Prestigioso festival de la cosecha de Kerala
“Onam” que marca el regreso anual del mítico emperador Mahabali, está de vuelta. Los devotos de Estado están en Prashanti Nilayam para celebrar los últimos tres días de la fiesta, Pooradam, Uthradam y Thiruvonam según el calendario vernáculo, en la Omni inmediata Divina Presencia. De acuerdo con la tradición de Kerala, Uthradam se considera como el primer Onam seguido por Thiru Onam o Thiruvonam, el principal día festivo.
Onam es el más grande y más importante festival del estado de Kerala, celebrado por todas las comunidades con los sentimientos seculares más allá de las fronteras religiosas. Es supuestamente el festival de la cosecha del Estado y se celebra con alegría y entusiasmo. Thiru Onam es el día en que keralitas, según la leyenda, dan la bienvenida a su antiguo emperador Mahabali, cuya historia está marcada con la historia del Señor Vamana. El emperador, evitando su ego, al regresar al mundo según la orden de Señor Vamana, fue bendecido para volver al estado una vez en un año con una gran ayuda, y este “retorno del emperador y preguntar por el bienestar de los subditos ”se celebra en todo el Estado como Onam, una celebración que se extiende por diez días.
Inicio del programa de tres días en la omnipresencia divina del Amado Bhagavan, floreció con dúo musical de las hermanas Mahalakshmi , Kum Parvathi Narayanan y Narayanan Pooja presentó una sesión devocional esta mañana en el Sancta Sanctorum en Prashanti Nilayam. El dúo abrió esta mañana con el ofrecimiento de obediencia al Gurú Primal, Señor Dakshinamoorthi cantando una estrofa de Dakshinamoorthi Strotram, seguido por números carnáticos de las gemelas, siguio un número a Jai Ganesh y el canto Vatapi Ganapatim ... y ... Nadatanumanisam
A medida que la sesión fluía, las hermanas cantaron durante la siguiente media por hora con gran vigor devocional presentando una mezcla de devocionales,

Amed Sai bhajans, Kurai Ondrum Illai ..., Onnu Thirujonnu Nokkane Swami en malabar, Shankara Nadasareera Para ... por nombrar algunos de ellos.
Ambalapuzha Pradeep en Violín y Thallaikkulangara P. Unnikrishnan en Mridangam, acompañaron a las hermanas esta mañana.
Cuando bhajans continuaron, los artistas, junto con acompañantes fueron felicitados y la sesión terminó con el Mangala Arathi a Bhagavan.

Kerala’s prestigious harvest festival
“Onam” that marks the annual homecoming of the mythical Emperor Mahabali is back. Devotees from the State are in Prasanthi Nilayam to celebrate the final three days of the festivity, Pooradam, Uthradam and Thiruvonam as per the vernacular calendar, in the immediate Divine Omni Presence. As per the tradition back in Kerala, Uthradam is considered as first Onam followed by Thiru Onam or Thiruvonam, the main festive day.
Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the State of Kerala, celebrated by all communities with secular feelings beyond religious boundaries. It is supposedly the harvest festival of the State and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. Thiru Onam is the day when Keralites, as per the legend, welcoming their erstwhile Emperor Mahabali, whose story is tagged with the story of Lord Vamana. The Emperor, shunning his ego, while returning to the neither world as per the command of Lord Vamana, was blessed with a boon to return to the State once in a year, and this “Return of the Emperor enquiring after the wellbeing of the subjects” is celebrated throughout the State as Onam, a celebration that spans for ten days.
Commencing the three-day programme in the immediate Divine Omnipresence of Beloved Bhagawan, blossoming musical duo Mahalakshmi Sisters, Kum Parvathi Narayanan and Pooja Narayanan presented a devotional session this morning at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. The duo opened up this morning with offering obeisance to the Primal Guru, Lord Dakshinamoorthi singing a stanza from Dakshinamoorthi Strotram followed by twin Carnatic numbers, a Jai Ganesh number singing Vatapi Ganapatim… and Nadatanumanisam...
As the session flowed on, the sisters sang for the next half-an-hour with great devotional vigour presenting a mix of devotionals,
