'Ama Tutti, Servi Tutti' (Amar a todos, servir a todos) es la esencia de todas las escrituras y todas las religiones, que Bhagavan ha estado propagando una y otra vez. En la entrada de la residencia del Sr. Ampilio, esta cita se yergue: 'Sai Anandam', dicho nombre fue dado por Swami con amor, durante su última visita en 2016, recordando suavemente a los transeúntes esta última verdad. Después del desayuno, Swami quiso encontrarse con los voluntarios Sevas que habían estado trabajando incansablemente para Su visita, con este lema profundamente grabado en sus corazones. Alrededor de 40 hombres y mujeres se reunieron en la sala de oración de la residencia, esperando con aliento duplicado para experimentar una vez más la felicidad última de estar en Su presencia. Tan pronto como Swami se sentó, preguntó si todos tomaron el desayuno y hablaba de cómo viven estos días la gente, a diferencia de los viejos tiempos en que la gente comía para vivir. Él dijo: "La comida es sólo un medio para llevar una vida de Dharma, y no debe convertirse en su vida. No debes convertirte en esclavo de tu lengua. Ustedes deben comer lo que es bueno, no lo que es placentero. Esto es lo que se describe en los Upanishads como el Shreyas y el Preyas. Preyas significa aquello que es estimado, lo que le gusta hacer, que es agradable. Pero Shreyas es lo que es bueno. Shreya significa buena fama. Por lo tanto, entre los dos siempre se debe elegir lo que es bueno para ti, no lo que le da placer! Esto es aplicable en los alimentos, en la ropa, en el descanso y en todos los demás aspectos de la vida." "Uno debe continuar aplicando este doble filtro de Shreyas y Preyas. Es preyas o es Shreyas? Si es preyas y no Shreyas, lo abandonan. Si se trata de Shreyas y no preyas, aceptarlo. Algunas cosas pueden ser Shreyas como preyas, por ejemplo  estar con Dios. Es un placer estar con Dios y también es bueno estar con Dios. Este es el gran conocimiento que Yama, el dios de la muerte, impartió a un niño de nombre Nachiketa. Ese es el conocimiento que uno debe utilizar también. El conocimiento cuando es hábil, con la práctica da el equilibrio. Este equilibrio trae la penetración. Simplemente saber y no hacer nada al respecto, nada va a suceder. Esto se llama poder de discriminación. ¡Se le ha dado al hombre! " Swami entonces ordenó la Sra Silvia Veleda, hija del Sr. Ampilio que comenzara el Satsang con algunos bhajans. Su voz meliflua transporto a todos los presentes a otra dimensión, y Swami disfrutó de su canto, expresando su sorpresa agradable sobre la clara pronunciación de las palabras en hindi de los bhajans por la joven italiana. A partir de entonces, mandó el señor Ampilio para hablara. Comenzó recordando lo primero que le atrajo a Swami cuando lo conoció, era el servicio. El Sr. Ampilio dijo que él es capaz de ver que cuando uno da, él o ella recibe también. El dijo: "La belleza de este grupo es la alegría de hacer las cosas. Y el don más grande que podrían recibir hoy es compartir su alegría con el Maestro." Luego pasó a hablar de cómo el servicio de San Francisco se aplica en su vida. "Ayudar a los enfermos, y a aquellos que están necesitados, dando alegría a los demás, con la sensación de que 'Todos son uno' fue el tema principal que San Francisco siguió en su vida. Fue y seguirá siendo la almohada en la que podemos poner nuestra cabeza, que está llena de pensamientos pesados, por lo que podemos recibir la alegría para seguir adelante y seguir adelante incluso en los momentos difíciles de nuestra vida. Ha sido una experiencia extraordinaria para mí porque si Swami no estaba allí, no podría haber tenido esta oportunidad ". Con un corazón lleno de gratitud al Sr. Ampilio se inclino ante Su principal con suma reverencia. Swami dijo entonces: "Nadie sabía dónde está Asís, pero San Francisco lo hizo saber al mundo. Nadie sabía dónde está Jerusalén, y Cristo lo dio a conocer al mundo. Nadie sabía dónde está Puttaparthi, y Swami lo hizo saber a la gente. Del mismo modo, nadie sabía dónde está Muddenahalli, y Swami sólo lo está haciendo saber al mundo. Por lo tanto, es lo bueno lo que nos sigue, incluso más allá de la tumba. La tierra donde el bien pasa se vuelve inmortal, igual que las personas que hace el bien. Hay cientos y miles de pueblos alrededor del mundo, pero hoy estamos hablando de Asís. Y hay millones y millones de seres, incluyendo humanos, que nacieron y murieron por siglos, pero hoy estamos hablando de San Francisco. Hacer el bien para uno mismo les hará solamente un