'Más allá de las fachadas de escuelas, hospitales, sevas nutricionales, educación, cuidado de la salud de madres y niños; algo más grande está sucediendo, algo grande se está gestando hacia el norte en el Himalaya y un día, como la cascada del Ganges, ¡ fluirá hacia el sur! y verás todo el lugar inundado de sabios, santos, videntes, mendicantes; todo tipo de aspirantes. Ese es el futuro de este lugar, Muddenahalli.

Swami como personalidad está muy por encima cualquier personalidad espiritual . No hay comparación con Swami. 
Él está en algún lugar arriba, por encima. 
Olviden que Swami es Dios. Como persona espiritual, Él está muy elevado, por encima de cualquier persona, porque su manera de trabajar, es absolutamente desinteresada, se preocupa por lo que la gente piensa, dice o hace, con todo lo que Él está haciendo por ellos; ya sea que lo reconozcan, lo reverencian, lo adoren, o lo ridiculicen, lo odien; no le importa nada. 

Al igual que la madre Ganges. Ella solo fluye por la alegría de fluir. A Ella no le importa si el pecador se está bañando en Ella, o si un santo se está bañando, si alguien está escupiendo o arrojando basura; ¡A Ella no le importa! Ella sigue fluyendo. Ella dice: Cumpliré mi dharma, haré mi deber de fluir. 

Esta fue la reunión de dos personalidades similares en Gangotri fue increíble para mí ser testigo. Por un lado, la madre Ganga fluyendo desinteresadamente sin preocuparse por nada; y por el otro lado estaba Swami de pie, encarnación del desinterés, a quien tampoco le importa lo que otros hacen, dicen o piensan en Èl.

Él solo hace lo que tiene que hacer, desinteresadamente. Personalmente, fue una experiencia muy redentora cuando vi a Ganga Ji y Swami juntos porque ambos personifican el desinterés. 
Están santificando a muchos simplemente por estar cerca. Solo con un chapuzón en Ganga, sentimos que somos redimidos y nos volvemos más puros y una pequeña proximidad de Swami nos redime en ese momento.

Y cuánto sabe la gente de su importancia, debo decírselo. Chidanand Saraswati Ji ha estado allí por bastante tiempo. El ashram fue establecido en 1932 por su Gurú y desde la edad de ocho años, ha estado en penitencia, severas austeridades y habito en el bosque bajo la guía de su Gurú, y entonces comprendió el valor de lo que es Swami. 
El último día de nuestro viaje, volvimos al ashram de Parmarth Niketan. Swamiji estaba muy emocionado. Él dijo: 'Qué gran fortuna. Cuando comenzó el viaje, nos dio un día extra para estar con Èl. Y hoy, nuevamente tenemos a Swami. 
Gangotri también quedó satisfecho. Mira, cómo Swami arregló todo y se ocupa de todos '. 

En la noche cuando estuvimos allí, Swami posó con el grupo para unas fotos. Él quería algunas fotos con todos nosotros. En el ashram de Parmarth Niketan, un niño indio americano, ese día, había experimentado la ceremonia Hindú de 'Upanayan Sanskar', la tradición de usar el hilo sagrado como Brahman, un voto para defender la cultura de nuestras tradiciones y espiritualidad Indias. 

Cuando llegó el momento del arathi a Ganga en las orillas del Ganges, Swami y Chidanand Saraswati fueron al lugar de Upanayan. Después del Purnahuti (ceremonia Hindú), Swamiji C. Saraswati le dice al niño: "No tienes idea de lo afortunado que eres". 
Son devotos de Chidanand Ji, y sin embargo, le dice a ese chico y a sus padres cuán afortunados fueron. 
El chico parecía confundido. Obviamente, él no entendía por qué Swamiji estaba enfatizando su fortuna. 
Entonces Swamiji me dice, por favor, en nombre de Swami, que le dé esto (un regalo), porque él debería ser bendecido por Swami. ¡Esa es la mayor bendición que el niño puede obtener! Siguió repitiendo esto dos veces, tres veces. 
Swamiji le dijo a los padres del niño. No tienen idea de cuán sagrado es este día. Qué afortunados son de que en este momento, tu hijo sea bendecido así.

