"El secreto de Swami es como el azúcar para las hormigas. ¿Crees que puedes ocultar la divinidad a la gente? Se manifestará. La gente se sentirá atraída ".

Vizag es otro testimonio del poder de la devoción que las personas tienen por Swami, que hace que algo sea posible.
Hace tres o cuatro meses, había una médico de Vizag que había servido toda su vida como médico, y ahora, al borde de jubilarse, vino a Swami y se ofreció diciendo:
"Swami, ya he hecho suficiente de mi trabajo". Tengo muchas ganas de hacer Tu trabajo. Por favor, llévame a Tu redil y haz lo que quieras conmigo ".
Se ofreció a los pies de Swami. Swami dijo: "¿Qué harías con ese hospital en el centro de la ciudad?
Hay demasiada gente allí, ruidoso. ¿Por qué no construyes un buen ashram en las afueras donde podamos llevar a las personas de las aldeas, a las madres embarazadas, a los niños huérfanos, a las personas mayores que no tienen cuidados y albergarlos a todos y cuidarlos bien?
Estaba muy contenta con la idea porque dijo: he estado haciendo cosas por mí misma durante tanto tiempo. Esta es una oportunidad donde puedo devolverle a la misma ciudad de Visakhapatnam (Vizag), que tanto me ha dado. Es un tiempo de recuperación para ella.
Entonces comenzaron a buscar tierra para el Ashram. Cuando estuvieron aquí, probablemente hace tres o cuatro meses, Swami dijo: "Voy a ir allí el 1 de noviembre para realizar el Bhoomi Pooja para el Ashram."
Sólo faltan tres o cuatro meses, pero aún me pareció un largo tiempo porque ¡Por lo general recibimos avisos dos semanas o una semana antes, para hacer las cosas de Swami!
Entonces, cuatro meses era mucho tiempo para ellos. Fueron y buscaron muchas parcelas. ¡La condición de Swami era que quería una parcela junto al mar!
Desde la parcela se debía ver el océano. Eso lo hizo aún más difícil. Se encontraron un terreno.
Estaban emocionados y vinieron a Swami, hace un mes, para preguntar si podíamos hacerlo allí.
Swami simplemente dijo: '¡Inténtalo!'. Él no dijo, ¡hazlo! Cuando volvieron se enteraron de que la tierra estaba llena de problemas. Había disputas judiciales. No había manera de que pudieran seguir adelante.
Los devotos enviaron un mensaje desesperado a Swami. Swami dijo: "Busca más cerca". Y luego encontraron algo cerca. Nuevamente se emocionaron y vinieron a Swami. Swami dijo: "Adelante. Marchemos hacia adelante. Su desesperación por llevar a Swami a Visakhapatnam era tan fuerte; estaban listos para ir si es nesesario a los confines de la tierra para que esto sucediera. Solo quedaban diez días. Intentaron hacer la documentación. Todos aquellos que han vendido o comprado una propiedad saben lo que mas les preocupa, es ir y extraer esos papeles escritos a mano en los polvorientos archivos del gobierno. Oficinas donde nunca se sabe si existe. ¡Es como encontrar una aguja en un pajar! Los devotos no son agentes inmobiliarios. Nunca habían hecho estas cosas antes. Pero Swami dice , Solo sube al árbol !! Y todos estaban trepando al árbol. Faltaban dos días y la documentación no estaba lista. Los abogados seguían pidiendo más documentos. Swami recibió un mensaje desesperado de los devotos. "Debemos proceder o no, porque existe la posibilidad de que alguien de la nada pueda venir y reclamar la tierra". Enviaron un SOS desesperado!
Incluso en una casa, hay que tener en cuenta la opinión de todo el mundo. De lo contrario, alguien estará molesto. Para conseguir que mucha gente se ponga de acuerdo en un solo pensamiento, es tan difícil. Es difícil incluso para cuatro personas estar de acuerdo en algo. Aquí, personas desconocidas que nunca han trabajado el uno con el otro, han sido reunidas por Swami en un grupo. De alguna manera, la gente dejó a todas las individualidades a un lado, dejando todas las diferencias de lado, abandonando todos sus desacuerdos. No me gustas, no te gusto, pero a los dos nos gusta Swami, así que vamos a hacerlo! Amamos tanto a Swami y así es como pasan las cosas.
Swami dijo: " adelante. Firma el acuerdo. Vamos a ver! Ahora, esa palabra de Swami fue un alivio, porque Él solo sabe si esto iba a funcionar o no. Conoce el pasado, el presente y el futuro. Él es el maestro del tiempo. Él lo sabe todo. Los devotos se adelantaron en contra de los deseos del abogado, pero supongo que la devoción se hizo cargo, y ellos firmaron el acuerdo.
