Por los últimos quince días más o menos, Parthi ha estado muy muy ocupado con muchos festejos en el Sai Kulwanth Hall.
Este fue un gran Gurupurnima, numerosos programas culturales por los grupos de visitantes de todo el mundo, los programas de los estudiantes de las instituciones de Swami y músicos de renombre también . Cualquiera que hubiera visitado Parthi durante Gurupurnima se sorprendió al ver como una gran reunión de devotos y la Presencia Divina de Swami se hizo sentir cada segundo, en cada pulgada de Prashanti.
Después de las celebraciones de Gurupurnima, un grupo de 1500 devotos de las aldeas vecinas, cantaron bhajans y rezaron pidiendo a Swami por las lluvias que se negaron desde hace mucho tiempo. El distrito de Anantapur, donde Puttaparthi está situado, es una zona afectada por la sequía y las lluvias son muy escasas. La cosecha principal de esta zona es de maní / cacahuete. Como cada año, este año también los agricultores, estaban listos para sembrar los cacahuetes, que suele ocurrir en la segunda semana de junio.
De alguna manera las lluvias estaban jugando al escondite con los pobres agricultores, y esto ocurrió en varias ocasiones y cada vez que esta espera va más allá de lo habitual, los vecinos venían a Swami suplicándole para que intervenga.
Este año es una situación similar en la que algunos de los agricultores ya sembró la cosecha de maní, o aun permanecen esperando la oportunidad para sembrar, pero todos ellos esperando una buena lluvia.
Su inmensa gracia y la compasión se sintió con una fuerte lluvia la noche del domingo (15 de julio). Esperemos que esto resuelva los problemas de los agricultores y también aumentar los niveles de agua subterránea, ya que las napas están muy bajas . Esta lluvia también significa un poco de agua en el río Chitravathi ..
Nuevos devotos:
Últimamente, una cosa increíble que uno está viendo en Parthi, es el aumento en el número de nuevos devotos. Por supuesto en la devoción no hay nada como los nuevos devotos o viejos , pero en este caso, me refiero a aquellos que no han venido a Parthi o no han visto la forma física de Swami. Después del Mahasamadhi de Swami, estamos siendo testigos de los buscadores espirituales más graves que llegan a Parthi con una meta definida. Todas las personas. Llamada VIP de la terraza, los devotos que harían lo que sea necesario para asegurar el lugar en la primera fila, tirando y empujando a devotos compañeros, los que estaban allí sólo para apoderarse de una solución ha su búsqueda de atención para resolver sus pequeños problemas, no están por ninguna parte, no se los ha visto. Recientemente, los devotos que visitan Prashanti parece ser muy tranquilos y serenos. Hay menos ansiedad entre los devotos, a nivel físico como la forma ya no está con nosotros y así no copan los caminos para tener una rara oportunidad de mirarlo.
Casi no se ve a nadie empujar o tironear en los pasillos del Sai Kulwanth. Este ambiente tranquilo también está atrayendo ha los tantos buscadores espirituales a Prasanthi, que quieren SAIlence (Silencio).
Exhortaciones divinas ... Un nuevo libro de PROF.ANIL Kumar:
En una nota diferente, el Prof.Anil Kumar, a lanzado su último libro Divinas EXHORTACIONES, en el Palacio de Congresos después de el habitual satsang dominical.
Este libro publicado por Sri Sathya Sai Sadhana Trust (Publicaciones), está ahora disponible en la tienda de libros del Ashram y muy pronto estará disponible en las tiendas locales de Sai Book Center.

JULY 15, 2012:FINALLY ITS RAINING IN PARTHI.

Thank You Swami!!!!! Finally Your blessings and grace are now POURING in the form of heavy rains in Parthi..
For the past fortnight or so, Parthi has been very very busy with so many hapenings in Sai Kulwanth Hall.It was a grand Gurupoornima, numerous cultural programmes by visiting groups from all over the world, Programmes by students of Swami's institutions and also renowned musicians. Any one who would have visited Parthi during Gurupoornima would be surprised to see such a huge gathering of devotees and Swami's DIVINE PRESENCE was felt every second, every inch in Prashanthi. After, Gurupoornima celebrations a group of 1500 devotees from neighboring villages came as a group singing bhajans and praying Swami to shower rains which were due for a long time. Anantapur District, where Puttaparthi is situated is a drought hit area and the rainfall is very scanty. The main crop for this area is peanut/ground nut. Like every year, this year as well the farmers were all ready to sow the peanuts which usually happens in the second week of June. Some how the rains were playing hide and seek with the poor farmers and this happened on several ocassions and every time this WAITING goes beyond control, the locals would come to Swami praying Him to intervene.This year it was a similar situation where few of the farmers already sowed the peanut crop and remaining were yet to sow but all of them waiting for a good rain.
His immense grace and compassion was felt with a heavy rain on Sunday night (15th July). Hopefully this will solve the problems of the farmers and also rise the ground water levels which was completely going down. This rain will also means some water in Chitravathi river..
NEW DEVOTEES:
In the recent past, one amazing thing that one is witnessing in Parthi is increase in the number of New Devotees. Ofcourse in devotion there is nothing like new or old but in this case New Devotees, i mean those that haven't been to Parthi or haven't see Swami's physical form. After Swami's Mahasamadhi, we are witnessing more serious spiritual seekers coming to Parthi with a definite goal. All those so called Verandah VIPs, those devotees who would go to any extent to secure the first row spot, by pulling and pushing fellow devotees, those that were there just to grab His attention seeking solution for petty problems are no where to be seen. In the recent past, the devotees visiting Prashanthi seem to be very calm and composed. There is less anxiety amongst devotees, on a physical level as the Form is no longer with us and thus paving way for a rare opportunity to look with in. We hardly see any one pushing or pulling in Sai Kulwanth hall. This quiet atmosphere is also pulling so many spiritual seekers to Prashanthi who want SAIlence.
DIVINE EXHORTATIONS... A NEW BOOK BY PROF.ANIL KUMAR:
On a different note, Prof.Anil Kumar released his latest book DIVINE EXHORTATIONS in Conference hall after the Sunday satsang. This book published by Sri Sathya Sai Sadhana Trust (Publications division) is now available in the ashram book store and very soon would be available in your local Sai Center book stores.