Para aquellos que han tenido esta comprensión de la espiritualidad, que la han practicado durante décadas juntos, que han hecho sadhana por el bien de Dios, comprender a Swami, su presencia y su gloria es muy fácil. 
Para aquellos que no han tomado el camino del sadhana, y han asumido que han merecido a Dios, son ellos los que se engañan a sí mismos. Y es por eso que es tan difícil de entender a Swami.

Para mi gran fortuna, Swami me mostró muchas cosas. En el Ganga arathi, tuvimos el darshan de Shiva, Parvathi y tantos dioses. Incluso en Badrinath cuando estábamos haciendo la pooja, vi que todo el cielo estaba lleno de seres. Fue como un anfiteatro. Había seres a tu alrededor. Por un momento cuando lo vi, todo el templo desapareció y lo que veía eran seres y seres, rishis, munis y devathas a su alrededor, mirando hacia abajo, donde Swami estaba parado, en el sanctum sanctorum del templo de Badrinath. Esas personas esperaban a que Swami venga. Ellos saben la importancia, el valor de lo que es Swami.

Un niño Pastor encontró una piedra brillante. Y la ató al cuello de su oveja favorita. Un joyero pasaba y notó la radiante piedra brillante. Le preguntó al pastorcito dónde la encontró. El chico dijo que la consiguió en algún lugar del bosque. ¡El joyero le preguntó al pastor si se la daría y le ofreció diez rupias! 
Pero el niño dijo, esta es mi oveja favorita y se ve hermosa con esta piedra. No quiero darte esta piedra. Entonces el joyero le ofreció cien rupias. Entonces el niño comenzó a pensar, debe haber algo especial en esta piedra. ¿Por qué me daría cien rupias por esta piedra? ¡El chico todavía no se decidía, así que el joyero le ofreció mil rupias! 
Swami cuenta esta historia muy bien, a Su manera. El joyero entonces ofreció diez mil rupias y el pastor acepto darle la piedra. 
Incluso entonces, el niño había sido estafado porque la piedra valía más que diez mil. De lo contrario, ¿por qué el joyero pagaría por ella esa suma? 

De esta manera, tenemos a Swami con nosotros. De alguna manera, nos hemos tropezado con Èl, y estamos en presencia de Swami. Es así para nosotros. Lo encontramos como un pedazo de piedra en el bosque. ¿Y qué hacemos? Lo vinculamos a nuestra oveja favorita, nuestro deseo favorito, para satisfacer este o aquel deseo, ante la presencia de Swami; ¡consígueme mejores notas, más dinero, una posición más importante! 
Pero alguien como Chidanand Saraswati Ji o algunos sacerdotes en el Himalaya, alguien como Swami Akhileshwarananda Ji y los seres en lo sutil, conocen el valor de Swami. 
¡Qué desafortunados! No pueden tenerlo, mientras que nosotros lo tenemos en nuestras manos. De ninguna manera, deberíamos cambiarlo por algo tan tonto, tan insignificante como un deseo mundano.

A medida que las instituciones progresan, las personas se unen a ellas; y las personas se van de ellas también ! Por supuesto, hay más personas uniéndose que saliendo. Pero veo a algunas personas desilusionadas por algo, desanimadas, con un poco de falta de respeto aquí y una pequeña decepción por allá. Entonces pienso en ellos como el pastorcillo. Nos topamos con Dios, pero luego pensamos que Dios solo vale tanto. Si no recibo suficiente respeto en esta institución, no trabajaré aquí. Si no obtengo la posición que deseo, no creo que quiera quedarme aquí. Si Swami no me mira durante el Darshan, si no cumple mi deseo, no creo que quiera estar aquí. Qué tonto es intercambiar una gema preciosa por una suma insignificante. Eso está sucediendo. Nuestros egos, nuestros apegos, nuestros deseos, nuestras desilusiones; ellos son los que nos alejan de esta oportunidad divina. 
Swami sigue diciendonos, haz sadhana. Por favor, purifica tu corazón. Recuerda constantemente que es una oportunidad, más allá de nuestro merecimiento.

