Según se ha informado, el Gobierno Estatal de Andhra Pradesh ha suspendido el subsidio otorgado al Hospital Prashanthigram, Puttaparthy. Hasta ahora el gobierno había estado cobrando 30 paisas por cada unidad de electricidad puesto que el hospital ha estado entregando tratamientos gratuitos. Sin embargo, desde que Swami dejara Su cuerpo físico ha habido muchos cambios en la opinión del Comité Central de Distribución Energética, por razones que sólo ellos conocen, y han recomendado suspender el subsidio y cobrar Rps. 6.- por unidad como tarifa comercial, y le han pedido al Fideicomiso Médico Sathya Sai de cancelar esta tarifa retroactivamente desde el 2009.

Resulta muy impactante y vergonzoso por parte del gobierno estatal de AP el imponerle la tarifa com ercial al hospital

De hecho, no ha habido cambios en los servicios gratuitos por un valor de cientos de miles de rupias, que se prestan a los pacientes, y este servicio gratuito continuará, puesto que Swami hizo todos los arreglos para proveerlo por mientras el sol se levante por el Este, y el único cambio que ha sido inevitable es el que Sweami haya abandonado Su cuerpo físico. Mas Swami sigue estando presente en todo lugar, en cada pulgada y en cada corazón, no sólo de Sus devotos sino en cada ser viviente, sin que importe su devoción, cuidando con bondad de todo el Universo.

Le corresponderá al Fideicomiso Central el indagar en este asunto de manera urgente y el hacerle presente al Gobierno Central que continúe otorgando el subsidio a la energía eléctrica, no sólo al Hospital sino que también a todas las instituciones educacionales y de servicio.

Resulta sumamente sorprendente que cuando X Y y Z están recibiendo enormes subsidios por diferentes vías, el Gobierno de AP haya suprimido el subsidio a los Hospitales.

Siento que sería apropiado que cada devoto le escribiera una carta al Primer Ministro de Andhra Pradesh, Sri Kiran Kumar Reddy, para que continúe con la antigua tarifa de 30 paisas por cada unidad de electricidad. Ejerzamos presión unidos sobre el Primer Ministro. Por favor, piensen al respecto

According to a news report the AP state govt has stopped the subsidy given to the Super speciality hospital,Prashanthigram,Puttaparthy.Hitherto the govt has been charging 30 paise for each unit of electricity as the hospital has been giving free treatment.But since Swami left his physical body there has been lot of change in the mindset of the Central Power Distribution Committee due reasons better known to them and recommended stopping of subsidy and to charge RS.6/- for eaxch unit as commercial tariff and asked the Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust to pay the commercial tariff from 2009.
It is most shocking and shameful on the part of AP state govt to charge commercial tariff for the hospital.
Infact there is no change in the free services worth lakhs of rupees provided to the patients and this free service will continue as Swami made all arrangements to provide free service as long as sun rises in the east and the only change which is inevitable is Swami leaving His physical body but Swami is still present every where ,every inch and in every heart of not only His devotees but also in every living being irrespective of the devotion looking after the entire universe with kindness.


It is upto the Central Trust to look into the matter urgently and represent to the state government to continue to give subsidy to the electricity not only to the hospital but to all educational and service institutions.It is most surprising when X Y Z are getting huge subsidies in different ways, the govt of AP has cut down the subsidy to the electricity to the hospitals. I feel it is better if every devotee write a letter to the Chief Minister of AP Sri.Kiran Kumar Reddy to continue the old tariff of 30 paise to each unit of electricity.Let us bring pressure on CM unitedly.Please think it over.
