VISIÓN INTERIOR

*Bhakti te dará Jnana*
Una maestra, que era una ardiente devota de la Madre Lalitha y había estado orando constantemente por Su gracia para alcanzar la más alta y última sabiduría para ver la divinidad en todo y en todos.
Mientras hacía un poco de Naivedyam (ofrenda de comida) y traía a Swami su cena, Swami le contó la historia de Adi Sankara cuando era niño, el santo recibió la responsabilidad de ofrecerle Naivedyam ─ un tazón de leche, en nombre de su padre Shiva guru, a la Divina Madre en su templo.
“El pequeño Sankara le ofreció el tazón de leche a la Diosa, mientras su padre se ocupaba de alguna tarea importante en la ciudad. Sankara esperó a que la Diosa bebiera la leche, sin darse cuenta de las formalidades de tales rituales. Inocente y pacientemente esperó a que la Madre bebiera la leche, pero ¿cómo podría una Estatua consumir la ofrenda? Sin embargo, el pequeño Sankara insistió en que Ella bebiera, o de lo contrario, su padre podría estar disgustado porque la adoración no fuera completada. Complacida por su inocente devoción, la Madre se manifestó en la Estatua y bebió toda la leche. Sankara estaba satisfecho pero luego un nuevo dilema se apoderó de su pequeño ser, ya que ahora no quedaba leche para regalar como Prasadam (ofrenda sagrada sobrante para otros devotos participantes).
¡Su padre podría estar molesto con él, e incluso dudar de que el se haya bebido todo el Prasadam, que se iba a distribuir entre todos!
Sus llanto no fue en vano, entonces la Diosa Madre compasiva llenó el cuenco vacío con Su propia leche materna, bebiendo el pequeño Sankara se convirtió en el Realizado sabio Adi Sankaracharya ".
¡Su padre podría estar molesto con él, e incluso dudar de que el se haya bebido todo el Prasadam, que se iba a distribuir entre todos!

-Swami finalmente reveló la moraleja de la historia:
“Es el Bhakti o la devoción, de Sankara, lo que le otorgó Jnana o sabiduría. Ese es el camino más simple y fácil. El camino de la acción o Karma Marga ─, puede generar la sensación de ser el hacedor y, por lo tanto, los apegos; el camino de sabiduría o Jnana Marga, puede generar el ego de saber más que otros, pero Bhakti Marga ─ genera humildad y eso te hace elegible para la sabiduría suprema”.

A teacher, who was an ardent devotee of Mother Lalitha and had been constantly praying for Her grace to attain the highest, the ultimate wisdom to see divinity in everything and everyone.
As he made some Naivedyam (food offering) and brought for Swami for His dinner, Swami told him the story of Adi Sankara when as a child the saint was given the responsibility of offering the Naivedyam ─ a bowl of milk, by his father Shivaguru, to the Divine Mother at their temple.
“The little Sankara offered the bowl of milk to the Goddess, while his father attended to some important task away in the town. Sankara waited for the Goddess to actually drink the milk, unaware of the formalities of such rituals. Innocently and patiently he waited long for the Mother to drink the milk, but how could a Statue consume the offering? However, little Sankara was adamant that She drank, or else, his father might be displeased that the worship wasn’t complete. Pleased by his innocent devotion, the Mother manifested out of the Statue and drank all the milk. Sankara was satisfied but then a new dilemma caught hold of his little being that now no milk was left to give away as Prasadam (partaking of the leftover sacred offering by other devotees), father might be upset with him and even doubt that he drank away all the Prasadam that was to be given to many! His cries did not go in vain as the compassionate Mother Goddess filled the empty bowl with Her own breast milk, drinking which little Sankara became the wise Adi Sankaracharya, the Realised One.”
Swami finally gave away the moral of the story, “It’s the Bhakti or devotion, of Sankara that bestowed Jnana or wisdom on him. That’s the simplest and easiest path. Karma Marga ─ path of action, may bring doer ship and thereby attachments, Jnana Marga ─ path of wisdom, may bring ego of having known more than others, but Bhakti Marga ─ brings humility and that makes you eligible for the ultimate wisdom.”
