En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en Padova, Italia, el 24 de abril de 2017, un devoto le pregunta por qué no hay buenos líderes.

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Pregunta: Nací en 1930 en una familia pobre y he visto muchas cosas. Por qué no hay buenos líderes políticos? Alguien que puede asumir todo y ayuda a crear algo mejor? Todavía tengo que ver a un hombre de verdad.

Swami: En Italia?

Devoto: Especialmente en Italia, sino también en todo el mundo.

Swami: Lo que usted experimenta es el resultado de sus acciones. karma individual es el primer nivel. Todos los individuos son parte de una familia, por lo que el karma de cada persona afecta a toda la familia. Si un miembro de la familia va por mal camino, toda la familia sufre. Por el contrario, si un miembro de la familia hace lo bueno, se beneficia toda la familia. A continuación, todas las familias juntas forman la sociedad. Si una familia hace el bien, se beneficia toda la sociedad, y a la inversa también. 

Entonces, todas las sociedades se unen y forman una nación. Por lo tanto, lo bueno de una nación depende de la sociedad que lo comprenden. 

Todos estos karmas - karma individual, el karma familiar, el karma social y el karma de la sociedad nacional están interrelacionados. Incluso cuando una persona hace el bien, en algún lugar, este afecta a toda la nación. Cuando una persona hace el mal, de alguna manera afecta a toda la cadena. 

Cuando más y más personas comienzan a ser buenas, es que comenzará a cambiar la forma en que la nación es. 

Se van a crear situaciones y circunstancias que lleven a obtener el tipo correcto de personas para dirigir la nación. Así es como el destino de una nación va a cambiar. 

No sólo un líder, todo lo necesario para que una nación se desarrolle vendrá por su propia virtud, esta gran ley indispensable es la llamada Karma Universal.

Eso es lo que estoy tratando de hacer. Estoy tratando de cambiar a muchas personas lo más rápido posible, de manera que un miembro individual pueda ir y cambiar su familia, muchas familias, cambiar la sociedad, las sociedades cambiar la nación y las naciones cambiar el mundo. 

Por lo tanto, si los individuos comienzan a ser justos, todo el pensamiento, todo el trabajo de la nación empezará a cambiar, porque la ley del Universo se asegurará de que las personas adecuadas lleguen en el momento adecuado para hacer las cosas correctas. 

Por otro lado, si la mayoría de las personas son felices como están las cosas y no hacen nada al respecto, nada puede cambiar. 

Por lo tanto, cada vez más personas tienen que volverse buenas para hacer que la nación sea buena. 

En hay que esperar que todas las personas sean buenas, pero, cuando la mayoría de ellas sean buenas, la nación se beneficiará. 

Todo depende de los ciudadanos del país, no del líder. La ley de la atracción traerá un líder que refleje a las personas en el país. Esa es la forma correcta de cambiar las cosas.

Question: I was born in 1930 into a poor family and have seen a lot of things. Why are there no good political leaders? Someone who can take on everything and help to create something better? I have yet to see a real man.

Swami: In Italy?

Devotee: Especially in Italy, but also all over the world.

Swami: Whatever you experience is a result of your actions. Individual karma is the first level. All individuals are part of a family, so each person’s karma affects the entire family. If one member of the family goes astray, the entire family suffers. Conversely, if one member of the family does good, the entire family benefits. Next, all the families together form the society. If a family does good, the entire society benefits, and the reverse is also true. Then, all societies come together and form a nation. Therefore, a nation’s good depends on the society that comprises it. All these karmas – individual karma, societal karma and national karma are all interlinked. Even when an individual does good, somewhere, it affects the entire nation. When an individual does wrong, it somehow affects the entire chain. When more and more individuals start becoming good, it will start changing the way the nation is. It will create situations and circumstances to get the right kind of people to lead the nation. That is how a nation’s fate will change. Not just the leader, everything needed for a nation to grow will come by its own under this great, indispensable law of the Universe called karma.

That is what I am trying to do. I am trying to change as many individuals as quickly as possible so that one individual member can go and change his family, many families change the society, societies change the nation and nations change the world. Therefore, if individuals start becoming righteous, the entire thinking, the entire working of the nation will start changing, because the law of the Universe will ensure that the right people come at the right time to do the right things. On the other hand, if most individuals are just happy the way things are and not doing anything about it, nothing can change. Thus, more and more people have to become good in order to make the nation good. At no point in time can you expect every single person to be good but, when most of them are good, the nation will benefit. It all depends on the citizens of the country, not on the leader. The law of attraction will bring a leader who reflects the people in the country. That is the right way of changing things.
