SWAMI SE ENCUENTRA AÚN ACÁ EN MEDIO DE NOSOTROS
Desde que Bhagavan dejara Su cuerpo físico, la gente aquí en Puttaparthi ha estado experimentando más que nunca antes Sus milagros. Justo ayer estaba hablando con dos periodistas de Italia acerca de un milagro que sucediera recientemente aquí, en el hostal de nuestros muchachos más antiguos, en la enfermería. Este milagro no tuvo relación con ningún sueño. ¡No! ¡No fue algo que alguien simplemente imaginara! ¡No señor! ¡Aconteció! ¡Y sucedió justamente aquí! ¡Y fue muy real!
Hace sólo unos pocos días, yo estaba intentando dictar mi clase; mas los muchachos se mostraban alborotados y no podían dejar de reir y de bromear. ¡La alegría les iluminaba los rostros como un millar de velas! ¡Y como se sentían tan felices, no estaban de ánimo para prestar atención a mis lecciones! ¡No! Y pronto supe que no era únicamente mi clase la que estaba con estos ánimos. ¡Todo el campus estaba alborotado y excitado! ¿Por qué?
Cuando les pregunté a los muchachos qué estaba sucediendo, me dijeron que estaban excitados por un milagro que había ocurrido en la enfermería de la facultad, unos pocos días atrás. Todos los muchachos en la enfermería habían visto las huellas de Swami que llevaban a la habitación en que se encontraba un joven enfermo. ¡Todos concordaron en que eran claramente las huellas de Swami!
¿Ven entonces? Baba nos muestra que Él está aquí. Nos prueba que está en medio de nosotros. Entonces, ¿por qué en nuestra nube de ignorancia, tras de nuestra cortina de engaño, nos rehusamos a ver, a realizar y aceptar la verdad?
CONTINÚAN PRODUCIÉNDOSE MILAGROS PARA
PROBAR QUE SWAMI ES OMNIPRESENTE
Les relato esta historia verídica porque, crénme, estos muchachos que son todos candidatos a Maestrías y Doctorados, no son gente fácil de convencer. Podría fácilmente convencer a mi abuela acerca de que Él está entre nosotros, ¡puesto que ella ya está viviendo en un mundo de ensueño, un mundo de su propia imaginación! (Risas) Mas estos estudiantes no son fáciles de convencer. Y permítanme que les diga, cuando vieron las marcas de Sus pisadas, se emocionaron muchísimo. ¡Casi podían ver que Él estaba allí!
Él nos ha otorgado tantos milagros aquí desde que dejara atrás Su forma física. Cerca de un mes atrás, en el dormitorio de una escuela primaria, ocurrió otro milagro. En la mitad de la noche un chico enfermó, desarrollando súbitamente un fuertísimo dolor abdominal. ¡El dolor era tan violento que el chico casi no lo podía soportar! Estaba a punto de ir a despertar a una docente cuando súbitamente apareció Sathya Sai Baba y le dijo, "Querido, no te preocupes." Baba le dijo, "Tu profesora está muy cansada. No la despiertes. Deja que duerma. Yo estoy aquí para cuidarte. ¿Por qué tienes miedo si Yo estoy aquí?" (Aplausos)
Y en la Cantina de la India Sureña, por el lado de las damas, Baba nos ha entregado otro milagro. ¡Esto no es producto de algún sueño! ¡No! ¡Pueden preguntarle a cualquiera! En la cantina hay un gran retrato de Swami. ¡Vibhuti y miel han estado manando desde él por días! ¡Cualquiera puede verificarlo! Simplemente vayan y pregunten. ¡O vayan y verifíquenlo por sí mismos!
Es así que Swami comprueba Su Divinidad. ¡Nos está mostrando que sigue estando aquí con nosotros! Entonces, ¿por qué nos sentimos abandonados?
NUESTRA FE HABRÍA DE SER INCONMOVIBLE
Antes que Swami dejara Su forma física, creó muchos milagros por todo el mundo; mas hubo muy pocos milagros creados aquí en Puttaparthi. Cuando Él estaba aquí, no hizo milagros dentro de Prasanthi Nilayam. Mas ahora, ¡Sus milagros se producen aquí y dentro de los muros del ashram! ¿Por
qué?
Bueno podría haber dos razones para ello. Primero, los devotos de fuera (alejados de) Prasanthi Nilayam siempre han sabido que Baba estaba con ellos, y continúan no teniendo dudas al respecto. Su fe y devoción están profundamente enraizadas y por ello no tienen necesidad ahora de tales experiencias especiales. Ya son fuertes. Ya saben que Él está con ellos.
No obstante, tal vez en Prasanthi Nilayam la fe de los devotos ha sido sacudida por Su partida física, por Su abandono del cuerpo, por Su renuncia a la forma que habían dado por sentada y que les era tan familiar. Losdevotos extranjeros de fuera del país están acostumbrados a comunicarse con Swami sin la presencia de Su forma, en tanto que aquí no lo estamos. De modo que tal vez necesitemos de estos milagros, Sus milagros, como medicamento para recuperar nuestra fe.
