Prashanti hoy - Celebraciones del Año Nuevo chino en la noche del sábado.
Cientos de devotos procedentes de cuatro países de habla china, Indonesia, Malasia, Singapur y Tailandia se sumaron a la celebración del Año Nuevo Chino, en el estilo tradicional de la santa morada aquí en Prashanti Nilayam.
El punto culminante de la noche fue la presentación de teatro sobre la leyenda de
Miao Shan, una princesa que renunció a las comodidades mundanas en búsqueda del
objetivo último de convertirse en un Bodhisattva.
La presentación por etapas por los jóvenes y niños estudiantes de Sai , Medan, Indonesia
basado en una adaptación de un folklore chino antiguo.
El drama destacó la evolución del hombre de lo humano a lo Divino.
Anteriormente, el programa se inició con el encendido de la lámpara por altos funcionarios de la Zona 4 de las Organización Sri Sathya Sai .
Siguieron ofrendas de manjares a los pies de loto de Bhagavan , seguido por un discurso de bienvenida por el coordinador del Año Nuevo Chino, el hermano Billy Fong de Malasia.
Frente a los devotos, Billy Fong habló de la gradual transformación de la civilización china,
que están cada vez más cerca de Dios, recurriendo a las oraciones, mostrando respeto a los padres, inculcando los valores humanos en la vida, gracias a la Divina Gracia del amado Bhagavan .
También mencionó cómo Bhagavan sembró la semilla de la transformación en él, durante el primer año nuevo chino festejado en su Divina Presencia, en el año 1997.
Siguió con una antigua oración tradicional china de gratitud, con la participaron de las mujeres en traje tradicional chino, con sus joss-palillos.
Ocho inmortales que representan la transformación del hombre a Dios,
en representación de ocho valores chinos, cantaron en el tradicional Año Nuevo chino la canción que habla de la importancia del Año Nuevo chino.
Aunque el canto y el comentario fue en 'latín y griego "para el montaje de la noche, su
ropa de colores y los gestos fueron muy indicativos, transmitiendo el tema a todos los presentes.
Al final de la presentación todos los niños participantes fueron felicitados con dones especiales. Bhajans tanto tradicionales como al estilo Prashanti y la adaptación de la versión china, continuó con plena devoción y fervor.
El Mangala Arathi fue ofrecido a las 18.30 hrs.
Prasadam fue distribuido a todo el público.

Prasanthi today- Saturday evening - Chinese New Year Celebrations
Hundreds of devotees from four Chinese speaking countries, Indonesia,
Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand joined together celebrating Chinese
New Year in traditional style in the Holy Abode here in Prasanthi
Nilayam.
The highlight of the evening was a drama presentation on the Legend of
Miao Shan, a princess who renounced worldly comforts in pursuit of the
Ultimate Goal finally to become a Bodhisattva. The presentation staged
by the youth and children from Sai Study Group, Medan, Indonesia was
based on an adaptation of an ancient Chinese folklore. Presenting the
story, the drama highlighted man’s evolution from human to Divine.
Earlier the programme commenced with lighting the lamp by senior
officials from Zone 4 of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations – Worldwide.
Offering of delicacies at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet was next, followed by
a Welcome Address by Chinese New Year Coordinator, Bro. Billy Fong
from Malaysia.
Addressing the devotees, Billy Fong spoke of the gradual
transformation in the Chinese Civilization who are becoming more
Godward, resorting to prayers, showing respect to parents, inculcating
human values in life, thanks to the Divine Grace of Beloved Bhagawan.
He also mentioned how Bhagawan sown the seed of transformation in him,
during the first ever Chinese New Year in the immediate Divine
Presence, in the year 1997.
Ancient Traditional Chinese Prayer of Gratitude followed, participated
by women in traditional Chinese prayer attire carrying joss-sticks.
Eight immortals representing transformation of man to God,
representing eight Chinese values, sang a traditional Chinese New Year
song on the significance of Chinese New Year. Though the singing and
commentary was ‘Latin and Greek’ for the evening’s assembly, their
colourful attire and gestures were quite indicative, conveying the
theme to one and all.
At the end of the presentation all the participating children were
felicitated with special gifts. Bhajans, both traditional Prasanthi
style and adaptation of Chinese version, continued in full devotional
fervor and Mangala Arathi was offered at 1830 hrs. Prasadam was
distributed to the entire audience.
