La historia detrás de esta foto: Mandir Pradhakshinam.
Sai Ram. En esta foto, vemos a los estudiantes de Swami que salen después de hacer Pradakshinam (circunvalación) ronda Divina alrededor del Mandir, en Prashanti Nilayam, antes de salir a las aldeas para Grama Seva.
Esto me recuerda los buenos viejos tiempos, cuando los devotos estaban disfrutando de privilegios especiales y experiencias íntimas. Había sólo arenas. En el extremo lejano de las filas para el darshan, había céspedes y jardines. Fue aquí donde los devotos se sentaban en filas para sacar ubicación para la entrada a el darshan. Había otra cola en la arena para aquellos que deseaban entrar al Mandir para asistir al Omkaram y Suprabhatham.
Pero antes del comienzo de la formación de estas colas, todos los devotos se les permitió dar la vuelta Mandir. No hubo restricciones de ningún tipo. No hay restricción en el número de devotos, hay acuerdos separados para Caballeros y Damas, sin restricción de número redondo, etc. Todos los devotos se les permitía ir vueltas y vueltas al Mandir, hasta que la primera campana sonó indicando el tiempo de inclusión en Omkaram y Suprabhatham.
¿Y sabes, todos esos días, Swami estuvo viviendo en el misma Mandir! No es sólo dar la vuelta al Mandir. Los devotos estaban haciendo en realidad Pradakshanam alrededor de Swami mismo! Solíamos considerar este ejercicio espiritual como la mejor oportunidad otorgada a los devotos.

Sai Ram. In this photo, we are seeing Swami’s students coming out after doing Pradakshinam (circumambulation) round Divine Manidr, in Prashanthi Nilayam, before going out to the villages for Grama Seva.
This reminds me of the good old times, when devotees were enjoying special privileges and intimate experiences. There were only sands all over . In the far end darshan lines, there were lawns and gardens. It was here that the devotees used to sit in lines for taking out tokens for entry into darshan lines. There was another queue in the sands for those who wished to go inside Mandir to attend Omkaram and Suprabhatham.
But before commencement of forming these queues, all devotees were allowed to go around Mandir. There were no restrictions whatsoever. No restriction on number of devotees, no separate arrangements for Gents and Ladies, no restriction of round numbers etc . All devotees were allowed to go round and round the Mandir, till the first bell was rung indicating the time for entry for Omkaram & Suprabhatham.
And do you know, all those days, Swami was living in the Manidr itself! It is not just going around the Mandir. Devotees were in fact doing Pradakshanam around Swami Himself! We used to consider this spiritual exercise as the finest chance bestowed on devotees.
