En un satsang celebrado en la presencia divina en Londres, Reino Unido, en 04 de abril 2016; cuando se le preguntó ¿qué se puede hacer para prevenir calamidades, esto es lo que dijo Swami: 

Pregunta: Swami, cuando vemos las noticias y vemos lo que está pasando, parece que el mundo se encamina hacia su caída y autodestrucción. A veces, sentimos que no hay mucho que podAmos hacer, como individuos. ¿Qué nos aconseja hacer para tratar de evitar esta calamidad?

Swami: No se puede hacer mucho físicamente, pero siempre se puede rezar por la paz. Las plegarias tienen una gran cantidad de energía. Sin embargo, el proceso de creación y destrucción es una ley natural. A medida que pasan las estaciones, algunos sobreviven y algunos tienen que morir. No todo puede encajar en la nueva temporada. Del mismo modo, cuando los tiempos están cambiando, los que no encajan en la conciencia divina perecerán de alguna manera u otra. Question: Swami, when we watch the news and see what’s happening, it looks like the world is heading towards descent and self-destruction. Sometimes, there is not much we can do, as individuals. What would You advise us to do to try and avert this calamity?

Swami: You cannot do much physically, but you can always pray for peace. Prayers have a lot of power. However, the process of creation and destruction is a natural law. As the seasons pass, some survive and some have to die. You cannot all fit into the new season. Similarly, when the times are changing, those who do not fit into the Divine Consciousness will perish some way or the other. It could be a war, it could be a suicide or it could be a natural disaster. Some way or the other, nature will find a way to balance itself. That is a natural law. Results may be different, but the purpose for which it is happening is the same.
