En un satsang celebrado en la presencia divina en Boston, EE.UU., el 13 de junio de 2017 un devoto busca bendiciones para su familia, ya que atraviesan un período difícil.
Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:
Pregunta: Comparado con todos los demás que hacen preguntas muy espirituales, tengo una pregunta bastante personal. Mi esposo estuvo en coma durante quince años y medio y cuando fui a ver a Swami, nunca dijo que lo curaría, pero siempre me dijo: "Espera, espera, espera". (Emocionada) hace 27 años, Tuve una entrevista con mi hijo. Estaba sujetando los pies de Swami y me dijo: "Espera, te daré prasad especial". No sé qué es eso, pero mi hijo está pasando por un momento muy malo. Es un milagro que hayamos venido aquí. No sé la razón y no sé lo que quiso decir, pero ha sido un momento muy difícil para mí. ¿Podría por favor arrojar algo de luz sobre todo esto?
Swami: ¿Hay alguien aquí que no haya tenido dificultades en la vida? Todas las personas tuvieron que sufrir en diferentes medidas. Ashashwatam duhkhalayam - el mundo es, por naturaleza, temporal y lleno de miserias. Es un mundo diseñado para no hacerte feliz. Todo es temporal. No se puede encontrar lo permanente en ninguna parte del mundo, ni se puedes encontrar alegría en ninguna cosa aquí. Tu has sufrido tu parte de ello. Todo el mundo está experimentando su propia parte del mundo - y eso es lo que hace que vengan a Dios; porque se dan cuenta del mundo y las cosas del mundo, incluyendo sus propias personas, y sus relaciones - sólo duraran un tiempo. Después de eso, ellos esperan algo más allá. Esa es la forma en que vienen a mí.
Si tu vas al médico, y él sabe que la enfermedad no se puede curar, ¿qué hará? Él te dirá, “Espera, espera. Voy a ver qué puedo hacer.” De eso es lo que se trata todo esto. Sólo puedo darles la fuerza para pasar por lo que tiene que pasar.
El nombre de Dios y el amor de Dios actuarán como los zapatos. Ellos le ayudarán a caminar por el camino de espinas. Ellos protegerán tus pies, pero no se puede evitar este camino, tu tienes que transitar a través de él. Tu serás capaz de seguir adelante con la fuerza de que Dios está contigo. Así es como se puede pasar a través de este período oscuro. Lo que tiene que pasar, pasará. ¿Cómo se acepta depende de ti.?

And here is what Swami said:
Question: Compared to all the others who are asking very spiritual questions, I have a rather personal question. My husband was in a coma for fifteen-and-a-half years and when I went to see Swami, He never said He would cure him, but always said, “Wait, wait, wait.” (Emotionally) 27 years ago, I had an interview with my son. I was holding onto Swami’s feet and He said, “Wait, I will give you special prasad.” I don’t know what that is, but my son is going through a very bad time. It is a miracle that we came here. I don’t know the reason and don’t know what He meant, but it has been a very difficult time for me. Could You please shed some light on all this?
Swami: Is there anybody here who has had no difficulties in life? All the people had to suffer in different measures. Duhkhalayam ashashwatam – the world is, by nature, temporary and full of misery. It is a world designed not to make you happy. Everything is temporary. You cannot find permanence anywhere in the world, nor can you find joy in anything here. You have experienced your share of it. Everybody is experiencing their own share of the world – and that is what makes them come to God; because they realise the world and worldly things, including their own people, relations – everything will last only so long. After that, they look forward to something beyond. That is how they come to Me.
If you go to a doctor and he knows that the disease cannot be cured, what will he do? He will tell you to, “Wait, wait. I will see what comes of it.” That is what this is all about. I can only give you the strength to go through what you have to go through. God’s name and God’s love will act like shoes. They will help you walk over the path of thorns. They will protect your feet, but you cannot escape this path, you have to pass through it. You will be able to go through with the strength that God is with you. That is how you can pass through this dark period. What has to happen will happen. How you accept it depends on you.
About your son, his misery is his own creation. With your husband, it is alright. There is karma that has to be paid. Your son’s misery, however, is his own creation. In time, you will understand what I mean.
