Bhagavan personalmente bendijo la colocación de la piedra fundacional , y al finalizarse la obra, fue inaugurado por las manos divinas el 12 mayo de 1968. Bhagavân llamo al complejo con el nombre "DHARMAKSHETHRA".

Coincidiendo con la inauguración del Dharmakshethra, la primera Conferencia Mundial de la Org. Sri Sathya Sai Seva,  se llevó a cabo también en el Colegio Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan Andheri Occidente.

Durante esta conferencia mi esposa y yo, con nuestro de  3 años de edad Sri Venkatesh, y mi cuñado nos instalamos cerca de la sede de la conferencia.

Srimathi de Tara Prema Ashram, Thane y sus pocos seguidores también se estaban hospedando con nosotros.

Mi esposa tuvo un tiempo de prueba. Ella se cambiaba con frecuencia de lugar, con la esperanza de que Swami la mirara desde corta distancia. Durante los cinco días de la conferencia, nunca Swami la miro. Ella estaba molesta y enojado también. Tuvimos muchos problemas en nuestra familia, principalmente en el frente financiero, y ella esperaba que con el darshan de Swami ganará su gracia, y todos los problemas serian resueltos .

En el último día de la conferencia, nos decidimos a ir al Dharmakshethra. Después de un larga caminata desde la carretera principal, llegamos al   Dharmakshethra, pero Swami no estaba allí. Decidimos esperar. No había mucha gente alrededor. En un área remota un poco alejado del camino de entrada, había un terreno pedregoso, donde estábamos sentados, esperando a que llegue Swami. Después de algún tiempo, Swami llegó. Se puso cerca de la puerta de entrada. Mi esposa se ​​negó a correr hacia él, diciendo que Swami puede volver a evitarla.

Swami tomó una ruta para disuadirla y comenzó a caminar hacia el lugar donde estábamos sentados. El lugar estaba cubierto por piedras, era difícil de caminar sin un calzado.

Swami vino en frente de nosotros, y se quedó mirándonos con tierno amor y compasión. Mi esposa ya no pudo controlarse. Empezó a llorar, y dejo correr todas las emociones que estaba experimentando en los últimos días. Swami evitó la fila grande de los devotos, y Bhagavan estaba caminando hacia el lugar remoto donde estábamos sentados. Swami nos miró, y sonrió. Y entonces Bhagavan Baba pronunció, "Nee inime azhakoodathu, Amma". (Amma, en adelante nunca debe llorar)

Fiel a las palabras de Swami, nunca hubo una ocasión en nuestra vida para que ella llorara. A partir de ese día, empecé a prosperar poco a poco, y en pocos años pude incluso establecer una industria en Chennai. Swami también me bendijo con posibilidades de participar en diversas actividades de mega servicios.

Bhagavan personally blessed the laying of foundation stone ceremony, and ultimately it was inaugurated by the divine hands on the 12th May 1968. Bhagavan named the complex as “DHARMAKSHETHRA.”

Coinciding with inauguration of Dharmakshethra, the first world conference of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization was also held in the Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan College complex in Andheri West.

During this conference my wife and myself with our 3 year old son Sri Venkatesh, shifted to my brother-in-law ’s in Azad Nagar near the conference venue. Srimathi Tara from Prema Ashram, Thane and her few followers were also staying with us.

My wife had a testing time. She was frequently changing, her place hoping that Swami would look at her from close quarter. During all the five days of the conference, Swami never obliged. She was upset and angry too. We had lot of problems in our family mainly in the financial front, and she was hoping that Swami’s darshan will earn His grace, and all the problems would solved.

On the final day of conference, we decided to go to Dharmakshethra. After a long trekking from the main road, we reached Dharmakshethra, but Swami was not there. We decided to wait. There were not many people around. In a remote area slightly away from the drive way, there was rocky ground, where we were sitting, waiting for Swami arrive. After some time, Swami arrived. He got down near the entrance gate, and starting climbing up walking all the way. My wife refused to run towards Him, saying Swami may again avoid her.

Swami took a deterred route and started walking towards the place where we were sitting. The place was covered by rubles, and difficult to walk, that too without a foot wear.

Swami came in front of us, and stood looking at us with tender Love and compassion. My wife could no longer control herself. Started crying, over powering all the emotions she was undergoing for the last few days. Swami avoided her in the big crow of devotees, and but here Bhagavan was walking to the remote place where we were sitting. Swami looked at her, and smiled. And then Bhagavan Baba uttered, “Nee inime azhakoodathu, Amma”. (Amma, hereafter you should never cry)

True to Swami’s words, there was never any occasion in our life for her to cry. From that day onwards, I started prospering gradually, and in a few years I could even establish an Industry in Chennai. Swami also blessed me with chances of participating in various mega service activities.
