Sai Ram - ¿Hay alguna forma de escapar al destino?.



Una vez en Parthi una persona le preguntó a Swami: "Se menciona que estamos obligados por los actos de nuestro karma pasado, el llamado destino. ¿Hay alguna manera de escapar de este destino, sobre todo por la Gracia de personalidades divinas como Baba?"

Swami sonrió a la persona que había hecho esta pregunta y comenzó a explicarle. De hecho se convirtió en un discurso de una duración aproximada de una hora.

"Sí, no sólo el hombre, todas las creaciones en el universo, vuelve a nacer una y otra vez sobre la base de sus karmas pasados. La evolución se lleva a cabo sobre la base de su karma. Desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte, el hombre a menudo se complace en dushkarma (las malas acciones ) y tendrá necesariamente que pagar por ello a modo de retribución en un momento u otro.

No hay manera de escapar a los efectos de estos malos karmas, que actúan como suerte o destino predeterminado, es la causa de los nacimientos, el dolor, el sufrimiento, etc .
Si ha realizado buenas obras, se obtendrá una buena recompensas de estos buenos karmas. El hombre entonces es el autor de su propio destino, del cual no puede escapar "

"Dios puede elegir influir o suavizar el destino de un hombre, en algunas situaciones extremas. 
Él mismo decide cuando venir al rescate de las llamadas de los devotos, de un hombre que se arrepiente sinceramente, y se involucra en Sathkarmas(buenos karmas), anulando el mal karma. 
O, a veces Dios también puede hacer las cosas más fáciles o suaves, para que él pase a través de los sufrimientos, que ha de sufrir como resultado de malos karmas pasados. Mucho depende de los esfuerzos del titular. " 

Swami lo ilustra con un ejemplo:

"En un campo verde, inmenso, una vaca está atada a una estaca, con una cuerda de unos 100 metros de largo. El destino de la vaca ha sido predeterminado. Ella puede elegir pastar en un área circular de 100 metros de diámetro. Por un acto insensato, si la vaca decide caminar en redondo,  con mucha frecuencia, la longitud de la cuerda se reduce, y ni siquiera podra disfrutar de la zona asignada para el pastoreo. 
Por el contrario, si la vaca utiliza su propia fuerza para arrancar de raíz la estaca a la que está atada;... podrá llegar a un área mucho más grande sin ninguna limitación.  
Por lo tanto hay muchas opciones disponibles para la vaca, la elección de la opción por la vaca y los efectos de dicha opciones se convierten en su destino. 
Mediante el uso de su inteligencia y sus esfuerzos, puede superar el destino, o las limitaciones impuestas en el destino. "

"Del mismo modo, el hombre también puede modificar los efectos de la suerte destinada para él. Por llevar una vida espiritual no contaminada, puede limpiar su Chitha, su intelecto. Él entonces puede dedicarse al Nishkama" Karma ", actividades Sevas , que van más allá de sus propios intereses, sirviendo a las personas más allá de él o su familia. 
La recompensa de los buenas actividades, se empezarán a acumular en su cuenta, que poco a poco, borrarán los efectos de los errores del pasado ". 

Siempre hay que involucrarse en actividades o karmas 'Satvicos', actividades de servicios, una vida útil a la humanidad, y ademas orar a Dios. 
En estos casos, Dios sin duda escuchará sus oraciones y mostrara compasión, premiandolos con su gracia misericordiosa, para mitigar o superar el destino, al que los seres humanos están unidos en esclavitud "

Once in Parthi a person asked Swami "It is mentioned that we are bound by acts of our past karma, the so called fate. Is there any way for us to escape from this fate, especially by the Grace of Divine personalities like Baba?"

Swami smiled at the person who had asked this question and started explaining. Indeed it became a fulfilling discourse lasting about an hour.

"Yes, not only man, by all the creations in the universe take birth again and again based on their past karmas. The evolution takes place on the merits of their karma. From birth to birth, man very often indulges in dushkarma (bad deeds) and he will have necessarily to pay for it by way of retribution some time or other.

There is no way of escape at all from the effects of such bad Karmas, which act as the preordained fate or destiny, deciding the births, the pain, the sufferings etc. If there have been good deeds to his credit, he will get good rewards of such good karmas. In short man is the author of his own destiny, from which he can not escape"

"God may choose to influence or soften the destiny of a man but in some extreme situations. He himself decides how far He can come to the rescue of the devoted calls of a man who sincerely repents and engages in Sathkarmas. Or sometimes God can also make things easier for him to pass through the sufferings, which he has to undergo as a result of past bad karmas. Much depends on the efforts of the incumbent." Swami illustrated this with an example:

"In a vast slush green field, a cow is tied to a peg, with a rope of about 100 meter long. The fate of the cow is now fixed. It can choose to graze in a circular area of 100-meter diameter. By a foolish act, if the cow chooses to go round, round very often, the length of the rope gets reduced, and it cannot even enjoy the allotted area of grazing. On the contrary, if the cow uses its own strength to uproot the very peg to which it is tied down; it can reach out a much larger area without any limitation. Thus many options are available for the cow. The cow's specific choice of the option and the effects of such option becomes it fate. By using its intelligence and making efforts, it can overcome the so called fate, or the limitations enforced upon it."

"Likewise, man can also over come the effects of the fate destined for him. By leading a pure spiritual life, he can cleanse his chitha, his intellect. He will then engage himself in "Nishkama Karma" Seva activities, which will go beyond his self-interests and benefit people beyond him or his family. The rewards of those good acclivities will start accruing to his account, which will slowly erase the effects of past misdeeds".

Always engage in 'sath' karmas, engage in service activities, live a life useful to the humanity at large, and then pray to Him. In such cases, God will definitely hear your prayers and will show compassion and reward you with His merciful Grace to mitigate or overcome the so called fate, to which the human beings are bound in bondage"
