Por ahora, ustedes están reuniendo datos. Basados en eso, en el plazo de un año, un programa concreto será realizado. Los módulos de formación se pondrán en marcha y habrá un marco de tiempo para cada módulo de formación. Una vez que estos muchos maestros hayan pasado por un módulo de capacitación, deben probar y descubrir si han mejorado; Sólo entonces se les impartirá el segundo módulo de formación.

Esta definición de 'maestro' es sólo una comprensión general de lo que un profesor representa, pero el programa no puede ser lo mismo que esta definición. Esta definición es para la propia comprensión. In a Guru Vikas meeting held in the divine presence at London, UK, on 4 April, 2016. A Guru asked if there must be a time frame and syllabus set for the 'TEACHER' program.

And here is what Swami said:

Devotee: Just for clarification, with this Guru Vikas training program using the acronym ‘TEACHER’, should we formulate a syllabus with a time-frame for the course? So that, if we are offering it to the teachers, there is some idea of whether it is going to be over weeks or months. As in any other course, should there be a set time-frame? That was my idea, that we should have a set syllabus; otherwise, we have nothing to offer the teachers.

Swami: That will come much later. It is not time yet to frame a syllabus. You just want to know from the people, what are the problems and difficulties they are facing, how are they solving them, what is there opinion about spirituality, how much do they understand it and do they understand the concept of what a teacher is? You are only trying to make friends with teachers who you know and to understand what is going on in their school. Then, coming back with practical feedback and knowing how effective this program is going to be. What will be the obstacles? What are the easy things? What is the opinion of the teachers? For now, you are just gathering data. Based on that, within a year’s time, a concrete syllabus will be formed. Training modules will be rolled out and there will be a time frame for every training module. Once these many teachers have gone through the training module, they must test and discover whether they have improved; only then will the second training module be imparted to them.

This definition of ‘TEACHER’ is only a general understanding of what a teacher represents, but the syllabus is not the same as this definition. This definition is for one’s own understanding. Even if you follow the syllabus completely, the very first thing that they are going to see is you, not the syllabus. Through you, they will understand what you are trying to present. Unless you, yourself, are very patient, very compassionate and very kind, you will not be able to share this with others. They will ask you questions. Some of their questions might come across as rude – not the kind that you would like to listen to. They may doubt, they may suspect, they may question your intentions. You have to handle such situations very carefully. If you can do it with three or four teachers and work slowly, tomorrow, when you present it to a hundred teachers in a group, it will be easier to deal with the questions, because they will be more or less of the same types. Every country has a different culture, so you are just gathering information right now. All you have to do is sit down with the teachers and gather information.

“What is causing the difficulty? Do you understand your role? Do you understand that it is more than just giving academic education?” These are the kinds of questions you must ask. Soon, a questionnaire will be sent out about various things that you must address as you go to the schools. You will have various questions that you must find the answers for from people. This should form the basis of your work. This is right now, only gathering information for yourselves and, in the process, transforming yourselves, so that you are better human beings who can impart these values in a better way. You are only training teachers; you will not go to the children.

Guru Vikas is not about going to the children. The purpose is not to come up with something to educate the children, or engage them, or train them. You are only going to train the teachers. Tell them that this is how you can answer these questions; this is how you can handle these situations; and then, they will go and try to implement it.

They will also come back with feedback, such as, “What you say is good to hear, but very difficult to implement. These are the reasons…” Then, accordingly, you must find solutions. This is what you are going to do for the next one year.
