En una de los Satsangs celebrados en la presencia divina en Turín, Italia, el 16 de abril de 2015. Un devoto busca orientación sobre el avance espiritual. 

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

PREGUNTA: Tratamos de leer el Bhagavad-Gita para desarrollar el conocimiento. Si recuerdo bien, el capítulo 10 y 11 del Bhagavad Gita habla de maestros. Me gustaría saber algunas de las enseñanzas que nos permitirán avanzar espiritualmente. 

SWAMI: Si se viaja desde Bangalore a Puttaparthi, en el camino, verá Chikballapur. Si Chikballapur no llega, significa que no está en el camino correcto. Del mismo modo, cuando viaja hacia Dios y están creciendo espiritualmente, ciertos destinos llegaran. 

En primer lugar, la humildad llegará. Entonces, el amor por todo el mundo llegará. A continuación, un sentido de sacrificio llegara, para sacrificar todo por el bien de los demás. El destino final es la paz y la felicidad. Se inicia con la humildad y termina con la paz. Por lo tanto, tiene que observar continuamente en si mismo, si estos destinos están llegando o no. La autoconfianza es lo primero, que es como el cimiento. El auto-sacrificio son las paredes. La auto-satisfacción es el techo. El que reside en el interior es la auto-realización. 

En primer lugar, se desarrollará tremenda humildad que llega a usted con la fe de que Dios es el hacedor de todo. La autoconfianza es la confianza en su Ser Divino. Por lo tanto, el primer destino es esta confianza que traerá la humildad. A medida que avance, debe comprobar por sí mismo, si estas estaciones están llegando o no. Si estos destinos no llegan durante el camino, significa que el tren no está en movimiento o que están en el tren equivocado.

QUESTION: We tried reading the Bhagawad-Gita to develop knowledge. If I remember well, the 10th and 11th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita talk about masters. I would like to know some teachings that will enable us to advance higher spiritually.

SWAMI: If you travel from Bangalore to Puttaparthi, on the way, you will see Chikballapur. If Chikballapur does not come, it means you are not on the right road. Likewise, when you travel towards God and you are growing spiritually, certain destinations will come.

First, humility will come. Then, love for everyone will come. Then, a sense of sacrifice will come, to sacrifice everything for others’ sake. The final destination is peace and bliss. It starts with humility and ends with peace. Therefore, you must continuously ask yourself whether these destinations are coming or not. Self-confidence comes first, which is like the foundation. Self-sacrifice is the walls. Self-satisfaction is the roof. That which resides inside is Self-realization.

First, you will develop tremendous humility that comes to you with the faith that God is the doer of everything. Self-confidence is confidence in your Divine Self. So, the first destination is this confidence that will bring humility. As you progress, you must check for yourself, whether these stations are coming or not. If these destinations are not coming on the way, it means either the train is not moving or you are on the wrong train.
