En Malasia este año un devoto preguntó Swami consejo para los jóvenes en sus amigos y la amistad: El polvo, en compañía de agua, va por el desagüe. El polvo, si se mantiene la compañía del viento, sube hacia el cielo. Sobre la base de qué tipo de compañía que buscas, que o bien subir en la vida, o bajar en la vida. Debe elegir su empresa con mucho cuidado. Los jóvenes son tan cuidadosos cuando quieren comprar un par de zapatos; usted irá a diez tiendas, acosar diez comerciantes, negociar y negociar y, por último, puede optar por un par o puede que no, y volver de nuevo al día siguiente para acosar a muchos más comerciantes! Dios capacita a Dios o las cosas de Dios. Debe seleccionar sólo aquellas personas y mantener su empresa. Si las amistades no le conducen hacia Dios, no ayudará a ser generoso, amable, compasivo y amoroso, entonces no tiene sentido; que no le queda. Es un tamaño de otra persona; deje que se vaya a ellos. Usted tiene que buscar el tipo de personas que van a ayudarle a ser más divina en su naturaleza. El hecho de que los demás parecen atractivas, son populares o tiene cosas interesantes que decir o hacer, que no van y se convierten en amigos con ellos. Es como comprar un par de zapatos muy caros, simplemente porque se ve bien, a pesar de que no le queda bien. Tienes que tener cuidado. Es necesaria la discriminación. servicio de Actualizaciones Red Nose Seva Todos los sábados alrededor de siete jóvenes argentinos hizo actividades de servicio que llevan trajes de payaso y dio dones a la medida de la edad de los niños y adolescentes, regalos incluyen pañales, ropa, juguetes, material escolar, libros y caramelos. If you want to buy a watch, you will look at a hundred models before you select one. If you buy sunglasses, you will put ten on your face and see how you look, and take advice and see more. If you are so careful in selecting what you want to use and where you are going to stay, how much more careful should you be in choosing the people who are going to define, change and influence your life? Put that much effort. Here is a simple formula: Will you waste money buying a shoe that does not fit you, just because it looks good? Will you buy a watch because it is beautiful, but does not work? Will you buy sunglasses that you think are nice, but do not fit your face? You are not going to waste your money on such things. You will not buy an oversized or undersized shirt if it does not fit you. What fits you is what you should take. What is your size? Your size is that of God. God fits God, or godly things. You must select only such people and keep their company. If the friendships do not lead you towards God, do not help you become selfless, kind, compassionate and loving, then it is pointless; it does not fit you. It is somebody else’s size; let it go to them. You have to look for the right kind of people who are going to help you become more divine in your nature. Just because others look attractive, are popular or have interesting things to say or do, do not go and become friends with them. It is like buying a very expensive pair of shoes, just because it looks good, even though it does not fit you well. You have to be careful. Discrimination is needed. Service Updates Red Nose Seva Each Saturday about seven Argentine youth did service activities wearing clown costumes and gave gifts appropriate to the age of the babies and teenagers, gifts included nappies, clothes, toys, school equipment, books and candies. They spent time with both children and their families. It is really important that the whole family receives love and support, so that the physical and emotional health of the children can improve. Narayana Seva Following the Divine Visit of Sai Baba the youth decided to organiseNarayana Seva with all the vegetables that were available. Eight devotees gathered to cook rice with lentils and vegetables. They prepared 30 packed meals and distributed to the homeless in the City of Buenos Aires. Northern California Youth Service is Divine - It makes Life Worthwhile Youth in the Bay Area had a beautiful experience doing the monthlySeva in November. The service started out on a beautiful day. As the winter sets in, it gets chilly and it starts raining, the youth decided to distribute blankets, socks, beanies and hot soup, they set out early in the morning at sunrise to help the homeless. As they reached their designated spot, the people who spent the cold night in just tents and tarp covers were pleasantly happy to wake up to hot soup. As the youth distributed the goodies, the friendly people also struck a heart warming conversation with the group.  