mortal. Pero cuando hacen el bien a los demás, se convierten en inmortales. Durante siglos, recordamos el bien que la gente ha hecho. Eso sí muestra que sólo el desinterés hace ha las personas inmortales! Por lo tanto, Na Karmana- no por acciones mundanas, Na Prajaya- por tener progenie y generaciones después, Dhanena - acumulando riqueza, p Thyagenaike - sólo por sacrificio el hombre se vuelve inmortal. Por eso estamos discutiendo todo esto hoy. La inmortalidad está más allá de tu cuerpo. Vive más allá de tu vida terrenal. ¡Y gente conocida y desconocida te recordará por siempre por el bien que le hiciste a los demás! " Swami a partir de entonces mandó Sri C Sreenivas para compartir lo que había aprendido de Swami sobre Seva todos estos años. El dijo, "Swami había venido reafirmando la belleza, y debo decir, la maravilla del servicio. Cada vez que oímos Swami hablar engendramos un nuevo significado de esta noble palabra 'servicio'. Dijo que 'el bien que hacemos, vive después de nosotros.' Dijo que aporta riqueza y la finalidad de este momento y en adelante. Swami está haciendo todo este concepto y actitud de servicio en la vida, una realidad a través de su obra, y esto ha traído riqueza a nuestras vidas ". Así cuando Sri Sreenivas terminó su breve charla, Swami recordó a todos que era el 24 de abril, el día y el momento en que Él tomó a Su forma eterna, lo sin forma! Hasta ese momento, nadie recordaba que era el Día del Samadhi, ¡porque Su presencia era sentida y experimentada todo el tiempo! Swami narró sobre 'que' último momento, cuando sólo Sri Sreenivas estaba con él en el hospital, que se aferra a sus pies! El dijo: "Ahora usted sabe la verdad de ese momento! Esta es la verdad, que era la mentira! Lo que va y viene no puede ser Dios. Él estaba allí, está allí, y estará allí! Él experimentado en cada momento de la vida, es la celebración con Dios!" At the entrance of Mr Ampilio's residence 'Sathya Sai Anandam', which the Lord lovingly named during His last visit in 2016, this quote stands tall, gently reminding passers by of this ultimate truth. After breakfast, Swami wanted to meet the Seva volunteers who had been tirelessly working towards His visit, with this motto deeply engraved in their hearts. About 40 men and women assembled in the Prayer room of the residence, waiting with bated breath to once again experience the ultimate bliss of being in His presence. As soon as Swami sat down, He enquired whether everyone had their breakfast, and spoke about how these days people are living to eat, unlike old times when people ate to live. He said, "Food is only a means to lead a life of Dharma, and it should not become your life. You should not become the slave of your tongue. You must eat what is good, not what is pleasurable. This is what is described in the Upanishads as the Shreyas and the Preyas. Preyas means that which is dear, which you like to do, which is pleasurable. But Shreyas is that which is good. Shreya means good fame. Therefore, between the two you should always choose that which is good for you, not that which gives you pleasure! This is applicable in food, in clothing, in rest and in every other aspect of life." "One must go on applying this dual filter of Shreyas and Preyas. Is it Preyas or is it Shreyas? If it is Preyas and not Shreyas, abandon it. If it is Shreyas and not Preyas, accept it. Some things may be Shreyas as well as Preyas, like being with God. It is a pleasure to be with God and also it is a good thing to be with God. This is the great knowledge that Yama, the God of Death imparted to a young boy by name Nachiketa. That is the knowledge that one must also use. Knowledge when it is skilled with practice gives balance. This balance brings insight. Simply knowing and not doing about it, nothing is going to happen. This is called discrimination power. It is given to man!" Swami then commanded Ms Silvia Veleda, daughter of Mr Ampilio to commence the Satsang with some Bhajans. Her mellifluous voice transported all present to another dimension, and Swami enjoyed her singing, expressing His pleasant surprise over the clear pronunciation of Hindi words of the Bhajans by the young Italian lady. Thereafter, He commanded Mr Ampilio to address the team. He began by reminiscing the first thing that attracted him to Swami when he met Him, which was service. Mr Ampilio said that he was able to see that when one gives, he or she receives as well. He said, "The beauty of this group is the joy of doing things. And the