En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en Padova, Italia, el 24 de abril de 2017 un devoto hace tres preguntas relativas a las memoria antes de nacer, volver a conectar con uno mismo y sobre el amor a los demás. 

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami: 

Pregunta: Soy católico y siento curiosidad por algunos recuerdos del período anterior a mi nacimiento. Estaba en un mundo celestial con dos entidades que reconozco como procedentes de la India, que me decían: "Por favor, desciende". Tienes un proyecto importante Tienes una misión importante. "¿Podrías confirmar, Swami, si esto es solo mi imaginación o si hay algo más? 

Mi segunda pregunta es, a veces en la vida, no somos capaces de decidir y nos confundimos. ¿Cómo podemos volver a conectarnos con nosotros mismos para que podamos estar seguros de qué decisión debemos tomar? 

Finalmente, mi tercera pregunta es: a veces, aunque amamos, el amor no tiene ningún efecto, o no recibimos amor a cambio. ¿Qué deberíamos hacer en esta situación?

Swami: Los recuerdos del pasado definitivamente están allí. Hay un rol y una misión, y la misión es establecer el pensamiento religioso correctamente. Despeja las mentes de las personas que lo siguen, recordándoles la verdad y la esencia, y no enredarse en la periferia exterior, sintiendo profundamente desde dentro. Con el tiempo, a medida que la fruta madura, se caerá; a medida que llegue el momento, así se revelará.

En lo que se refiere a la toma de decisiones, si hay algún apego, puede no estar claro, va a crear confusión. Un médico muy fácilmente es capaz de operar al hijo de un vecino, pero con su propio hijo, sus manos se estremecerá. Si está conectado con el resultado, no se puede tomar decisiones. Sólo cuando está desapegado puede usted tomar las decisiones correctas. 

El verdadero amor es aquel que no espera nada a cambio. Si hay algo que espera a cambio, puede parecer que es amor, pero no es así. El verdadero amor es tan poderoso que no puede fallar, ya que tiene todos los poderes del universo dentro. Por lo tanto, si hay amor y crees que no hay resultado, significa que el amor no ha sido completo - así que completalo! ¿Cómo se completa? Al no esperar nada a cambio. Ser capaz de amar  es una bendición. Ser capaz de amar de verdad es su propia recompensa. Cualquier cosa menos que eso no es verdadero amor.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: I am a Catholic and am curious about some memories of the period before I was born. I was in a heavenly world with two entities which I recognise as coming from India, who were saying to me, “Please go down. You have an important project. You have an important mission.” Could You confirm, Swami, if this is just my imagination or if there is something more to it?

My second question is, sometimes in life, we are unable to decide and get confused. How can we reconnect with ourselves so that we can be certain on what decision we must take?

Finally, my third question is: Sometimes, although we love, the love has no effect, or we do not receive love in return. What should we do in this situation?

Swami: Memories of the past are definitely there. There is a role and a mission – and the mission is to set the religious thinking aright. Clear the minds of the people who follow it by telling them the truth and essence, and not getting entangled in the outer periphery, which you feel deeply from inside. In time, as the fruit ripens, it will fall itself; as the time comes, that is how it will reveal itself.

As far as decision-making is concerned, if there is any attachment, you cannot be clear, it will create confusion. A doctor will very easily be able to operate on a neighbour’s child, but on his own child, his hands will shiver. If you are attached to the outcome, you cannot make decisions. Only when you are detached can you can make the right decisions.

True love is that which does not expect anything in return. If there is anything expected in return, it may appear to be love, but it is not true. True love is so powerful that it cannot fail, for it has all the powers of the universe within. Hence, if there is love and you think there is no result, it means the love has not been complete – so complete it! How do you complete it? By not expecting anything in return. Being able to love itself is a blessing. Being able to love truly is its own reward. Anything less than that is not true love.
