En un satsang celebrado en la presencia divina en Singapur, el 3 de febrero de 2017, un devoto preguntó cómo podemos saber que estamos en el camino correcto.?

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Pregunta: Cuando seguimos Sus instrucciones, hacemos lo que Usted quiere. A medida que avanzamos, ¿cómo sabemos que estamos en el camino correcto y que tú eres feliz, Swami?

Swami: Si viaja a un destino, verá algunas estaciones en el camino. También verá algunos puntos de referencia. Si usted sabe que estas son las estaciones que debe ver mientras está de viaje, entonces usted debe saber con seguridad que usted está en el tren correcto. Si sucede que usted ve destinos incorrectos que en su camino, entonces usted necesitará cambiar de tren. Del mismo modo, cuando están siguiendo el camino de Dios, las estaciones son paz, paciencia, amor, compasión, bondad y pureza. Si se dirige al destino equivocado, verá ira, celos, odio y violencia. Si sales en la estación equivocada, no estás haciendo lo correcto. Si sales en la estación correcta, entonces estás en el destino correcto.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: As we follow Your instructions, we do what You want. As we go along, how do we know that we are on the right path and that You are happy, Swami?

Swami: If you are travelling to a destination, you will see some stations on the way. You will also see some landmarks. If you know that these are the stations you must see whilst you are travelling, then you should confidently know that you are on the right train. If you happen to see wrong destinations coming your way, then you need to change trains. Similarly, when you are following the path of God, the stations are peace, patience, love, compassion, kindness and purity. If you are heading to the wrong destination, you will see anger, jealousy, hatred and violence. If you get off at the wrong station, you are not doing the right thing. If you get off at the right station, then you are at the right destination.
