En la Conferencia de Educación Global, los oradores hablaron sobre una comprensión muy técnica, una definición clásica de "Valores".
Swami en su discurso dice: “Puedes deliberar, debatir, argumentar y concluir; ¡Pero para Mí, 'Amor' solo es todo el Ser, y el fin de toda la educación en el mundo! Si las personas aprenden a amarse las unas a las otras desinteresadamente, creo que su educación está completa; de lo contrario no!
¿Quién podría haberlo simplificado aún más?
Es tan hermoso vivir, aprender, seguir y beneficiarse de Swami en nuestro día a día. Todos los días en este Ashram y en otros lugares; quien sea y donde sea que estén asociados con Swami, de alguna manera están escribiendo la historia de la humanidad.
Cada palabra y acto de Swami está cambiando el curso de la historia humana. Es posible que no veas su impacto hoy o mañana o incluso una semana después.
Swami dijo que no espera que todos los cambios ocurran a la mañana siguiente. Él tiene la paciencia para esperar y ver.
Pero como hemos hecho un comienzo correcto, en algún momento, el mundo se verá mejor.
Nuestros hijos tendrán una educación de calidad basada en valores, los seres humanos sabrán cómo vivir y la humanidad será realmente amable.
Ese es el tipo de mundo que Swami está contemplando y este es el esfuerzo hacia eso.
Y todos somos socios, no solo participantes. Por pequeña que sea nuestra contribución, aún es significativa a sus ojos.
En el hospital de Mumbai, Swami estaba hablando con los trabajadores, contratistas, voluntarios y médicos. Swami dijo: " si alguien te pregunta lo que estás haciendo, no les digas que estás barriendo el suelo o limpiando los baños o cocinando comida en la cocina. Dile que estoy salvando a un niño! Todo el mundo debe hablar el mismo idioma del chico de la sala, desde el que limpia al cocinero al síndico!"
Un limpiador asegura que los baños sean higiénicos, desinfectados para que no haya una infección que se propague dentro del hospital y que la cirugía realizada por el médico sea exitosa y que el niño esté seguro.
Un cocinero cocina según las pautas y se asegura de que haya alimentos frescos y saludables que lleguen al niño, lo cual es vital para su supervivencia.
Cada persona es un socio en este trabajo de Swami, por pequeño que sea. No subestimes el poder de lo que hiciste o lo que puedes hacer en la misión de Swami, incluso si no pareces estar calificado para ocupar todas esas llamadas "posiciones" donde puedes hacer mucho más.
Incluso si has saludado a una persona que ha entrado en el Ashram, te has asociado a la misión de Swami de alguna manera. Esa cálida sonrisa recorrerá un largo camino para hacer mella en su mente, tocar su corazón y transformar su alma para el bien. Este Ashram no es el lugar más conveniente y cómodo para vivir, las personas que son mucho más ricas y que pueden pagar una suite de cinco estrellas en algún lugar vendrían aquí. Este no es el lugar que te sirve la mejor comida. Este no es el lugar más buscado, el más popular a partir de ahora.
Pero aún así la gente viene aquí porque más allá de todas las comodidades, conveniencias y popularidad; Lo que están mirando es el amor cálido de los habitantes de este Ashram. Eso es lo que les atrae a este lugar. Todo el mundo no puede encontrarse con Swami y tener una palabra con Él todo el tiempo, pero se encuentran con usted todo el tiempo en la carretera, en el patio de comidas o en los pasillos del salón de Darshan. Cuando sonríes y dices ‘Sai Ram’ con todo el amor y la preocupación; eso los toca tanto.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - El mundo entero es una familia. Y así es como nos convertimos en una familia dirigida por Dios mismo como la cabeza.
Vi a los delegados y oradores el primer día en que llegaron y los vi nuevamente el último día en que se fueron y vi la diferencia entre los dos. No eran las mismas personas. Así es como sé que la Conferencia Mundial de Educación fue un éxito. No porque surgió un gran modelo de educación en valores que cambiará el mundo, sino porque las personas que vinieron aquí dejaron a las personas cambiadas (para mejor). Esa es la magia de este lugar. ¡Esa es la magia del amor! Esto es lo que debemos mantener. Esta es la cultura de este lugar.
