Este cuerpo ha sido dado no para comer y disfrutar, sino para servir y, de este modo, encontrar satisfacción en la existencia de uno. Cualquier cosa que hagan en la vida debe centrarse en un solo pensamiento: “Cómo va a ayudar a otros que lo necesitan”. Ese es el propósito de todo lo que hacemos. Para traer este noble pensamiento a la vida de toda la gente, la educación es el mejor medio, la mejor herramienta. El verdadero servicio a Dios es cuando transformamos lo humano en Divino.

En lo que se considerará un día histórico en los anales de la misión educativa iniciada por Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba hace muchas décadas, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai lanzó el programa Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam, comenzando con la inauguración de un canal de YouTube y una aplicación movil. El programa proporcionará una formación integral consistente en educación tanto secular como espiritual.

El grupo de instituciones educativas Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva ofrece educación gratuita a más de 4500 niños, en 23 campuses ubicados en 18 distritos de Karnataka y uno en Telangana. Con la guía de Sadhguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, esta nueva aplicación de educación ofrecerá lecciones de video en el aula de alta calidad a todos los niños absolutamente gratis, sirviendo a aquellos que estudian en varias clases desde VI hasta II PUC (nivel intermedio) en inglés y kannada.

Mientras hablaba de la importancia de esta aplicación, Sri Madhusudan Sai señaló que en estos tiempos de crisis del Coronavirus donde miles de niños no pueden asistir a la escuela, lamentablemente hay quienes intentan aprovechar esta oportunidad y venden educación a través de aplicaciones. “Si bien los que pueden pagar podrian beneficiarse, millones de niños de zonas rurales y desfavorecidas se verán privados de aprender. Por lo tanto, esta aplicación ayudará a aquellos niños que de otra forma no tendrían acceso a un contenido de alta calidad online para sus clases. Esta aplicación es gratuita y está disponible para todos sin discriminación alguna. La educación es el derecho primario de cada niño y debe estar disponible sin cargo”, dijo.

La aplicación también dará la bienvenida a todos los voluntarios que deseen compartir sus conocimientos no sólo sobre materias, sino también sobre la vida y el vivir en general, y capacitar a los niños en habilidades para la vida, educación moral y espiritual.

En esta ocasión, Sri S. Suresh Kumar, Honorable Ministro de educación primaria y secundaria, Gobierno de Karnataka, envió un mensaje de video en el que elogió los maravillosos esfuerzos del Grupo de Instituciones Educativas Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva por brindar educación basada en valores de calidad. Felicitó a las instituciones por presentar la aplicación que beneficiará no sólo a los niños que estudian en las instituciones educativas Sathya Sai Loka Seva, sino también a la sociedad en general, y deseó a todos lo mejor.

Launch of Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam

In what will be considered a historic day in the annals of the education mission begun by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba many decades ago, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai launched the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam programme, beginning with the inauguration of a YouTube channel and a mobile app. The programme will provide a well-rounded education consisting of both secular and moral education.

Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Group of Educational institutions provides free education to over 4500 children, across 23 campuses in 18 districts of Karnataka and one in Telangana. With the guidance of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, this new mobile education app will deliver high quality video classroom lessons to all children absolutely free of charges, serving those studying in various classes from VI upto II PUC (Intermediate) in English and Kannada medium.

While speaking about the importance of this app, Sri Madhusudan Sai pointed out that in these times of corona crisis where lakhs of children are unable to attend school, sadly there are those who are trying to profit from this opportunity and selling education through apps. “While those who can afford may benefit, crores of rural and underprivileged children would be deprived of learning. Therefore, this app would help those children who would otherwise not have access to high quality online content for their classes. This app is free and available to all without any discrimination whatsoever. Education is the primary right of every child and must be made available without charges”, He said.

The app will also welcome all volunteers who would like to share their knowledge of not only subjects, but even life and living in general, and train children on life skills, moral and spiritual education.

On this occassion, Sri S. Suresh Kumar, Hon'ble minister for primary and secondary education, Government of Karnataka, sent a video message wherein, he commended the wonderful efforts of Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Group of Educational Institutions for providing free high-quality value-based education. He congratulated the institutions for bringing out the app which will benefit not just the children studying in Sathya Sai Loka Seva educational institutions, but also the society at large, and wished all the very best.
