" Qué le vamos a decir al mundo acerca de cómo hemos usado esta oportunidad de estar en la proximidad del Avatar?"

Creo que eran 2006 o 2007, me invitaron a hablar en Malleshwaram Samithi(Centro Sai) en la calle Sampige (en Bangalore). Nuestro Shiv Subramaniam fue uno de los organizadores. No estaba muy interesado en hablar de lo que Swami había hecho porque por más que repita o hable de Èl, no iba a hacer justicia a lo que es en realidad. Aún estaría rozando la superficie, incluso si contara cuántos milagros ha realizado, cuántas personas ha salvado, cuántas transformaciones ha generado.

No había preparado ningún discurso, no pude. Pero recé a Swami para que hablara a través de mí. No recuerdo gran parte del discurso. Habré hablado durante más de 45 minutos a una hora. Lo único que recuerdo de lo que había hablado fue, Swami ha venido, nos llevó a tantos de nosotros tan cerca de Èl y realmente, si todos vemos en nuestras propias vidas, ninguno de nosotros puede poner su mano sobre nuestro pecho y decir merecíamos esta oportunidad, y tendríamos que haber recibido esta oportunidad. Ninguno de nosotros puede decir eso porque es su compasión, la que dio la oportunidad, por cualquier razón que sea. 

Las escrituras lo describen como "Ahetuka daya sindhu", el que recibe su compasión sin ninguna razón. 

Así es como Swami ha sido y sigue siendo el mismo. 

Les dije a los devotos entonces, Swami nos ha dado todo sin que lo merezcamos. Sin embargo, se le dio sólo unos pocos 7.2 mil millones hoy (alrededor de 6.5 mil millones) en la tierra, pocos millones tienen esta oportunidad de estar cerca de él, para realmente verlo con sus propios ojos, para tocarlo, escucharlo y hablar con él o estar con él en estrecha proximidad y disfrutar de todo el amor divino que de otro modo es incomprensible. 

Qué gran responsabilidad recae sobre nuestros hombros como devotos porque mañana Swami no estará allí, en algún momento en el tiempo seguro, pero todos vamos a estar allí por ahí. Y el mundo nos va a preguntar que es estar en la proximidad, en presencia de Dios, habiendo recibido tantas cosas de él en términos de estas oportunidades y orientación, qué es lo que nos vino a enseñar, a darnos, a ayudarnos , porque no tuvimos esta gran fortuna de estar con Swami, y estar con el Avatar. 

No nos llamó por ninguna razón. Ustedes son los afortunados que recibieron esta gracia. Entonces, qué es lo que vas a decir, es la pregunta que he presentado a la augusta asamblea de devotos de Malleshwaram. He dicho que definitivamente es hora de pasar de los derechos a las responsabilidades y este es el momento.

 Un día vendrá cuando el mundo nos cuestione: " qué has hecho en realidad habiendo recibido la oportunidad de estar con Dios mismo. 

Esta es la pregunta más importante en mi mente. Obviamente, cuando la compartí con ellos, pensé que había puesto a un montón de gente a pensar en esto. 

Porque, la mayoría de los satsangs desde un lunes en particular en 1943, estábamos en la línea darshan y esto es lo que pasó. En 1968, mi abuelo y mi abuela fueron y esto es lo que pasó. Durante 40 años, pueden seguir diciendo lo que Swami ha hecho por ellos. Pero es muy difícil decir lo que ellos han hecho por Swami en esos 40 años. Mi pregunta fue qué le vamos a decir al mundo, cómo hemos usado esta oportunidad?

"What are we going to tell the world about how we used this opportunity of being in the close proximity of the Avatar?"

I think it was 2006 or 2007, I was invited to speak at Malleshwaram Samithi on Sampige Road (in Bangalore). Our Shiv Subramaniam was one of the organizers. I was not very keen on speaking about what Swami had done because any amount of repeating or talking about Him was not going to do any justice to what He is. It would still be just skimming the surface, even if I go on telling how many miracles He has performed, how many people He has saved, how many transformations He has brought about.

I did not prepare any speech, I could not. But prayed to Swami to speak through me. I don't remember much of the speech. I would have spoken for over 45 mins to an hour. The only thing that I remember that I spoke about was, Swami has come, He took so many of us so close to Himself and truly if we all look into our own lives, none of us can put our hand over on our chests and say we deserved this chance, we were worth this chance and we ought to have received this opportunity. None of us can say that because it is His compassion out of which He gave an opportunity for whatever reason. As scriptures describe Him as "Ahetuka Daya Sindhu", the one who showers His compassion without any reason. That is how Swami has been and He continues to be the same. I told the devotees then, Swami has given us everything without our deserving any of it. However, it was given to only few out of 7.2 billion today (about 6.5 billion then) on earth, few millions got this opportunity to come close to Him, to really see Him with their own eyes, to touch Him, to hear and talk to Him or to be with Him in close proximity and enjoy all the Divine love which otherwise is incomprehensible. What a great responsibility it is on our shoulders as devotees because tomorrow Swami would not be there at some point in time for sure, but we will all be there around still. And the world will ask us that being in the proximity, in the presence of God, having received so many things from Him in terms of these opportunities and guidance, what is it that you are going to teach us, give us, help us with, because we did not have this great fortune of being with Swami, being with the Avatar. He did not call us for whatever reason. You are the fortunate ones who received this grace. So what is that you are going to tell, is the question that I put forth to the august assembly of devotees of Malleshwaram. I said, its definitely time to move from rights to responsibilities and this is the time. A day will come when the world will question us, ‘what have you really done having received the opportunity of being with God Himself’. This is the question which was uppermost in my mind. Obviously when I shared with them I thought I set a lot of people thinking about this. Because, most of the Satsangs are about, in 1943 on a particular Monday, we were in darshan line and this is what happened. In 1968, my grandfather and grandmother went and this is what happened. For 40 years, they can go on saying what Swami has done for them. Very difficult to say what they have done for Swami in those 40 years. My question was what are we going to tell the world how we used this opportunity? What we did about it?
