, codicia, orgullo, ego , por si mismos, o porque el Señor no estaba cerca?.

Every Single Person whould Judge their own Saadhana unaided - Bhagawan



However, some of you might question, why. Some have come to Me and asked this very question: "We have been engaged in this Saadhana for years now; we have written the name Lakhs of times, we have repeated it ceaselessly for many years, but we have not succeeded! Why have we not reached the goal?"


I want each one of you to search within yourself for the answer; examine your own effort and achievement and judge your own Saadhana, unaided by Me. Have you yearned, have you pined, have you wept for the Lord as Thyaagaraaja did, for example? Have you shed tears of contrition, tears of exultation, while repeating His name so full of sweetness and beauty; while visualising His form so full of loveliness and charm? You might have wept; but who knows for what; who knows the impulse that swept you into that sadness? Were they tears shed out of fear or greed or pride, or because the Lord was not near?.

The word Jnana also means, the eagerness to realise the Atma thathwa (the Principle of the Atma) through inquiry from those with spiritual experience. If you are anxious to get this wisdom or experience, go to realised souls and win their grace. Study well their moods and manners, and await the chance to ask them for the help. When doubts arise, approach them calmly and courageously. No amount of sea water can slake one’s thirst. Similarly any hours of study of the scriptures will not help in solving our doubts. Jnana or the ultimate wisdom, can be won only from and through elders who have experienced the absolute. Serve them and win their love. Only then can this precious Jnana be won.
