En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en México, el 15 de octubre de 2017 cuando se le preguntó acerca de que sadhana o servicio los mexicanos deben llevar a cabo, esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Pregunta: Amado Swami, nuestros corazones te agradecen por visitar nuestro país. Te pedimos tus bendiciones para superar el gran dolor que los mexicanos están experimentando (terremoto). ¿Qué sadhana o trabajo recomendarías a los mexicanos durante este momento tan doloroso?

Swami: Sreenivas te ha dado la respuesta: dependan por completo de Dios. Un pájaro que se sienta en un árbol no le teme a su rama temblorosa moviéndose con la brisa, porque depende de sus alas y sabe que, incluso si la rama se rompe, puede aletear sus alas y volar hacia un lugar seguro. De manera similar, cuando dependes de Dios, tu propia divinidad se revelara en tu interior. Todo el dolor, los problemas y las tristezas desaparecerán. Desafortunadamente, entrenados por sus mentes, dependen demasiado de las personas y del apoyo externo, que es temporal. Tu amigo de hoy, podría convertirse en tu enemigo mañana. Por lo tanto, deja de depender de fuentes externas, y en cambio, depende de tu divinidad, de Dios, y Él se encargará de que pases por este momento difícil.

Tiempos difíciles llegan a la vida de cada persona, en cada familia, en cada sociedad y en cada nación. Tener fe en Dios y depender de Él, les ayudará a caminar y atravesar dificultades sin afectarlos, al igual que cuando usas zapatos y caminas por un camino lleno de espinas y piedras, sin que te afecten. Estos tiempos también pasarán. La mayoría de los países atraviesan problemas, porque durante demasiado tiempo, han dependido de cosas externas, buscando la felicidad y la paz, aunque ahora se dan cuenta de que no es el camino. Ahora, por compulsión, se han vuelto hacia adentro, porque es allí donde todavía no han buscado. Por pura curiosidad, vienen en busca de Dios y de cosas buenas, pero eso también ha sucedido por designio. Con la mano de Dios, lo Divino, todas estas nubes se irán.

Swami: Sreenivas has given you the answer: completely depend on God. A bird that sits on a tree is not afraid of its shaking branch swinging in the breeze because it depends on its wings and it knows that, even if the branch falls, it can take to its wings and fly away to safety. Similarly, when you depend upon God, your own divinity will be known within. All the pain, problems and sorrows will then disappear. Unfortunately, trained by your minds, you depend too much on people and support from outside, which is temporary. Your friend today, could become your enemy tomorrow. Therefore, stop depending on outside sources and depend instead on your divinity, on God, and He will see to it that you pass through this difficult time.

Difficult times come in every person’s life, in every family, in every society and in every nation. Having faith in God and depending on Him will help you walk and pass through difficulties without affecting you, just as when you wear shoes and walk on a road full of thorns and stones, without them affecting you. These times will also pass. Most countries are going through troubles because, for too long, they have depended on outside things, looking for happiness and peace, even though they now realize that it is not the way. Now, by compulsion, they have turned inwards, because that is where they have not yet searched. Out of sheer curiosity, they come looking for God and good things, yet that has also happened by design. With the hand of God, the Divine, all these parting clouds will leave.
