Los días dorados de Ooty.
Los que estudiaban en la escuela de Bhagavan en Ooty (Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Nandanvanam, de Ootacamund) han tenido el raro privilegio de experimentar las famosas palabras de William Wordsworth: "Bienaventurados era, en aquel amanecer, de estar vivo y ser joven, era el cielo." Imagínese, el Señor mismo disponiendo su tiempo precioso, viajando a Ooty sólo para pasar tiempo con los más pequeños de su escuela! .
Estas pequeñas flores de su jardín ansiosamente esperan su llegada y luego brillan con alegría una vez que está en medio de ellos. Durante cada visita, Swami destinaba "tiempo especial" para sus hijos y estos períodos de sesiones se llenaban de hermosas interacciones y bromas, aparte de bhajans y, por supuesto Bhojan (alimentos). Y a veces, Swami visitaba todas las clases y en los días aún mejores iba a un picnic con estos grupos privilegiados de pequeños!
Por designio divino, aunque la escuela fue cerrada en Ooty en la década de 1990, los recuerdos sentimentales de aquellos días felices están siempre frescos en las mentes de estos pocos afortunados.
Y ahora, aquí, tenemos una oportunidad para percibir el sabor dulce que esos momentos generaban!.

The Olden Golden Days of Ooty.
Those who studied in Bhagavan's school in Ooty (Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Nandanvanam, Ootacamund) have had the rare privilege of experiencing William Wordsworth’s famous words, "Blessed it was in that dawn to be alive and to be young was very heaven." Imagine, the Lord Himself taking precious time out and traveling to Ooty only to spend time with the tiny tots of His school!
These little blossoms of His garden would eagerly await His arrival and then shine gleefully once He is in their midst. During His every visit, Swami would earmark “special time” for His children and these sessions would be filled with lovely interactions and jokes apart from bhajan and of course bhojan (food). And at times, Swami would pose with every class and on even better days go for a picnic with this small privileged lot!
By Divine design, though the Ooty school was closed in early 1990s, the soulful memories of those halcyon days are ever fresh in the minds of those fortunate few. And now here is a chance for us to get a taste of how sweet those moments were!
