Un Curso de Cultura India y Espiritualidad.

El Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Educación Superior, Campus de Anantapur, en colaboración con la Organizaciones Sri Sathya Sai Seva, Andhra Pradesh organizó un curso de tres días en la cultura india y espiritualidad para las jóvenes mujeres de Andhra Pradesh que concluyó el 17 de noviembre 2012.
De los 23 distritos de Andhra Pradesh, 160 delegados asistieron al curso junto con los 450 alumnas del Campus de Anantapur. La función inaugural del 15 de noviembre se inició con gran aplomo con una procesión hasta el lugar, dirigido por Canto Vedico, y la Banda de música cantando bhajans, etc
Dr. Seshadri Hiramalini, Consultor Senior, en Medicina y Reumatología presidió el acto inaugural junto con el profesor Shashidhar Prasad, Vicerrector de ISSSES, el profesor Dwaraka Rani Rao, Director del Campus, y Sri SG Chalam, Presidente Estatal de las organizaciones Sri Sathya Sai Seva de AP.
Oradores eminentes impartieron conferencias sobre diferentes aspectos de la tradición y la cultura de la India durante las diferentes sesiones. En la tarde noches se vieron los programas culturales de los estudiantes locales de Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas, y por los alumnos del Campus.
También hubo una exposición bien organizada titulado "Mujeres-los custodios de la cultura"
La función de despedida se celebró en la tarde del 17 de noviembre con el Juez Prabha Sridevan como el invitado principal.
Los delegados, en la sesión de retroalimentación, expresaron su alegría por el inmenso beneficio que se deriva de su estancia en los albergues de Sri Sathya Sai con los alumnos, siguiendo la rutina del Campus y el participar en el programa de tres días de duración.
Esta es la primera vez que los estudiantes y el personal del campus de Anantapur han organizado un programa y demostraron un profesionalismo y una dedicación tremenda.

A Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality

The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus, in collaboration with the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Andhra Pradesh organized a three-day course in Indian Culture & Spirituality for the women youth of Andhra Pradesh which concluded 0n 17 November 2012.
From 23 districts of Andhra Pradesh, 160 delegates attended the Course along with the 450 students of the Anantapur Campus. The inaugural function on the 15th November started with great aplomb with a procession to the venue, led by Veda chanting, Brass Band, bhajan singing etc.
Dr Hiramalini Seshadri, a Senior Consultant, Medicine & Rheumatology presided over the inaugural function along with Prof Shashidhar Prasad, Vice Chancellor of SSSIHL, Prof Dwaraka Rani Rao, Director of the Campus, and Sri S. G. Chalam, State President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, AP.
Eminent speakers delivered lectures on different facets of the tradition and culture of India during the different sessions. Evenings were set apart for cultural programmes by the local Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas students, and by the students of the Campus.
There was also a well organised exhibition titled “Women-The Custodians of Culture”
The Valedictory function was held on the afternoon of 17th November with Justice Prabha Sridevan as the Chief Guest.
The delegates, in the feedback session, expressed their happiness at the immense benefit they derived from staying in the Sri Sathya Sai Hostels with the students, following the routine of the Campus and participating in the three-day program.
This is the first time the students and staff of the Anantapur campus have arranged such a program and they demonstrated tremendous professionalism and dedication.
