En uno de los Satsangs celebrados en la presencia divina en Malasia, el 11 de agosto de 2016, un devoto preguntó cuáles son los pasos esenciales para la auto-transformación.

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

PREGUNTA: Swami, hay mucho énfasis en la auto-transformación. ¿Cuáles son los pasos esenciales para la auto-transformación que el devoto debe realizar?

SWAMI: Como siempre te he dicho,  sigue estos tres pasos: del yo al nosotros a Él. Esta es la transformación. Si deseas pasar de hombre a Dios, el método correcto es proceder de hombre a la sociedad y de la sociedad a Dios. 
No es posible, ya sea por la penitencia, yendo a lugares sagrados, por leer las Escrituras, ni por el canto del nombre, poder cruzar el océano del samsara (el ciclo interminable de nacimiento y muerte) sin servir a la gente. No es posible. Por lo tanto, de individuo, a la sociedad, a Dios - este es el derecho, camino real.

Desde la planta baja, hasta el primer piso, a la segunda planta. Así es como usted progresa del 'yo a nosotros' y del 'nosotros a Él'. 
Por un lado, debes tener amor por Dios, y por otro lado, debes hacer servicio para la humanidad. Estos dos juntos te llevarán como las dos alas del pájaro: y podrás volar a cualquier altura.

Eso es lo que siempre prefiero. Una gota no puede alcanzar el océano, así que todos ustedes juntos deben unirse para servir a la sociedad. Juntos deben convertirse en un río; el río fluirá hacia el océano y se convertirá en el océano. 
Entonces, ¿cómo puede una gota convertirse en el océano? Tiene que convertirse previamente en un río, para que pueda fluir hacia el océano. Todos ustedes trabajan juntos en unidad y pureza y llegarán a la Divinidad. Ese es el camino más fácil y más rápido en la espiritualidad. 
¿No es el camino más fácil?

Si tuvieras que ir al Himalaya, estar de pie sobre una pierna, no comer, no dormir, soportar todo el frío y las tormentas, ¿crees que alcanzarías la Divinidad? .
Todo lo que se requiere solamente es hacer seva. 
Amar a la gente y servir a la gente - que es el camino más rápido. Es como el tren expreso, no el tren de pasajeros; Te llevará más rápido. 
Ahora ustedes tienen el tren de bala, que es aún más rápido! Esto es así.

In one of the satsangs held in the divine presence at Malaysia, on 11 August, 2016, a devotee asked what are the essential steps for self-transformation.

And here is what Swami said:

QUESTION: Swami, there is a lot of emphasis on self-transformation. What are the essential steps for self-transformation that a devotee should undertake?

SWAMI: As I have always told you, take these three steps: I to we to He. This is transformation. If you want to progress from man to God, the right method is to proceed from man to society and from society to God. It is not possible either by penance, by going to holy places, by reading scriptures, nor by chanting the name, to cross over the ocean of samsara (the endless cycle of birth and death) without serving people. It is not possible. Therefore, from individual to society to God – this is the right, royal way.

From the ground floor to the first floor to the second floor. That is how you progress from ‘I to we’ and the ‘we to He’. On the one side, you must have love for God and, on the other side, you should have service for humanity. These two together will take you like the two wings takes the bird: it can fly to any height. 

That is what I always prefer. One drop cannot reach the ocean, so all of you must come together to serve society. Each must become a river; a river will flow into the ocean and become the ocean. So how can a drop become the ocean? It has to become a river so that it can flow into the ocean. All of you work together in unity and purity and you will reach Divinity. That is the easiest and the fastest path in spirituality. Is it not the easiest path?

If you had to go to the Himalayas, stand there on one leg, not eat, not sleep, bear all the cold and the storms, do you think you would attain Divinity? All that not required, just do seva. Love people and serve people – that is the fastest. It is like the express train, not the passenger train; it will take you the fastest. Now you have the bullet train, which is even faster! This is like that.
