*Contando las ovejas*
Fue durante el viaje a Singapur en enero de 2018, que Swami estaba de camino a visitar la casa de un querido devoto, cuando debido al intenso tráfico, el automóvil se movía lentamente. Swami seguía mirando por la ventanilla del automóvil, aparentemente mirando los otros autos en la carretera, y también los altos rascacielos que flanqueaban la transitada carretera.
Después de un viaje más largo de lo habitual, finalmente Swami llegó al apartamento del devoto, donde otros miembros cercanos de la familia Sai de Singapur también se habían reunido para disfrutar de su amor.
Mirándolos a todos, dejó escapar un suspiro de alivio y dijo: "Había demasiado tráfico, así que tarde más de lo normal en llegar hasta aquí. Como tomaba tiempo el trayecto , para pasar Mi tiempo primero comencé a contar los autos en la carretera, pero había demasiados, así que perdí la cuenta de ellos. Luego comencé a contar los edificios y también perdí la cuenta de ellos. Finalmente comencé a contar mis devotos, y los encontré a todos".
El público entusiasta de este comentario divino estalló en una risa espontánea, al igual que Swami. Pero definitivamente había algo más que una conversación informal.
Para Swami, la incontable opulencia de los automóviles y la riqueza inconmensurable de las propiedades de los singapurenses, no le interesa nada, sin embargo, unos pocos devotos de corazón puro de Singapur, es todo lo que a Èl le importa y está feliz de tenerlos con Él siempre.
¡El es el pastor divino, Él conoce a Sus ovejas y Sus ovejas lo conocen a Èl, y en Su rebaño cada oveja cuenta.!

*Counting The Sheep*
It was during the trip to Singapore in January 2018, that Swami was on His way to visit the home of a dear devotee, when due to the heavy traffic, the car was rather moving slowly. Swami kept looking out of the window of the car apparently watching the other cars on the road, and also the tall skyscrapers that flanked the busy highway.
After a longer than usual drive finally Swami arrived at the apartment of the devotee where a few other close members of Singapore Sai family had also gathered to bask in His love. Looking at all of them, He let out a sigh of relief and said, “There was too much traffic and so it took longer than usual to reach here. As it was taking time on the road, to pass My time first I started counting the cars on the road, but there were too many so I lost count of them. Then I started counting the buildings and lost count of them too. Finally I started counting my devotees, and I found all of them.”
The eager audience of this divine remark burst in a spontaneous laughter, and so did Swami. But definitely there was more to it than a casual conversation.
To Swami, the uncountable opulence of cars and immeasurable affluence of properties of Singaporeans, don’t interest a bit, however a few pure hearted devotees of Singapore is all that He cares for and is happy to have them with Him always!
The divine shepherd that He is, knows His sheep and His sheep know Him, and in His flock every single sheep counts!