Una vez los estudiantes le dijeron a Swami, "Nos has dado muchas oportunidades. Y no hemos hecho nada por Ti ". 

Entonces Swami dijo:" ¡Te estoy dando, para que luego hagas algo por Mí.! ". Luego Swami explicó,  es como postpago y prepago; tu haces algo(mérito), y llegas aquí conmigo, es un camino. Cuando está agotado, tu carga se ha terminado; y el teléfono está muerto, (prepago). 
Mientras que este es el otro camino (pospago). Él nos da primero, para que hagamos lo que Él quiere que hagamos, ¡el camino del pospago! Tenemos que pagar más tarde por todo lo que hemos recibido. Que quiere a cambio de nosotros? Amor, servicio, amabilidad, compasión; eso es todo lo que Él espera. Él no pide nada a cambio. Ese es nuestro hermoso Swami. Esa es la gloria de esta oportunidad.

Después de mucho tiempo, podría salir de este trabajo diario de administrar hospitales, escuelas y ashrams y ver algo diferente. Vean la razón subyacente por la cual Swami está haciendo todo esto, es para llevarnos de regreso a nuestra divinidad, para hacernos entender quiénes somos realmente.

Establecer este Sanatana Dharma de una vez y para siempre en el mundo, para que el mundo cambie. Y que todos aprendamos a amarnos y respetarnos, trabajar y cuidarnos unos a otros. No  hacernos daño, ni herirnos. 
Y convertirnos en una gran familia global; *Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam*( "el mundo es una sola familia"), el deseo, el sueño de nuestros rishis, videntes y sabios de antaño. Para eso fue todo este Viaje a los Himalayas (Teen Dham-moradas) , y llevarlos conmigo por todo este viaje.

Espero que estos pensamientos que compartí nos beneficien a todos, es un recordatorio para mí cuando hablo, y definitivamente permanecerá en sus mentes para siempre cuando escuchen, la gloriosa oportunidad que Swami les brindó.

Y no va a estar lejos el dia, como Swami dijo, que Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, estará lleno de Rishis.

¡Verás solo cabelleras enmarañadas por todas partes, un mar naranja! Eso va a suceder muy pronto. Eso va a suceder aquí. Lo sé porque la forma en que Swami se conectó con todas estas personas en los Himalayas, es muy obvia, llegará un día en que todos descenderán de esas alturas del Himalaya, a esta llanura de Muddenahalli, solo para estar en presencia de el Avatar! 
Ese día no está lejos. Puedo preverlo porque al vivir con Swami por tanto tiempo y hacer con Él, lo que sea que estemos haciendo, definitivamente desarrollas una idea de lo que vendrá después. 
Por lo tanto, más allá de esta fachada de escuelas, hospitales, sevas nutricionales, educación, cuidado de la salud integral de madres y niños; algo más grande está sucediendo, algo grande se está gestando hacia el norte, en los Himalayas,  y un día como una cascada del Ganges, fluirá hacia el sur hasta Muddenahalli, y verás todo el lugar inundado de sabios, santos, videntes, mendicantes; todo tipo de aspirantes. 
Ese es el futuro de este lugar, Muddenahalli. ¡Uno puede elegir estar aquí o uno puede elegir cambiarlo por algo muy tonto! 
La oportunidad o decisión está totalmente en nuestras manos.

Swami as a personality is way above the next spiritual personality. There is no comparison to Swami. He is somewhere up, above. Forget Swami being God. As a spiritual persona, He is so far high, above the very next person, because the way He works, absolutely selflessly, caring a hoot about what people think, say or do, with all that He is doing for them; whether they acknowledge it, they revere Him, adore Him, or they ridicule Him, hate Him; He cares nothing. Just like mother Ganges. She just flows for the joy of flowing. She does not care if sinner is taking bath or a saint is taking bath, if somebody is spitting or throwing garbage; she does not care! She keeps flowing. She says, I will do My dharma, I will do my duty of flowing. That union of two similar personalities at Gangotri was amazing for me to witness. On the one side, mother Ganga selflessly flowing without caring about anything and on the other side is Swami standing, embodiment of selflessness, who also cares nothing about what others do, say or think about Him. He just does what He has got to do, selflessly. Personally, it was a very redeeming experience when I saw Ganga Ji and Swami together because both of them epitomize selflessness. They are sanctifying so many just by being around. Just by taking a dip in Ganga we feel that we are redeemed and become purer and a little proximity of Swami redeems us then and there.