biggest gift they could receive today is to share their joy with the Master." He went on to speak about how St Francis applied service in his life. "Helping the sick, and those who are in need, by giving joy to others, with the feeling that 'All are one' was the principal theme that St. Francis followed in his life. He was, and will continue to be the pillow on which we can put our head, which is full of heavy thoughts, so that we can receive the joy to go on and go forward even in the difficult moments of our life. It has been an extraordinary experience for me because if Swami was not there, I could not have had this opportunity." With a heart filled with gratitude Mr Ampilio bowed down to His Master with utmost reverence. Swami then said, "Nobody knew where is Assisi, but St. Francis made it known to the world. Nobody knew where is Jerusalem, and Christ made it known to the world. Nobody knew where is Puttaparthi, and Swami made it known to the world. So too, nobody knew where is Muddenahalli, and Swami only is making it known to the world. Therefore, it is the good that we do that follows, even beyond the grave. That land where good happens becomes immortal, just as the person who does the good. There are hundreds and thousands of villages around the world, but we are talking about Assisi today. And there are millions and millions of beings including humans, who were born and who died in centuries, but we are talking about St. Francis today. Doing good for oneself will make you only a mortal. But when you do good for others, you become immortal. For centuries, we remember the good that people have done. That itself shows that only selflessness makes the person immortal! Therefore, Na Karmana- not by all kinds of worldly actions, Na Prajaya- by having progeny and generations after you, Dhanena- by accumulating wealth, but Thyagenaike- only by sacrifice man becomes immortal. That is why we are discussing all these today. Immortality is beyond your body. It lives beyond your earthly life. And known and unknown people will remember you forever for the good that you did to others!" Swami thereafter commanded Sri C Sreenivas to share what he had learnt from Swami about Seva all these years. He said, "Swami had been reaffirming the beauty, and I must say, the wonder of service. Every time we hear Swami speak we beget a new meaning of this noble word 'service'. He said 'the good we do, lives way way way after us.' He said it brings richness and purpose to this moment and hereafter. Swami is making this whole concept and attitude of service in life a reality through His work, and this has brought richness to our lives." Just as Sri Sreenivas finished his short talk, Swami reminded everyone that it was April 24, the day and moment when He took to His eternal form, the formless! Until that moment, no one remembered that it was Samadhi Day, for His presence is felt and experienced all the time! Swami narrated about 'that' final moment when only Sri Sreenivas was with Him in the Hospital, holding on to His Feet! He said, "Now you know the truth of that moment! This is the truth, that was untruth! That which comes and goes cannot be God. He was there, is there, and will be there! Experiencing Him in every moment of life is celebration with God!" Sri B N Narasimha Murthy addressed the volunteers next, and narrated a small incident which took place the previous week when Swami visited the new hospital, Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani International Centre for Child Heart Care and Research. Swami was walking with the staff around the Hospital and blessed the children who were undergoing surgery that day. By the sheer will of Swami, Vibhuti appeared in the hands of Brother Madhusudan, which he gave the children on Swami's command! It was indeed an overwhelming sight to witness, and this was Swami's expression of mercy and compassion. Sri Narasimha Murthy said, "Swami consoled the anxious mother many times, and assured the child will be well. This is Swami's act of service." When Sri B N Narasimha Murthy remarked that ' He had forgotten about the day being Mahasamadhi Day', Swami was quick to respond, " You need to remember those who are away from you, but when I am with you all the time, how will you remember this day!?" Swami spoke to all gathered about service and advised them to continue the good work. He personally handed over the first Italian volume of Sri Sathya Sai Uvacha to all and also gave Vibhuti Prasadam to everyone.
