Nuestros hijos también son Divinos y debemos escucharlos.

En uno de los satsangs celebrados en la Divina Presencia en Singapur, el 23 de marzo de 2016, un devoto preguntó si los padres deberían enseñar a sus hijos pequeños que ellos son Dios.

Y aquí está lo que Swami dijo:

PREGUNTA: Swami, ¿deberíamos enseñar a nuestros chicos pequeños a creer que ellos son Dios desde temprana edad? Les ayudaría ésto a alcanzar la iluminación antes, o se darían la vuelta y dirían: “Yo soy Dios; ahora escúchame?”

SWAMI: Debes enseñarles que son Divinos, que su naturaleza es Divina, que en verdad son Realizaciones de Divinidad.

Hay una gran madre con el nombre de Madalasa en la India, que canta canciones de cuna – no ‘Twinkle, twinkle little star’ como estos días, pero con tanto significado: “Shuddhosi – eres la encarnación de la pureza; buddhosi – tú eres la encarnación de la conciencia; niranjanosi: eres la encarnación de todo ananda, dicha; samsara maya parivarjitosi: tú eres la que está desapegada de esta maya del samsara”. Este es el modo en que cantaba y ella hizo yoguis y thyaagis (del sánscrito: gente de sacrificio) con sus hijos, no con bhogis (del sánscrito: gente enferma) Ese era su poder, porque ella les cantó la misma canción una tras otra. Debemos cantar así.

Por casualidad, si retroceden y dicen: “Está bien, yo soy Dios, entonces escúchenme”, tu crees que son Dios, ¿verdad? Entonces escúchalos. De lo contrario, ¿cómo van a tener fe? 

Si dices: “Sí, eres Dios, yo te escucharé”, entonces dirán: “Mi padre verdaderamente cree que yo soy Dios, así que debo ser Dios”. Los niños pequeños, como la arcilla húmeda, pueden moldearse en cualquier forma que quieras. Puedes hacer un animal con esa arcilla o puedes hacer un ídolo divino; es tu decisión.

¿Se terminó? Si la clase ha terminado, entonces creo que debería hacerte una prueba ahora. Debo saber qué tan bien has aprendido, porque debes pasar. En tu promoción es Mi alegría. Todos ustedes, lo que sea que he dicho, tómenlo muy en serio, tómenlo con sinceridad y pongan sus esfuerzos. No escuchen por un oído y déjenlo salir del otro; no va a beneficiarlos a ustedes ni a nadie más. Piensa que todo lo que haya pasado ha terminado. ‘Ya no soy el mismo, he venido para este satsang. He escuchado el consejo de Swami; Lo tomaré en serio y lo seguiré. Entonces, ¿qué pasa si me caigo un par de veces? Si no camino, nunca alcanzaré la meta. Déjame empezar a caminar. Incluso si me caigo, está bien, me levantaré de nuevo y continuaré caminando’.

Ofrézcanle todo a Dios, pensamiento, palabra y acción, y con eso, estarán capacitados a alcanzar su destino, que es la Divinidad. Ustedes son divinos y nadie necesita darles ninguna prueba. Ustedes son Divinos, ya sea que alguien lo reconozca o no. 

Por qué no experimentan su Divinidad.? 

Es porque hay demasiadas cosas que no son tan Divinas en ustedes. Desháganse de ellas mediante la discriminación y el desapego, y entonces lo que permanecerá es su Ser Divino puro. 

Así es como pueden aprobar mi examen. Les daré todo el tiempo que quieran para pasar. No dos o tres horas; todo lo que quiero es un esfuerzo sincero. No quiero barriles de leche de burra, cantidad; Solo quiero unos pocos hombres y mujeres de calidad. 

Son suficientes para que yo pueda transformar al mundo entero. 

A través de ustedes, voy a transformar a los demás. Sean instrumentos de transformación, sean instrumentos de Swami, tengan la bendición de ser parte de una Misión Divina y hagan que cada minuto de su vida sea digno.

Small children, like wet clay, can be moulded into any shape that you want.

In one of the satsangs held in the divine presence at Singapore, on 23 March, 2016. A devotee asked if parents should teach their young kids that they are God.

And here is what Swami said:

QUESTION: Swami, should we teach our young children to believe that they are God from a small age? Will it help them to achieve enlightenment sooner, or will they turn around and say, “I am God; now you listen to me?”

SWAMI: You must teach them that they are Divine, that their nature is Divine, that they are verily Embodiments of Divinity.

There is a great mother by the name Madalasa in India, who sings lullabies – not ‘Twinkle, twinkle little star’ like these days, but with so much meaning: “Shuddhosi – you are the embodiment of purity; buddhosi – you are the embodiment of awareness; niranjanosi – you are the embodiment of all ananda, bliss; samsara maya parivarjitosi – you are the one who is unattached to this maya of samsara.” This is the way she would sing and she made yogis and thyaagis out of her children, not bhogis. That was her power, because she sang the same song to them one after the other. We must sing like that. By chance, if they turn back and say, “Okay, I am God, so you listen to me,” you do believe that they are God, right? Then listen to them. Otherwise, how will they have faith? If you say, “Yes, you are God, I will listen to you,” then they will say, “My father truly believes that I am God, so I must be God.” Small children, like wet clay, can be molded into any shape that you want. You can make an animal out of that clay or you can make a divine idol; it is up to you.

Is it over? If class is over, then I think I should give you a test now. I must know how well you have learnt, because you must pass. In your passing is My joy. All of you, whatever I have said, take it very seriously, take it sincerely and put in efforts. Don’t listen from one ear, and let it out from the other; it is not going to benefit you or anyone else. Think that whatever was in the past is over. ‘I am no more the same, I have come for this satsang. I have heard Swami’s advice; I will take it seriously and follow it. So what if I fall a few times? If I don’t walk, I will never reach. Let me start walking. Even if I fall, it is okay, I will rise again and continue walking’.

Offer everything – thought, word and deed – to God and with that, you will be able to reach your destiny, which is Divinity. You are Divine and nobody needs to give you any proof. You are Divine, whether somebody acknowledges it or not. Why you don’t experience your Divinity is because there are too many things which are not so Divine in you. Get rid of them through discrimination and detachment and then what will remain is your pure Divine Self. That is how you can pass My exam. I will give you as much time as you want to pass. Not two or three hours; all I want is a sincere effort. I don’t want barrels of donkey’s milk – quantity; I just want a few men and women of quality. They are enough for Me to transform the entire world. Through you, I will transform others. Be such instruments of transformation, be instruments of Swami, be blessed to be a part of such a Divine Mission, and make every minute of your life worthy.