On that particular day, it seemed more people were willing to talk. It was definitely Bhagwan’s miracle. One of them even gave a short discourse on Bhagavad Gita. He showed the picture of Lord Ganesha he carried with him all the time and explained about what Krishna had told Arjuna in Bhagwad Gita. The youth were left speechless at his knowledge and experience. En Malasia este año, un devoto preguntó a Swami para obtener orientación sobre los jóvenes y ancianos que trabajan juntos diciendo que los jóvenes a veces tienen grandes ideas para contribuir a la comunidad, pero a menudo no criarlos, porque tienen miedo de lo que dirán los ancianos. Swami dio esta guía: Ver, ancianos que opinan los jóvenes no se están involucrando, los jóvenes están diciendo whist ancianos no están ayudando! Lo que los demás puedan pensar, debe decidir que hacer lo que dice tu corazón. Si usted tiene fe en la voz de tu corazón, si alguien te elogia o te culpa, que apoya o desalienta, no se preocupe. Debe marchar hacia adelante. Por encima de todo, por cada pensamiento desinteresado, la fuerza más grande que tiene es que Dios mismo se ocupará de lo que se requiere. Al mismo tiempo, cuando se está trabajando en un grupo donde hay ancianos, jóvenes y niños, es su deber de informar a todos y buscar las bendiciones y la experiencia de los ancianos para que puedan ayudarle a hacer lo que quiere hacer mejor. El segundo campamento médico tuvo lugar en Marsiling (Singapur), y el campo médico más reciente se realizó en Hougang (Singapur) en noviembre de 2017. Habiendo nacido en una familia de Sai, Swami fue una personalidad que estaba 'obligado' a culto. Sin embargo, me gustó mucho Bhajans - cantando y tocando la tabla / dholak. In Malaysia this year, a devotee asked Swami for guidance on youth and elders working together saying that the youth sometimes have great ideas to contribute to the community, but often they do not bring them up because they are afraid of what the elders will say. Swami gave this guidance: See, elders are saying youth are not getting involved, whist youth are saying elders are not helping! Whatever others may think, you must decide to do what your heart says. If you have faith in the voice of your heart, whether somebody praises you or blames you, supports you or discourages you, do not worry. You must march forward. Above all, for every selfless thought, the biggest strength that you have is that God Himself will look after what is required. At the same time, when you are working in a group where there are elders, youngsters, and children, it is your duty to inform everyone and seek the blessings and experience of the elders so that they can help you do what you want to do better. They have already walked this path, and they know where the twists are, where the turns are, where the bends are, where the potholes are, and they can guide you so that you do not have to suffer. You should also encourage younger ones to come along with you. Seva is not to be done in compartments and fragments; everybody should come along. Take the blessings and experience of the elders, and take the help, energy and enthusiasm of the younger ones, and with that you should go ahead. It is not necessary that youth alone should do everything, but youth should lead the way, because they have strong body, sharp intellect and pure heart. They are the best to lead, like an engine pulls a train. Nevertheless, there is a role for elders to guide and encourage them and give them the right advice. You have to develop such good relations with all your elders. Many youths do not like this path. They do not want any elders to come here, they do not want to be told anything, they just want to do what they want to do. That is when the problem starts. You must all be involved.  Service Updates Medical Service in Australia Divine Mother and Child Service Youth from the Health in Kind Foundation conducted Divine Mother and Child Free health screenings and health education sessions in three locations across Australia: Tweed, New South Wales Melbourne, Victoria Perth, Western Australia In Tweed, New South Wales, Health in kind youth were invited to provide health checks at the Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Free health checks were provided to mothers and children on that day. The following week on November 6, 2017 Health in Kind was invited to Healthy Jarjums Day. This session was held for the mums and bubs of the Guyahyn Aboriginal Playgroup. Blood Drive in Fiji (Suva) Be a Hero, Save Three Lives! As part of their “Be a Hero Campaign” which involves facilitating the collection of blood at various locations around Fiji, the youth of Sai Prema Foundation embarked on yet another journey to collect some much needed “liquid love” - blood. The youth teamed up with the Fiji National Blood Services Department from the Ministry of Health and conducted a day long blood drive on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Tappoocity Centre, in the heart of Suva, Fiji. Medical Service in Singapore Divine Mother and Child Service Youth have been organising medical camps on the first Saturday of every month to cater to the health needs of children from underprivileged backgrounds. The inaugural camp took place in September 2017 at Chai Chee (Singapore). The second medical camp took place at Marsiling (Singapore), and the most recent medical camp was held at Hougang (Singapore) in November 2017. For the Marsiling camp, two main events were organised for the children and their families: a medical check-up and a health carnival. The health carnival consisted of educational games to teach children healthcare habits that focused on basic hygiene, exercise, and eye care. A food station was also set up for both the children and their families, so that no one went hungry during the camp. In addition, an arts and crafts station was set up to allow the children to paint, draw, and simply have fun. Having been born in to a Sai family, Swami was a personality I was ‘forced’ to worship. However, I really enjoyed Bhajans – singing and playing tabla/dholak. Growing up in Australia, in the western society, worship of a ‘human’ was deemed as absurd. So naturally in my teenage years, I had totally forsaken Swami.