El 1 de noviembre de 2018, como decidió, Swami puso la piedra de la fundación para el Ashram. El 31 de octubre, un satsang fue organizado en un lugar llamado Sujatha Nagar en Vizag, en el templo construido por la familia de un devoto y sus asociados cercanos. Mientras Swami entraba en el salón de oración, la energía era tan poderosa. Cuando Swami se levantó para hablar, su garganta se ahogó. Tenía un nudo en la garganta. Era tan emocionante. Por primera vez en la historia de todos los discursos que han sido dados por Swami en la forma sutil, experimenté algo como esto. Empezó el discurso con el poema consuetudinario y cuando terminó el poema, dejó de hablar. No le salían palabras. Y yo no sabía qué hacer porque no podía dar el discurso!!! Sus ojos estaban llenos de lágrimas. Su corazón estaba tan abrumado. Los devotos me estaban mirando a la cara porque sólo pueden ver mi cara!!
Y luego me dijo: " no sé lo que debería decir. Ustedes son toda mi gente! No he venido aquí para dar un discurso como en una función formal. Y se convirtió en una gran entrevista de grupo. Se estaba conectando con gente sentada incluso en la 10 ª fila y hablando con ellos directamente. La señora que estaba liderando el centro dio una hermosa charla. Se podía ver el entusiasmo, la asociación, el compromiso que tienen para con Swami. Todos ellos son sólo personas normales, no personas bien logradas, destacadas o reconocidas en la sociedad. Tal vez habrían venido en grupos como yatra(peregrinación) a Puttaparthi. No creo que Swami los haya llamado a una entrevista y les haya hablado de uno a uno. Sin embargo, su compromiso, su amor por Swami era tan alto que era una lección de humildad para mí.
Al día siguiente fue la Bhoomi Pooja. Swami había pedido a los organizadores que no invitaran a mucha gente y que lo redujeran a un mínimo. Cuando Swami llegó, había mil personas esperando! Habíamos planeado unos cientos de devotos 'disciplinados'. Pero había mil personas entusiastas, revoltosas, y locas (por Dios) !!! (risas) fue tan difícil de controlar.
Más tarde, durante el día, los organizadores dijeron, que no sabían de dónde vinieron estas muchas personas. Lo sentimos mucho por el desastre.
Swami respondió: " toma un terrón de azúcar y déjalo en el armario, y dile a las hormigas que no se lo digan a otras hormigas. Crees que eso va a funcionar?
El secreto de Swami es como el azúcar para las hormigas. Crees que puedes esconder la divinidad, de la gente?
Se manifestará. La gente será atraída.
Y luego Swami dijo: "¿Qué Dios ha hecho esto? La mayoría de los dioses ocupaban altos pedestales, en la cima de montañas inaccesibles y solo estaban listos para dar el darshan desde allí. Y solo depende del devoto tener Darshan, si puede escalar la montaña. Pero aquí hay un Dios que bajó de los cielos, fue de aldea en aldea, de calle en calle, de puerta en puerta y dio darshan a su pueblo. Es por eso que el Avatar de Swami es un Avatar muy especial, porque algo como esto, ningún otro Avatar ha hecho en el pasado, de ir y encontrar a su pueblo.
Si como físico, Swami fue de puerta en puerta, y eso fue especial, entonces lo que está sucediendo ahora, es aún más especial que lo especial. Porque, incluso sin el cuerpo físico, sigue yendo de ciudad en ciudad, de pueblo en pueblo, de aldea en aldea, para traerlos a su redil. "La cantidad de vidas que ha tocado, la cantidad de personas que ha ayudado, salvado, guiado, instruido, amado, bendecido, ninguna otro Avatar lo ha hecho en la vida. Ahora, más allá de lo que se puede decir de Su vida, Él continúa haciéndolo.

