Un divino advenimiento tuvo lugar en Puttaparthi, la Morada Divina en la Tierra en Prashanti Nilayam ... una encarnación de Shiva y Shakti, adorado ahora como Sathya Sai es Ella ... Quién ha venido a librarnos a ti y a mi ... Ella es la Shakti siempre presente dentro de todos nosotros, Quién responde a nuestra llamada de socorro ... Navarathri 2012 llega a su fin, miremos a través a nuestro Amado Bhagavan en su ilustre faceta como "Madre Divina", un artículo escrito por el profesor N Kasturi.


Escritura de Sri Sadguru Sai Baba, Hemadpanth escribe, "Sai Baba tenía el peculiar, desinteresado y extraordinaria Amor de la Madre; Su alegría no tuvo límites, cuando vio a Sus hijos hermosamente vestidos y adornados. Conocía las necesidades de sus hijos de antemano y tomó gran placer en el cumplimiento de ellos. "


Todos los que han venido a Sri Sathya Sai Baba, la actual manifestación de esa misma Madre, lo describirá a Él también con las mismas palabras. Cada devoto, sin importar la edad, se convierte en presencia de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, en un niño pequeño y, al igual que un niño se refugia en el regazo de la madre y solloza a ella todos sus miedos y preocupaciones, él también quitará sus problemas y lo consolará.


En el Markandeya Purana, la Devi se describe así: Durge smrthaa harasi bheethim asesha janthoh. "Si la recuerdan en momentos de dificultad, ella destruye el temor de todos los seres vivos." Todos sabemos que Baba sólo necesita ser recordado y Él se apresurara a miles de kilómetros en un instante, para socorrer y dar alivio. El verso continúa: Swasthaiah smrthaa, mathim atheevasubham dadaasi. "Si es recordado por otros, estarán libres del temor inmediatamente, Ella concederá la comprensión más favorable".

Los devotos de Baba ratificaran que Baba, tan pronto como ellos oran a Él, les da consejo directamente o, si están lejos, de manera indirecta pero claramente, en todos los problemas que se enfrentan, no sólo espiritual y mental, o físico, sino incluso social y doméstico . Volvamos de nuevo al Markandeya Purana. Allí la madre está de nuevo elogiada como, Daridrya dukhabhaya harini. Al igual que una madre cariñosa que ayuda al niño angustiado desde fuera de su tesoro secreto y lo guarda de la vergüenza y el deshonor, Baba también como todo el mundo sabe está salvando a muchos de su propia locura y la negligencia y los pondrá en el camino de la vida honorable. En la última línea de los anteriores sloka, La Madre es descrita por el Purana como, "llena de Misericordia." El poeta pregunta: Kaathwadanyaa sarvopakaarakaranaaya sadaardra chiththaa? ¿Quién más tiene el corazón, siempre derretido, por otorgar favores a todos? El Corazón de Baba, también, está siempre lleno de misericordia, no sólo para los que se dedican a Él durante años, sino para los que han tenido poco contacto con él, y los que le menosprecian. Su Karuna es el derecho de todos los seres y nunca se cansa de contar la buena noticia para todos. Él ha dicho tantas veces en sus discursos en Puttaparthi y en otros lugares, que nadie tiene por qué mirarlo con temor, o incluso lo alaban, con el fin de obtener Su Gracia, porque nadie teme a su madre, o se pone en la necesidad de alabarla con el fin de conquistarla a su lado. El amor de la madre es espontáneo e independiente de cualquier expectativa.



Madre de Todos...

Cuya
Compasión
es el derecho de todos...


En Tamil Nadu, Ishvara es conocido también como Thayumanavar, "El Que también se convirtió en la madre", porque en uno de Sus lilas, salvó la vida de una mujer y la ayudó a un parto seguro. La madre de la mujer, que la iba a asistir a ella, fue detenida por un río desbordado y el Señor, compadecido de la hija solitaria, abandonada, asumió la forma de la madre y asistió a la mano de obra, Él mismo. Numerosos son los casos en que Baba tiene, sueño, visión o materialización real de alguna forma, incluso los derivados Thayumanavar, actuó de forma similar y salvo a Sus hijos de la calamidad.


Hay que escuchar el consejo que Baba da a sus hijas e hijos sobre la elección de los compañeros de la vida, y, a las hijas, cuando proceden a establecer su residencia con su suegra, o cuando tienen bebés recién nacidos para alimentarlos y criarlos. Un argumento común que Baba usa para persuadir a la gente de posponer su salida de Puttaparthi viene a la mente en este momento. Se suele pedir a la señora de la fiesta, "¿Por qué no te quedas unos días más en la casa de su madre?" Y eso es todo! Uno se da cuenta, pues, que Él es la Madre de todas las madres, la Madre, que es Madre de todos los seres. La ternura, la compasión y el amor con el que Baba atiende a las necesidades de las vacas, los conejos, los perros, mascota, pavos reales, o los ciervos, los cuidados que necesita para evitar cualquier daño a los seres vivos es una lección para cada uno en el arte de la eficiencia la maternidad. Él es en verdad el amor maternal, encarnado. "Yaa Devi Sarvabhootheshu Mathru Roopena Samsthithaa".



Sai como la Madre Annapoorna (la Madre llena de comida)


Existe, por tanto, un significado especial en la celebración de Navaratri, en Prashanti Nilayam. Además del cumpleaños de Baba, las dos únicas fiestas que se celebran a lo grande en Puttaparthi son, Sivaratri y Navaratri, Baba es ambos Shiva y Shakti. Durante estos nueve días y noches, Él es Saraswati, que preside la Poesía, la Danza, la Música y el Teatro; Annapoorna, prodigando Annam (alimento) y Vastram (vestimenta); Lakshmi, otorgando bendiciones a todos los que vienen, y Durga, eliminando la falsedad, la apariencia y la maldad, destruyendo al búfalo de la pereza y al búfalo de la estupidez que nos ha dominado a todos. Permitamos a Baba, la Madre, nos bendiga y nos dé la Fe, Fuerza y Alegría.

An advent divine took place in Puttaparthi, the Divine Abode on Earth in Prasanthi Nilayam…an Incarnation of Shiva and Shakti, worshipped now as Sathya Sai is She…Who has come to set you and me free… She is the Shakti ever present inside us all, Who responds to our distress call…with Navarathri 2012 coming to a close shortly, let’s peep into our Beloved Bhagawan’s illustrious facet as ‘Mother Divine,” an article by Prof N Kasturi.

Writing of Sri Sadguru Sai Baba, Hemadpanth writes, “Sai Baba had the peculiar, disinterested and extraordinary Love of the Mother; His joy knew no bounds, when He saw His children beautifully dressed and adorned. He knew the wants of His children long before-hand and He took great pleasure in fulfilling them.”

Everyone who has come to Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the present manifestation of that same Mother, will describe Him too in the same words. Every devotee, however old, becomes in the presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a little child and, just as a child takes refuge in the mother’s lap and sobs out to her all its fears and worries, he too pours out his troubles and gets consoled.

In the Markandeya Purana, Devi is described thus: Durge smrthaa harasi bheethim asesha janthoh. “If remembered in times of trouble, She destroys the fear of all living things.” We all know that Baba need only be remembered and He flees thousands of miles in an instant, to succour and give relief. The sloka continues: Swasthaiah smrthaa, mathim atheevasubham dadaasi. “If remembered by others, who are free from immediate fear, She grants the most auspicious understanding.”





Devotees of Baba will endorse that Baba, as soon as they pray to Him, vouchsafes advice directly or, if they are far away, indirectly but clearly, on all problems facing them, not merely spiritual and mental, or physical but even social and domestic. Let us turn again to the Markandeya Purana. There the Mother is again praised as, Daridrya dukhabhaya harini. Just like a loving mother who helps distressed child from out of her secret hoard and saves it from shame and dishonour, Baba too as every one knows is saving many from their own folly and negligence and putting them on the path of honourable living. In the last line of the above sloka, Mother is described by the Purana as, ‘full of Mercy.’ The poet asks, Kaathwadanyaa sarvopakaarakaranaaya sadaardra chiththaa? Who else has the heart, ever melting, to bestow favours on all? Baba’s Heart, too, is ever overflowing with mercy, not only to those devoted to Him for years, but to those who have had little contact with Him, and even those who disparage Him. His Karuna is the right of all beings and He is never tired of telling the good news to all. He has said so often in His discourses at Puttaparthi and elsewhere, that no one need look upon Him with fear, or even extol Him, in order to earn His Grace, because no one fears his mother or is put to the necessity of praising her in order to win her to his side. The mother’s love is spontaneous and independent of any expectations.




In Tamil Nadu, Easwara is known also as Thayumanavar, ‘He Who became also the mother’ because in one of His leelas, He saved a woman’s life and helped her safe delivery. The mother of the woman, who was to attend on her, was held up by a flooded river and the Lord, taking pity on the lonely, forlorn daughter, assumed the form of the mother and attended to the labour, Himself. Numerous are the cases where Baba has, dream, vision, or actual materialisation in some form, even as Thayumanavar, acted in the similar way and saved His children from calamity.

One must listen to the advice Baba gives His daughters and sons about the choice of life-mates; and, to the daughters, when they proceed to take up residence with their mother-in-law, or when they have new born babies to feed and foster. One common argument that Baba uses to persuade people to postpone their departure from Puttaparthi comes to mind just now. He usually asks the lady of the party, “Why don’t you remain a few days longer in your Mother’s home?” and that settles it! One will realise, then that He is the Mother of all mothers, the Mother who is the Mother in all beings. The tenderness, sympathy and love with which Baba attends to the needs of the cows, the rabbits, the pet dogs, peacocks or deer, the care He takes to avoid any harm to living things is a lesson to every one in the art of efficient mothering. He is verily maternal love, incarnate. “Yaa Devi Sarvabhootheshu Mathru Roopena Samsthithaa.”





There is, therefore, a special significance in the Celebration of Navaratri, at Prasanthi Nilayam. Besides the Birthday of Baba, the only two festivals celebrated on a grand scale at Puttaparthi are, Sivaratri and Navaratri,for, Baba is both Siva and Shakti. During these Nine Days and Nights, He is Saraswati, presiding over Poetry, Dance, Music and Drama; Annapoorna, lavishing Annam and Vastram; Lakshmi, granting boons to all who come; and Durga, slaying falsity, pretence and wickedness, destroying the buffalo sloth and the buffalo stupidity that has overpowered us all. May Baba, the Mother, bless us and give us Faith, Strength and Joy.