La segunda razón por la que Baba puede estar creando milagros aquí, podría ser para estimular a los devotos a continuar haciendo la peregrinación para tener Su darshan. Por ende, amigos míos, continúen viajando hasta este sacro lugar. Continúen viniendo acá por Su darshan.
EL SAMADHI DE SWAMI ES FUENTE DE ENERGÍA DIVINA
Simplemente toquen el Samadhi con su frente, y entonces cuéntenme lo que experimenten. Necesitan experimentarlo. ¡La energía es increíble! ¡Busquen la experiencia del Samadhi, experiméntenlo por sí mismos, y verán! ¡Es una fuente de pura energía Divina, de Él hacia ustedes!
El Samadhi es un lugar que le otorga paz a todos. El Samadhi de Baba es un centro que recompensa y confiere dones a todos. El Samadhi cura y alivia dolencias. Su Samadhi nos entrega respuestas para todas nuestras interrogantes y soluciones para todos nuestros problemas. De modo que el Samadhi de Bhagavan es multidimensional. Por ello, me siento muy feliz que tantos de ustedes de Sudáfrica hayan venido acá por el darshandel Samadhi de Sai. El estar acá ahora es superior a lo que fuera antes. ¡De modo que les congratulo! (Aplausos)
Cuando Bhagavan estaba aún aquí en Su cuerpo, veníamos donde Él, porque Él nos quería acá. Ahora en cambio, están aquí porque ustedes oraron por estar aquí. Un devoto que haya orado por estar acá tendrá una experiencia mucho mayor que uno que haya sido simplemente invitado por Dios para estar aquí. ¡Dios les está dando prioridad ahora a Sus devotos! Cada padre tiene la esperanza que su hijo le siga. Estoy seguro que el corazón de Bhagavan Baba salta de alegría, al verles a todos ustedes acá en este momento. ¡Ruego por que Baba les conceda sus especiales bendiciones a todos y a cada uno de ustedes!
BHAGAVAN HABLA DESDE EL SAMADHI
Fue Shirdi Bhagavan quien dijera, "Desde este Samadhi, yo respondo a todas sus plegarias. Aunque no estoy aquí en un cuerpo físico, sí respondo a sus plegarias." También prometió que quienquiera que se entregara aÉl vería respondidas sus oraciones. Lo mismo vale para el Samadhi de Sathya Sai hoy día. Él espera aquí para concedernos favores, para recompensarnos y brindarnos paz. Espera aquí para animarnos, persuadirnos, consolarnos y apoyarnos. ¡Bhagavan está muy ciertamente acá!
LA VERDADERA NAVIDAD REPRESENTA EL NACIMIENTO
DE LA DIVINIDAD EN NOSOTROS
En esta Noche de Navidad, tengo una plegaria especial para Bhagavan. La Navidad no representa meramente el nacimiento del Cristo. No. La Navidad también alude al nacimiento de la Divinidad en nuestros corazones. La Navidad no es sólo una bendición para las familias cristianas. ¡Es una celebración universal! Es aplicable a todo individuo.
Hay muchos cristianos que han visto al Cristo en Bhagavan. Hay muchos cristianos que creen que Él era el Cristo, que Él era la segunda venida del Cristo. ¡Por ello, amigos míos, una bienvenida para todos ustedes ahora que se acerca la Navidad! ¡Me siento tan contento por estar acá!
Las celebraciones de Navidad se iniciarán mañana, y este año se extenderán por toda una semana. con cuatro programas que se cumplirán en el Sai Kulwant Hall. ¿Y qué nos muestra eso? Que las celebraciones son más ricas y profundas en su contenido, ¡y que la experiencia será más amplia y más profunda que nunca antes!
Sai está aquí, hermanos y hermanas mías. Sai está actuando silenciosamente. Sai nos está impulsando silenciosamente. ¡Sai, el testigo eterno, nos está guiando cada segundo de nuestras vidas!

With Pranams at the Lotus Feet of our most beloved Bhagavan,
SWAMI IS STILL HERE IN OUR MIDST
Since Bhagavan left His physical body, people here in Puttaparthi have been experiencing His miracles more than ever before. Just yesterday I was talking to two journalists from Italy about a miracle that happened here recently in our senior boys’ hostel, in the infirmary there. This miracle didn’t involve some dream. No! It wasn’t something that someone just imagined! No sir! It happened! And it happened right here! And it was very real!
Just a few days ago, I was trying to teach my class; but the boys were giddy and couldn’t stop laughing and horsing around. Joy lit their faces like a thousand candles! And as they were so happy, they were in no mood to pay attention to my lesson! No! And I soon came to learn that it was not only my class that was in this mood. The entire campus was giddy and excited! Why?
When I asked the boys what was going on, they told me that they were excited about a miracle that had happened in the school infirmary just a few days before. All the boys in the infirmary had seen Swami’s footprints leading into a room where a very sick boy was staying. They all said that these were very clearly Swami’s footprints!
So you see? Baba shows us that He is here. He proves that He is in our midst. So why then, in our cloud of ignorance, behind our curtain of delusion, do we refuse to see, realise and accept the truth?