Vizag is yet another testimony to the power of devotion that people have for Swami that makes impossible happen. Three or four months ago, there was this doctor from Vizag who has served all her life as physician and now at the verge of retirement she came to Swami and offered saying, ‘Swami, I have done enough of my work. I really want to do Your work. Please take me into Your fold and do what You want with me’. She offered herself at Swami’s feet. Swami said, ‘What would you do with that hospital in the middle of the city. It’s too crowded there, noisy. Why don’t you build a nice ashram in the outskirts where we can take village people, pregnant mothers, orphan children, elderly people who have no care and house them all and look after them well’. She was very happy with the idea because she said I have been doing things for myself for so long. This is a chance where I can give back to the very city of Visakhapatnam (Vizag) which has given so much. It’s a payback time for her. So they started looking for land for the ashram. When they were here probably three or four months ago, Swami said, ‘I am going to come there on November 1 to perform the Bhoomi Pooja for the ashram.’ Just three or four months away, but still it looked like a long time because we get notices like two weeks or one week to do things from Swami usually!! So, four months was a long time for them. They went and looked for many lands. Swami’s condition was that He wanted the land by the sea-side! The land should oversee the ocean. That made it even more difficult. They came across some land. They were excited and came to Swami, a month ago to ask if we could do it there. Swami simply said, ‘Okay try!’ He did not say, do it! When they went back they learnt that the land was full of problems. There were disputes. There was no way they could go forward. The devotees sent a message in desperation. Swami said, ‘Look for more nearby.’ And then they found something close by. Again they were excited and came to Swami. Swami said, ‘Go ahead. March forward.’ Their desperation in getting Swami to Visakhapatnam was so strong; they were ready to go to any extent, to the ends of earth to make it happen. Just ten days left. They tried to do the documentation. All those who have sold or bought a property would know the pain of it, to go and extract those handwritten papers in the dusty files in Govt. offices where you never know if it even exists. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack! The devotees are not realtors. They had never done these things before. Swami was almost saying, you are a fish but it does not matter. Just climb the tree!! And they were all climbing the tree. Two days left and the documentation was not ready. The lawyers were still asking for more documents. Swami got a desperate message from the devotees. ‘Should we proceed or not, because there is every possibility that someone from nowhere can come and claim the land’. They sent a desperate SOS!
Even in a house, everyone’s opinion has to be taken into consideration. Otherwise somebody will be upset. To get many people to concur on one single thought, is so difficult. It is difficult even for four people to agree on something. Here, unknown people who have never worked with each other have all been put together by Swami in one group. Somehow, people plunge in keeping all the individualities aside, sinking all the differences, abandoning all their disagreements. I don’t like you; you don’t like me, but we both like Swami, so let’s do it! We love Swami so much and that’s how things happen.
Swami said, ‘Go ahead. Sign the agreement. Let us see!’ Now, that one word from Swami was such a relief because He alone knows if this was going to work out or not. He knows Past, Present and Future. He is the Master of Time. He knows everything. The devotees went ahead against the lawyer’s wishes who tried to talk profession, but I guess devotion took over and they and they signed the agreement.
On Nov 1, 2018, as decided, Swami laid the foundation stone for the ashram. On Oct 31, a Satsang was arranged at a place called Sujatha Nagar in Vizag, at temple built by a devotee’s family and close associates. As Swami entered the prayer hall, the energy was so powerful. When Swami got up to speak, His throat was choked. He had lump in His throat. He was so emotional. For the first time in the history of all the discourses that have been given by Swami in the subtle form, that I experienced something like this. He started off the discourse with the customary poem and as He finished the poem, He stopped speaking. No words were coming out. And I did not know what to do because I cannot go and give a discourse!!! His eyes were full of tears. His heart was so overwhelmed. The devotees were looking at my face because they can only see my face!! (laughter) And then He said, ‘I don’t know what I should speak. You are all My people! I have not come here to give a discourse like in a formal function.’ And it turned into a huge group interview. He was connecting to people sitting even in 10th row and speaking to them directly. The lady who was leading the center gave a beautiful talk. You could see the enthusiasm, the association, the commitment they have to Swami. They are all just regular people, not some well achieved, reputed or recognized people in the society. They would have perhaps, come in groups as a Yatra to Puttaparthi. I don’t think Swami would have ever called them for interview and spoken to them one to one. Yet, their commitment, their love for Swami was so high that it was a lesson in humility for me.
Next day was the Bhoomi Pooja. Swami had asked the organizers not to invite many people and to keep it minimal. When Swami arrived, there were a thousand people waiting! We had planned for hundred ‘disciplined’ devotees. But there were a thousand unruly enthusiasts, mad (for God) people!!! (laughter) It was so difficult to control them.
Later in the day, the organizers said, we don’t know from where these many people descended. We are very sorry for the mess. Swami replied, ‘You take a sugar cube and keep in the cupboard and tell ants not to tell other ants. Do you think that’s going to work out?’ (laughter) Swami’s secret is like sugar to the ants. You think you can hide divinity from people? It will manifest. People will be attracted.
And then Swami said, ‘Which God has done this? Most of the gods occupied high pedestals, on top of unapproachable mountains only ready to give darshan from there. And it’s only up to the devotee to have Darsha if he could climb the mountain. But here is a God who came down from high heavens, went village to village, street to street, door to door and gave darshan to His people. That is why Swami’s Avatar is a very special Avatar because something like this, no other Avatar has done in the past of going and finding His people. If, as physical Swami, He went door to door, and that was special, then what is happening now is even more special, special than the special. Because, even without the body He is still going city to city, town to town, village to village and bringing them to His fold.’ The number of lives He has touched, the number of people He has helped, saved, guided, instructed, loved, blessed; no other person has done it in the lifetime. Now, beyond so-to-say His lifetime, He continues to do so.