And how much people know the importance of it, I must tell you. Chidanand Saraswati Ji has been there for quite some time. The ashram was established in 1932 by his Guru and from the age of eight, he has been into penance, severe austerities and forest dwelling under his Guru’s guidance and so he understands the value of what Swami is. On the final day of our trip, we were back in Parmarth Niketan ashram. Swamiji was very excited. He said, 'What a fortune. When the trip began, He gave us an extra day to be with Him. And today, we are again having Swami. Gangotri also got satisfied. See, how Swami has arranged everything and takes care of so many things.' In the evening when we were there, we clicked some pictures. He wanted some pictures with all of us. At the Parmarth Niketan ashram, an Indian American boy had, on that day, undergone the ‘Upanayan Sanskar’, a tradition of wearing the sacred thread as Brahmins, a vow towards upholding the culture of our Indian traditions and spirituality. When Ganga arathi got over at the banks of Ganges, Swami and Chidanand Saraswathi went to the Upanayan venue. After the Purnahuti, Swamiji tells the boy, ‘You have no idea how fortunate you are’. They are devotees of Chidanand Ji and yet he says to that boy and his parents how fortunate they were! The boy seemed confused. Obviously he did not understand why Swamiji was emphasizing his fortune. Then Swamiji tells me, please, on behalf of Swami, give him this ( a gift), because he should be blessed by Swami. That is the highest blessing that the boy can get! He kept on repeating this twice, thrice. Swamiji told the boy’s parents. You have no idea how sacred is this day. How fortunate you are that at this moment, your son is blessed like this.

For those, who have been into this understanding of spirituality, who have have practiced it for decades together, who have done sadhana for the sake of God, understanding Swami, His presence, His glory is very easy. Those who have not taken to any path of sadhana, kind of assumed that they have deserved God, they are the ones fooling themselves. And that is why it is so difficult to understand Swami.

My great good fortune, Swami showed me so many things. At Ganga arathi, we had darshan of Shiva, Parvathi and so many gods. Even at Badrinath when we were doing pooja I saw, the whole sky was full of beings. It was like an amphitheatre. There were beings all around you. For a moment when I saw, the whole temple disappeared and what I see is beings and beings, rishis, munis and devathas all surrounding, looking down where Swami is standing right in the sanctum sanctorum of Badrinath temple. Those people wait for Swami to come. They know the importance, the value of what Swami is.

One Shepherd boy found a shining stone. And he tied it around the neck of his favourite sheep. A jeweler was passing by, noticed the shining bright stone. He asked the shepherd boy as to where did he find that. The boy said that he got it somewhere in the forest. The jeweler asked the shepherd boy if he would give it to him and offered ten rupees! But the boy said this is my favourite sheep and it is looking beautiful with this stone. I don’t want to give you this stone. So the jeweler offered hundred rupees. Then the boy started thinking, there must be something special about this stone. Why would he give me hundred rupees for this stone? The boy still stays undecided, so the jeweler offers thousand rupees! Swami tells this story nicely, the way He tells. The jeweler offers ten thousand rupees and the shepherd agrees to give the stone. Even then the boy has shortchanged himself because the stone is worth more than ten thousand. Otherwise, why would the jeweler pay for it? Like that, we have Swami with us. Somehow, we have stumbled upon Him, the presence of Swami. It is like that for us. We found Him like a piece of stone in the forest. And what do we do? We tie it to our favourite sheep, our favourite desire, to fulfill this or that desire with Swami’s presence; get me more marks, more money, bigger position! But somebody like Chidanand Saraswati ji or some priests up in the Himalayas, somebody like Swami Akhileshwarananda Ji and the beings in the subtle, they know the value of Swami. How unfortunate.l! They can’t get it, whereas we have it in our hands. In no way, we should trade it off for something so silly, so paltry as a worldly desire.