¡Cuando vine aquí en días anteriores, en el momento en que los ancianos me vieron, vinieron corriendo solos para preguntar si tome mi comida! Esto no es sólo en Muddenahalli. Es la cultura de la India. El saludo más común en las aldeas indias incluso hoy en día, antes de que digan "Ram Ram" o "Hare Krishna"; nos preguntarán si tomamos nuestro desayuno o almuerzo o el té.
Si no lo hicimos, lo primero que dirán es ven vamos a tomarlo en sus hogares. Swami está de alguna manera trayendo de vuelta esa cultura.
Mientras Swami hablaba con los voluntarios, dijo: “Si lo que hicieron todos en los últimos tres días, si pudieron hacerlo durante todo el año y todos los años de su vida; ¿Cómo se vería el mundo? ”
Nadie sería un extraño. Todos serían una familia. Todo el mundo sería una sola familia.

At the Global Education Conference, the speakers were talking about a very technical understanding, a classic definition of ‘Values’.
Swami in His discourse says, “You can deliberate, debate, argue and conclude; but to Me, ‘Love’ alone is the be all and end all of all the education in the world! If people learn how to love each other selflessly, I think their education is complete; else not!”
Who could have simplified it further? It is so beautiful to live, learn, follow and benefit from Swami in our day to day life. Every single day in this ashram and elsewhere; whoever and wherever they are associated with Swami, they are in some way writing the history of humankind. Every single word and act of Swami is changing the course of human history. You may not see its impact today or tomorrow or even a week later. Swami said He is not looking forward to see all the changes happen the very next morning. He has the patience to wait and watch. But because we have made the right beginning, somewhere down the line, the world would look better. Our children will have values based quality education, human beings will know how to live, and human kind will be really kind! That is the kind of world Swami is envisaging and this is the effort towards that. And we are all partners, not just participants. Howsoever small our contribution might be, it is still significant in His eyes.
In Mumbai hospital, Swami was talking to the workers, contractors, volunteers and doctors. Swami said, “If somebody asks you what you are doing, don’t tell them you are sweeping the floor or cleaning the toilets or cooking food in the kitchen. Tell them I am saving a child! Everybody should speak the same language from the ward boy, to the cleaner to the cook to the Trustee!”
A cleaner ensures that the toilets are hygienic, disinfected so that there is no infection that is spread inside the hospital and the surgery done by the doctor is successful and the child is safe. A cook cooks as per the guidelines and ensures there is fresh, healthy food which reaches the child which is vital for the child’s survival. Every single person is a partner in this work of Swami howsoever small it may be. Don’t underestimate the power of what you did or what you can do in Swami’s mission even if you don’t seem to be qualified to be occupying all those so-called ‘positions’ where you can do much more.
Even if you have greeted a person who has walked into the ashram, you have partnered in Swami’s mission in some way. That warm smile will go a long way in making a dent in his mind, touching his heart and transforming his soul for the good. This Ashram is not the most convenient and comfortable place to live, people who are much richer and can afford a five-star suite somewhere would come here. This is not the place which serves you the best meal. This is not the most sought after place, the most popular as of now. But still people come here because beyond all the comforts, conveniences and popularity; what they are looking at is the warm love from the indwellers of this ashram. That is what attracts them to this place. Everybody cannot meet Swami and have a word with Him all the time, but they do meet you all the time on the road, or in the food court or in the corridors of Darshan hall. When you smile and say ‘Sai Ram’ with all the love and concern; that touches them so much. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The whole world is a family. And this is how we become a family led by God Himself as the head.
I saw the delegates and speakers on the first day when they arrived and saw them again on the last day when they left and I saw the difference between the two. They were not the same people. That is how I know the Global Education Conference was a success. Not because it came up with great model of value education which will change the world but because people who came here left as changed (for better) people. That is the magic of this place. That is the magic of love! This is what we ought to keep up. This is the culture of this place.
When I came here in earlier days, the moment the elders spotted me would come running on their own to ask if I had my food! This is not just in Muddenahalli. It was the culture of India. The most common greeting across Indian villages even today before they say ‘Ram Ram’ or ‘Hare Krishna’; they would ask is if we had our breakfast or lunch or tea. If we didn’t have, the first thing they will say is to come and have it in their homes. Swami is somehow bringing that culture back.
As Swami spoke to the volunteers, He said, “If what you all did in the last three days, if you could do all through the year, and all the years of your life; how the world would look like?” Nobody would be a stranger. Everybody would be a family. All the world would be one family.