MIRACLES CONTINUE TO HAPPEN TO PROVE SWAMI IS OMNIPRESENT
I tell you this story because, believe me, these boys, who are all Masters and PhD candidates, are not easy people to convince. I can easily convince my grandmother that He is still here amongst us because she is already living in a dream world, in the world of her own imagination! (Laughter) But these boys at the school are not so easy to convince. And let me tell you, when they saw His footprints, these boys got very excited. They could actually see that He was here!
He has granted us so many miracles here since He left His physical form behind. About a month back, in a primary school dormitory, another miracle occurred. In the middle of the night, a child fell sick, suddenly developing excruciating abdominal pain. Pain so bad that the child could not endure it! So he was about to wake up a teacher to get help when suddenly Sathya Sai Baba appeared and spoke to the child. “My dear, don’t worry,” Baba said. “Your teacher is very tired. Don’t wake her up. Let her sleep. I am here to take care of you. Why fear when I am here?” (Applause)
And over in the South Indian Canteen, there on the ladies’ side, Baba has given us another miracle. This is not the product of some dream! No! You can ask anybody! In the canteen, there is a huge picture of Swami. Vibhutti and honey have been pouring from it for days! Anybody can verify this! Just go and ask them. Just go and see for yourself!
So Swami is proving His Divinity. He is showing us that He is still here with us! So why do we feel abandoned?
OUR FAITH SHOULD BE UNSHAKEABLE
Before Swami left His physical form, He created many miracles all over the world; but there were very, very few miracles created here in Puttaparthi. When He was here, He did not create miracles within Prashanti Nilayam. But now His miracles are taking place here, and they are within the walls of the ashram! Why?
Well there may be two reasons for this. First, devotees outside (away from) Prashanthi Nilayam have always known that Baba was with them, and they continue to have no doubt about this. Their faith and devotion are deeply rooted and so they have no need for such special experiences now. They are already strong. They already know that He is with them.
However, maybe in Prashanthi Nilayam, devotees’ faith has been shaken by His physical departure, by His leaving the body, by His quitting the form that they took so for granted and with which they were so familiar. Foreign devotees abroad are accustomed to communicating with Swami without the presence of His form, whereas here we are not. So perhaps we need these miracles, His miracles, as medicine to restore our faith.
The second reason that Baba may be creating miracles here could be to encourage devotees to continue making the pilgrimage here to have His darshan. Therefore, myfriends, continue to make the journey here to this holy place. Continue to come here for His darshan.
SWAMI’S SAMADHI IS THE SOURCE OF DIVINE ENERGY
Just touch the Samadhi with your forehead, and then tell me what you experience. You need to experience it. The energy is incredible! Experience the Samadhi, experience it for yourself, and you will see! It is a source of pure Divine energy, from Him to you!
The Samadhi is a place that bestows peace on everybody. Baba’s Samadhi is a centre that rewards and confers boons on everybody. The Samadhi cures and heals ailments. His Samadhi gives us answers to all our questions and solutions to all our problems. So Bhagavan’s Samadhi is multi-dimensional. Therefore, I am so happy that so many of you from South Africa have come here for the darshan of Sai’s Samadhi. To be here right now is greater than it was before. So I congratulate you! (Applause)
When Bhagavan was still here in His body, we came to Him because He wanted us to be here. But now you are here because you prayed to be here. A devotee who has prayed to be here has a far greater experience than one is simply invited by God to be here. God is now giving priority to His devotees! Every father hopes that his son will follow him. I am sure that Bhagavan Baba’s heart jumps with joy, looking at all of you here in this moment. I pray that Bhagavan bestow His choicest blessings upon each and every one of you!
BHAGAVAN SPEAKS FROM THE SAMADHI
It was Shirdi Bhagavan who said, “From this Samadhi, I answer all of your prayers. Though I am not here in a physical body, I do respond to your prayers.” He also promised that whoever surrendered to Him shall have their prayers answered. The same is true at Sathya Sai’s Samadhi today. He waits here to grant us boons, to reward us, and to confer peace upon us. He waits here to encourage, cajole, console and support us. Bhagavan is very much here!
TRUE CHRISTMAS IS THE BIRTH OF DIVINITY IN US
On this Christmas Eve, I have a special prayer to make to Bhagavan. Christmas does not merely represent the birth of Christ. No. Christmas is also about the birth of Divinity in our hearts. Christmas is not merely a blessing on Christian families. It is a universal celebration! It applies to every individual.
There are many Christians who have seen Christ in Bhagavan. There are many Christians who believe He was the Christ, that He was the second coming of the Christ. Therefore friends, welcome to all of you as Christmas approaches! I am so glad to be here!
The Christmas celebrations will begin tomorrow, and this year they will be spread over a week, with four programs taking place in Sai Kulwant Hall. And what does that show us? That the celebrations are richer and deeper in content, and that the experience will be even broader and more profound than ever before!
Sai is here, my brothers and sisters. Sai is acting silently. Sai is prompting us silently. Sai, the eternal witness, is guiding us every second in our lives!