As the institutions are progressing, people are joining; people are leaving too! Of course, there are more people joining than leaving. But I see some people disillusioned by something, disheartened, with a little disrespect here, and a little disappointment elsewhere. Then I think of them just like the shepherd boy. We stumble upon God, but then we thought God is only worth so much. If I don’t get enough respect in this institution, I will not work here. If I don’t get that position which I desire for, I don’t think I want to stay here. If Swami does not look at me during Darshan, if He does not fulfill my desire, I don’t think I want to be here. How silly it is to be trading off a precious gem for some paltry sum. That’s happening. Our egos, our attachments, our desires, our disillusionments; they are the ones that take us away from this divine opportunity. Swami keeps saying, do sadhana. Please purify your heart. Constantly remember that it is an opportunity beyond our deservedness.

Once students told Swami, “You have given us so much of opportunity. We have not done anything for You.” Then Swami said, “I am giving you so that now you will do something for Me!” Then Swami explained, like postpaid and prepaid, you do something and reach here is one way. When it’s exhausted, your charge is over; the phone is dead, whereas this is the other model. He gives us first so that we do that what He wants us to do, the postpaid way! We have to pay it up later for all that we have received. What He wants in return from us? Love, service, kindness, compassion; that’s all He expects. He does not ask anything in return. That is our beautiful Swami. That is the glory of this opportunity.

After a long time, I could come out of this daily work of running hospitals, schools and ashrams and see something different. See the underlying reason why Swami is doing all this. To take us back to our divinity, to make us understand who we truly are. To establish this Sanatana Dharma once for all in the world, so that the world changes. And we all learn to love and respect each other, work and care for each other. We don’t harm and hurt each other. And we become one big global family; Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which was the prayer, wish, the dream of our rishis, seers and sages of yore. That was this entire Himalayan (Teen Dham) Trip about, my take away from this whole trip.

I hope these thoughts that I shared benefit us all, it’s a reminder to me when I speak and definitely it will remain in your mind forever when you hear, the glorious opportunity that Swami has provided.

And it’s not going to be far when Swami said Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli will be full of Rishis. You will see only matted locks everywhere, a sea of orange! That’s going to happen very soon. That’s going to happen here. That I know because the way Swami went on connecting to all these people in the Himalayas, it’s very obvious, a day will come when all of them will descend down from those heights of Himalayas to this plains of Muddenahalli only to be in the presence of the Avatar! That day is not far. I can foresee it because living with Swami for so long and doing with Him, whatever we are doing, definitely you develop some insight into what is coming next. So, beyond this façade of schools, hospitals, nutrition, education, mother and child care; something bigger is happening, something big is brewing up north in the Himalayas and one day like the cascade of Ganges, it will flow down south all the way to Muddenahalli and you will see the whole place flooded with sages, saints, seers, mendicants; all kinds of aspirants. That is the future of this place, Muddenahalli. One can choose to be here or one can choose to trade it off for something very silly! The opportunity or decision is totally in our hands.

Love is not something which enters your lives midway. It is the Atmic Principle which is always with you at all times. You should not allow this love to change from moment to moment. You must transmute all your thoughts into expressions of love. To regard whatever actions you perform as an offering to God is the best form of sādhanā (spiritual discipline). A photo feature of International Yoga Day celebrations held at Muddenahalli, Gulbarga and Mandya campuses has been presented.  In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan Naidu shares an interesting moment which happened between the Lord and a devotee. - Sathya Sai Grama Communications Team.  INNER VIEW By Sri Madhusudan Naidu Fruits Of Different Flavours    The eldest of all, the grandfather Mr Tandon, a nonagenarian who had come to Swami during his hay days, half a century ago, eventually brought all the members of his family to Swami in his earnestness to help them experience God’s love. Now as he was turning 92, He walked in to Swami’s room along with others to serve dinner in their home in London. As Swami was appreciating his decades old devotion, Mr Tandon prayed with tears, “Swami, give me noble thoughts that will translate into noble deeds.” Swami who was immensely pleased with this prayer remarked to all, “See! Most of the people in their old age are still stricken with many desires and worries, and even with one leg in the grave, if they get a chance they ask God for longer healthy life, more wealth and their own happiness. But here is Mr Tandon, who asked Me for noble thoughts and deeds. He has ripened like a fruit and has developed the sweetness of love and devotion, and now is detached.” “Like a fruit that grows on a branch of the tree but eventually ripens and detaches itself naturally from the same branch on which it grew all the while, man lives in the world but eventually matures spiritually to detach himself naturally from the same world. That is the way one ought to lead one’s life, that detachment from the world comes naturally with time.” Then looking at all the members of the family of different ages, He said with a chuckle, “You all are still green and bitter. DIVINE DISCOURSE SUMMARY – JUNE 14, 2018   It was the experience of the Rishis of the yore as well as those of today that ultimate peace lies in the experience of the Divinity that we all are. Peace is something that cannot be attained by the people in the ways of the world. But how do we get this peace? What do we give God in exchange of which He is going to grant us peace? What is the currency? What is the item or the thing that we have to give God against which He will grant us His property which is peace? Only when one is prepared to sacrifice can one attain peace – eternal peace. Endless peace comes to the one who sacrifices. The one who sacrifices for the sake of others, the one who leads life selflessly for the benefit of others, attains – and, not only attains but experiences – this endless peace forever. The best way to please God is to love all, serve all.   The devotees who accompanied Swami on the Yatra are those who have stood up for this principle of sacrifice and they have done everything in the best of their capacities to provide education, nutrition, health to others. Therefore, they have the right to show their face to the Lord because they have done everything they can in order to serve Lord in fellow beings.  Because by this continuous sacrifice and service, their heart has become fertile, their heart has become soft, their heart has become pure; therefore, the experience of Divinity has come to.... It is entirely your responsibility to uphold the righteousness of the land having been born in that land which is varied with its finesse of art and architecture. The hidden meaning in the word Bhaarata is that the Indians are the ones who derive bliss being immersed in God Bha+ra ta ( Bha is Bhagavanta, rata means immersed). Till the time where the Indians who are born in this land remember, love God, see God in everyone and serve God, till then the Indian culture and heritage will surely remain in the entire world permanently. We have known for ages the truth that Atma is in itself the Paramatma or the Divine. We have also known that the highest goal of education is to know the Self or the Divine. Today’s world is chaotic without peace, grief and fear stricken because of the extensive use of weapons all around and there has been no truthfulness anywhere. The main reason for this being selfishness in human beings. It is possible to re-establish peace in the world only by providing good education to our students in schools and colleges. The main aim of the University of Shri Sathya Sai for Human Excellence is to bring out excellent human beings who will be selfless, God loving and serving the society. To read more, click HERE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH?  DIVINE DISCOURSE SUMMARY – MAY 31, 2018    God has been described as consisting of three values or three attributes: Satyam Shivam and Sundaram. Truth that does not change, goodness that is always in the service of others and beauty – the experience of Divinity: these three consist of the God principle. The world outside that changes from morning till evening and the next day, the body that undergoes changes with time, the mind that changes with circumstances therefore cannot be called as the real Truth. When we do deeds, think or speak in a way that is not bringing happiness, goodness, auspiciousness to others, then we are drifting away from this principle of God, of Shivam. And when we concentrate only on the external appearances and we derive joy out of the experiences of our external senses, that is not the beautiful experience that God stands for.   The world keeps changing but God which forms the basis of this world remains changeless. to know this truth of the Divine basis of all existence –Nitya Shuddha Buddha Mukta Nirmalasvarupinam – that which is eternal, that which is pure, that which is free of all bondage, that which is ever present, that which is pure – that is the basis of everything else. To understand this is the true goal of education. All the knowledge of the world can come only so far and not further but this knowledge of Atman or the experience of Divinity alone....
