Una noche bañada de emoción envolvió cada corazón, con desbordante gratitud, en el último día del retiro en Kodai. A medida que los niños, jóvenes y ancianos de más de 20 países, cantaron y hablaron con el corazón, ni un solo ojo se mantuvo seco. El amor se estaba derritiendo y fluía como lágrimas de gratitud a través de cada ojo, que fueron testigos de este milagro de amor puro durante los últimos diez días.
Cada momento estaba impregnado con el más puro de los sentimientos, cuando un hermano emocionado, Sumeet Tapoo, cantó una canción en Hindi,
"Kaise Jiyun principal Tere Bin, Tu Jo Nahi Para Tere Bin Mera Jee Na Lage."
(¿Cómo vivo sin ti, porque mi corazón no encuentra reposo sin ti)
"Yeh Bhool Kaise Karoon principal Ke Bhool Jaun Tujhko."
(¿Cómo reparo este error de olvidaeme de ti)
"Gar principal Kahin Kho Gaya Büchi, Tu Dhoondh Lena Mujhko, Tera Mera Mera Tera Rishta Bana sabse Judaa."
(Incluso si me pierdo en el mundo me has encontrado, porque nuestra relación es única a todas las demás).
Cuando la canción finalizaba, empapados en lágrimas, Swami pronunció las palabras más bellas que he escuchado.
Swami dijo con una voz ahogada por la emoción, "La canción dice que incluso si me pierdo, que por favor encuentrame. Sí, puede ser que no sean capaces de encontrarme si se pierden, pero puedo encontrarlos. De hecho he encontrado cada uno de ustedes, que se había perdido y les trajo aquí. Viajé de casa en casa, de país a país, sólo para encontrarlos y los llevare a mí. Nadie puede entender el esfuerzo y el dolor que he llevado a cabo, para salvarte de apartarse de mí. Nadie puede entenderlo de verdad!"
Sí, he visto a Swami encontrar a su pueblo en las formas más singulares por todo el mundo. Muddenehalli, un tranquilo pueblo desconocido se ha convertido en un crisol de devotos y aspirantes de todo el mundo, sólo por sus incansables esfuerzos de encontrar a su pueblo y traerlos a Él. Soy el testigo más afortunado de este vínculo inquebrantable de amor puro entre él y su pueblo, durante los últimos 6 años. Es sólo por Su misericordia que Él ha traído a todos y cada uno cerca de él, para que no perdamos nuestra preciosa vida en búsquedas inútiles, en lugar de beber de la fuente el Purísima Amor, a sus pies.
De hecho, Él es el buen pastor que conoce a sus ovejas, y su rebaño y El conoce todos los asuntos de sus ovejas y cada cordero!
¿No es por eso que lo llamamos a él ... ... Baba Baba!
Kodai Retiro de Verano - 16 de mayo 2017
Una hermosa mañana brumosa dio la bienvenida a todos, y poco después del desayuno, los invitados y estudiantes se reunieron en el Salón Bhajan para la sesión de la mañana. Después de terminar las entrevistas de la mañana, Swami partió en su coche al Salón de Bhajans.
El Mangala Arati fue ofrecido a Swami, después de unos pocos Bhajans. A partir de entonces, todos los estudiantes e invitados procedieron a abordar sus coches y autobuses para hacer turismo y pasear en bote. Swami también se dispuso a realizar un corto trayecto en coche y pronto regresó, sólo un poco antes de las 1 p.m.
Por la tarde, dos estudiantes actuales de Bhagavan, Harikrishna Sridhar, que cursa su primer año en el Centro de Excelencia Humana, y Pranav Kashyap, de la Pre Universidad segundo año, ofrecieron a los Pies de Loto de Swami un ramo de Kritis y canciones populares de Carnatic, elevando los niveles de energía.

Cada día era un nuevo comienzo, algo diferente y algo espectacular. Jóvenes y devotos del Sai Ananda Ashram, de Malasia, prepararon amorosamente una ofrenda cultural para Bhagavan, y poco después de las entrevistas de la mañana, el Señor procedió a la Sala de Bhajan.
La Hermana Mathivani ofreció un recital de Bharatnatyam en alabanza al Señor Muruga. Después, se cantaron canciones conmovedoras, y Swami estaba muy contento con la ofrenda. Luego ordenó a un joven que hablara de su transformación, seguido de una charla del hermano Ayavoo Arumugam que ha sido la fuerza motriz detrás del Sai Ananda Ashram, junto con su esposa devota, la Dr. Vimala. Él compartió sus experiencias de los primeros días durante los años ochenta, cuando comenzaron las clases de Bal Vikas en un pequeño y destartalado templo. Hoy en día cuidan de más de 300 niños y jóvenes, y han sido una luz guía en sus vidas, ayudándoles a todos con la educación y la formación profesional.
Después de la conversación del hermano Ayavoo, Swami llamó a Dato Leong Meng, tambien de Malasia, pero establecido en Groenlandia, para dirigirse a la reunión. También habló de su viaje a Swami, y aunque quiso convertirse en monje, Swami lo había disuadido de hacerlo. El hermano Meng narró varios incidentes de la gracia de Swami ....

Un desayuno suntuoso y sabroso, entrevistas a devotos elegidos y Bhajans conmovedores fue la orden para la mañana. Después del desayuno, cuando el segundo grupo de voluntarios estaba listo para partir, Swami los llamó para una entrevista, antes de proceder al Salón de Bhajan. Después del Mangala Arati y el Prasadam, los estudiantes, el personal y los invitados procedieron a 'Marketing', la jerga de Swami para ir de compras. El Señor repartió amorosamente todos los sobres con dinero para sus compras y les advirtió que no regatearan con los encargados de la tienda tibetana, ya que eran refugiados y debían ser apoyados.
Por la tarde, alumnos y jóvenes presentaron un ramo de canciones. Una de las canciones ofrecidas en los Pies de Loto era acerca de Radha y Meera. Swami se dirigió a todos los reunidos, y preguntó cuál devoción era mayor entre ellas. Aunque muchos justificaron por qué Meera que Radha, más devota, Swami declaró que el amor y devoción de Radha a Krishna era mucho más que la de Meera.
Swami dijo: "La devoción de Meera no era menor. Meera no veía al Krishna físico en todos. Pero definitivamente, Radha tenía una ventaja por el hecho de que ella podía ver más allá de lo físico. Ella siempre supo que Krishna es el Paramatma. Para ella era muy fácil adorarle como Dios.
Pero para Meera, el niño que crecía en la casa de al lado, que le robaba la mantequilla de su casa, rompía sus macetas y la preocupaba de muchas maneras, verlo como a Dios....

Fue una mañana excepcionalmente fría, ya que todos, especialmente los estudiantes trataron de mantenerse calientes con otra capa de ropa de abrigo. Después de las entrevistas de la mañana, Swami procedió a la Sala de Bhajan. Mandó hablar al hermano Ashok Pai de Nigeria y compartir sus experiencias. El hermano Ashok es alumno de los campus de Muddenhalli y Prasanthi Nilayam. Él contó los días gloriosos como estudiante, más tarde cuando él entró en el umbral de la vida como un joven, y luego pasó a ser un banquero según Sankalpa de Swami. Narró algunos episodios que conmovíeron a su alma sobre su transformación personal, y cómo llegó a Swami en lo sutil.

Con un cielo despejado, el sol brillando dio la bienvenida a todos por la mañana. Afortunadamente, no hubo lluvias este año en Kodaikanal, que sin duda hizo la vida fácil para todos! Después de entrevistas, Swami procedió a la Sala de Bhajan, donde todos los devotos, personal y estudiantes se habían reunido para el Satsang de la mañana.
Swami llamó al Dr. Grish Malhotra del Reino Unido para que se dirija a todos aquella mañana. Un emotivo Dr. Grish habló acerca de cómo llegó a Swami hace 29 años, y narró muchos casos a partir de entonces. Él ofreció su gratitud a Swami profusamente, y le agradeció por ayudarlo en el viaje de transformación.
Swami en su discurso divino dijo: "Dejar el casa y el hogar, la esposa y la familia y huir a los bosques no es el camino. Si renunciamos al egoísmo en nuestros pensamientos, en nuestros sentimientos, entonces podemos verdaderamente convertirnos en un Tyagi, un hombre de sacrificio y un Yogui, un hombre de Dios. Esta es la palabra de Sai que dice esta verdad.
Desde tiempos antiguos, el concepto de sacrificio se ha asociado con personas que renuncian a la vida familiar, que renuncian a los placeres y comodidades de un hogar, que renuncian a las diversas conquistas mundanas y renuncian a todo en busca de Dios. Pero el camino de Swami no es lo mismo. Para Swami es, la cabeza en el bosque, pero las manos en la sociedad. Donde estés, sea cual sea tu profesión, ....

Era una mañana emotiva para todos, ya que diez días gloriosos con el Señor del Universo habían llegado a su fin, ya que era el último día, antes de la salida de regreso a Muddenahalli, a la mañana siguiente. Los alimentos para el cuerpo, la mente y el alma fueron abundantemente distribuidos durante los diez días.
Cuando Swami llegó a la sala de los Bhajan, hizo señas a Sri K P Gopinath para que leyera todos los nombres de los cocineros y otros que han sido la columna vertebral del viaje.
Swami bendijo a cada uno profusamente con Sus muestras de amor. Sri Gopinath está a cargo de todos los arreglos de comida, y Swami le pidió que hablara algunas palabras. Sri Gopinath, que ha estado viajando con Swami a Kodaikanal durante las últimas décadas, narró muchos momentos felices al corazón, ejemplos con respecto a comida y estudiantes en la Presencia Divina.

He finds His people!
An emotion drenched evening enveloped every single heart, with overflowing gratitude on the last day of the Kodai retreat. As the children, youth and elders from over 20 countries, sang and spoke their hearts out, not a single eye remained dry. Love was melting and flowing as tears of gratitude through every single eye, that witnessed this miracle of pure love for the past ten days.
Every moment was suffused with the purest of feelings, when an emotional Brother Sumeet Tapoo sang a Hindi song that went,
"Kaise Jiyun Main Tere Bin, Tu Jo Nahi To Tere Bin Mera Jee Na Lage."
(How do I live without you, for my heart does not find rest without you)
"Yeh Bhool Kaise Karoon Main Ke Bhool Jaun Tujhko."
( How do I make this mistake that I forget you)
"Gar Main Kahin Kho Gaya Bhi, Tu Dhoondh Lena Mujhko, Tera Mera Mera Tera Rishta Bana Sabse Judaa."
(Even if I get lost in the world you find me, for our relation is unique from all others)
As the tear-soaked song finished, Swami uttered the most beautiful words I have ever heard.
Swami said with a voice choked with emotions, "The song says that even if I get lost, you please find me. Yes, you may not be able to find me if you are lost but I can find you. In fact I have found each one of you who was lost and brought you here. I travelled from home to home, country to country, only to find you and bring you to me. No one can understand the effort and pain that I have undertaken, to save you from straying away from Me. No one can ever understand indeed!"
Yes, I have seen Swami find His people in the most unique ways from around the world. Muddenehalli, an unknown sleepy village has become a melting pot of devotees and aspirants from around the world only due to His untiring efforts of finding His people and bringing them to Him. I am the most fortunate witness to this unbreakable bond of purest love between Him and His people, over the past 6 years. It's only out of His mercy that He has brought one and all close to Him so that we do not waste away our precious life in futile pursuits, instead drink from the fountain of Purest Love at His Feet.
Indeed, He is the good shepherd who knows His flock and His flock knows Him and to Him every sheep and every lamb matters!
Isn't it why we go on calling to Him...Baba...Baba!
KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 16, 2017
A beautiful misty morning welcomed everyone, and soon after breakfast, guests and students assembled at the Bhajan Hall for the morning session. After finishing the morning interviews, Swami departed in His car to the Bhajan Hall. Mangala Arati was offered to Swami, after a few Bhajans. Thereafter, all the students and guests proceeded to board their cars and buses for sightseeing and boating. Swami also went for a short drive and soon returned, just a little before 1 p.m.
In the evening, two current students of Bhagawan, Harikrishna Sridhar, pursuing his first year at the Centre for Human Excellence, and Pranav Kashyap, from second year Pre University, offered at Swami’s Lotus Feet a bouquet of Kritis and popular Carnatic songs, elevating the energy levels. As they finished their programme, Swami beckoned a young student to bring the Prasadam for them, and spontaneously commanded him to speak. Bhargava Sai, was a little taken aback by the sudden command, but spoke confidently about how he came to Swami in the subtle, and recounted how he joined the Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence. Swami blessed Bhargav Sai profusely, as he offered himself at the Lord’s Lotus Feet for His grand mission.

KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 17, 2017
Every day was a new beginning, something different, and something spectacular. Youth and devotees from Sai Ananda Ashram, Malaysia had lovingly prepared a cultural offering for Bhagawan, and soon after the morning interviews, the Lord proceeded to the BhajanHall. Sister Mathivani offered a Bharatnatyam recital in praise of Lord Muruga. Thereafter, soulful songs were sung, and Swami was very happy with the offering. He then commanded a youth to speak about his transformation followed by a talk by Brother Ayavoo Arumugam who has been the driving force behind Sai Ananda Ashram, along with his devout wife Dr Vimala. He shared his experiences from the early days during the eighties, when they started Bal Vikas classes in a small dilapidated temple. Today, they look after over 300 children and youth, and have been a guiding light in their lives, helping them all with education, and vocational training.
After Brother Ayavoo’s talk, Swami called Dato Leong Meng, also from Malaysia, but settled in Greenland to address the gathering. He also spoke about his journey to Swami, and though he wanted to become a monk, Swami had dissuaded him from doing so. Brother Meng narrated various incidents of Swami’s grace... KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 18, 2017
Sumptuous and tasty breakfast, interviews to chosen devotees and soulful Bhajans was the order for the morning. After breakfast, as the second batch of volunteers were ready to depart, Swami called them for an interview, before proceeding to the Bhajan Hall. Post Mangala Arati and Prasadam, students, staff and guests proceeded for ‘Marketing’, Swami’s lingo for shopping. The Lord lovingly gave all, envelopes with money for their marketing spree and warned them not to haggle with the Tibetan shop keepers, as they were refugees and must be supported.
In the evening, alumni and youth presented a bouquet of songs. One of the songs offered at the Lotus Feet was about Radha and Meera. Swami addressed all gathered, and asked whose devotion was greater between them. Though many justified why Meera was greater than Radha, Swami declared that Radha’s love and devotion to Krishna was much more than Meera’s.
Swami said, “Meera’s devotion is no less. But definitely, Radha has an upper hand in the fact that she could see beyond the physical. Meera did not see physical Krishna at all. She always knew Krishna is Paramatma. For her it was very easy to worship Him as God. But for Radha the boy who grew next door, stole butter from their houses, broke their pots and troubled them in so many ways, seeing Him as God..... To know more, click HERE

KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 19, 2017
It was an exceptionally cold morning, as everyone, especially the students tried to keep themselves warm with another layer of warm clothing. After the morning interviews, Swami proceeded to the Bhajan Hall. He commanded Brother Ashok Pai from Nigeria to speak, and share his experiences. Brother Ashok is an alumnus from both the Muddenhalli and Prasanthi Nilayam campuses. He recounted the glorious days as a student, later how he entered the threshold of life as a youth, and then went on to become a banker as per Swami’s Sankalpa. He narrated some soul stirring episodes of his personal transformation, and how he came to Swami in the subtle. Swami beckoned his wife Smt Swati Pai, who is currently leading the Sevadals for the women, to also speak and share a few words about her journey of transformation. Truly, what Swami does, how He does, whom He calls, the circumstances He creates, is all beyond anyone’s mortal understanding!

KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 20, 2017
Clear skies with the sun shining brightly welcomed everyone in the morning. Thankfully, there were no rains this year at Kodaikanal, which certainly made life easy for everyone! After interviews, Swami proceeded to the Bhajan Hall, where all the devotees, staff and students had gathered for the morning Satsang. Swami called upon Dr Grish Malhotra from the UK to address everyone that morning. An emotional Dr Grish spoke about how he came to Swami 29 years ago, and narrated many instances thereafter. He offered his gratitude to Swami profusely, and thanked Him for helping him on the journey of transformation.
Swami in His divine discourse said, “Leaving home and hearth, wife and family and running away to forests is not the way. If we give up selfishness in our thoughts, in our feelings, then we can truly become a Tyagi, a man of sacrifice and a Yogi, a man of God. This is the word of Sai that tells this truth.
Since ancient times, the concept of sacrifice has been associated with people who give up the family life, who give up the pleasures and comforts of a home, who give up the pursuits of various worldly achievements and renounce everything in search of God. KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 21, 2017
It was an emotional morning for everyone, as ten glorious days with the Lord of the Universe had come to end, as it was the last day, before the departure back to Muddenahalli, the next morning. Food for the body, mind and soul was abundantly dished out during the ten days. As Swami reached the Bhajan Hall, He beckoned Sri K P Gopinath to read out all the names of the cooks, and others who have been the backbone of the trip. Swami blessed each one profusely with His tokens of love. Sri Gopinath is incharge of all the food arrangements, and Swami asked him to speak a few words. Sri Gopinath, who has been travelling with Swami to Kodaikanal for last few decades, narrated many heart warming instances with regard to food and students in the Divine Presence.
Sri B N Narasimha Murthy offered His gratitude on behalf of everyone gathered.
