En los viejos tiempos, la decoración de el Mandir era llevada a cabo por los alumnos durante las ocasiones festivas. Y en una de esas ocasiones, los estudiantes realizaron la colocación de bombillas en serie como parte de la decoración. Y dio la casualidad de que era necesario utilizar un cable de alta tensión para completar esta tarea en particular. Una parte de este cable de alta tensión estaba desnuda, expuesta y sin aislamiento. Alguien había muy cuidadosamente colocado un taburete, donde estaba la parte expuesta del cable , para que nada malo le ocurriera a ninguno de los estudiantes accidentalmente a través de una descarga eléctrica. Pero en la prisa por terminar la decoración, alguien movió el taburete de su posición.
Sathya Sai Baba Swami estaba mirando. Vio los cables y se dirigió en silencio a la zona donde el cable expuesto yacía y se quedó sobre el , de modo que la parte expuesta del cable quedara cubierto y bajo suyo para que ningún daño pudiera ocurrir a ninguno de Sus estudiantes.
Desde ese lugar continuó supervisando el trabajo y dando instrucciones. Hasta que la decoración hubo terminado, Swami estuvo allí, en ese mismo lugar, y finalmente, cuando la decoración hubo terminado, sólo entonces se alejo. Y fue en ese momento que los estudiantes también se dieron cuenta que Bhagavan había tomado sobre sí mismo el riesgo, para evitar cualquier sufrimiento a sus estudiantes. El Señor voluntariamente asume el sufrimiento de Sus devotos.
Si un amigo o un compañero comete un error, sabemos cómo reaccionar en una situación así. Pero ahí estaba el Señor, que no dijo ni una palabra, pero se ofreció a llevar el sufrimiento y evitar el daño a sus devotos, salvando el error de Su devoto.

An Electric Experience...
Below is a wonderful experience by Shri.Subhash Subramaniam, alumni of SSSIHL..,The Below incident shows Bhagawan`s Love for His students...
During the olden days, the decoration in the Mandir would be done by the students during the festive occasions. And on one such occasion, the students were putting up serial bulbs as part of the decoration. And it so happened that they needed to use a live wire to complete this particular task. A part of this live wire was bare, exposed and un-insulated. Somebody had very thoughtfully placed a stool, where the exposed part of the wire lay, so that no harm would occur to any of the students accidentally through an electric shock. But in the hurry that ensued, during the decoration, somebody moved the stool away from its position.
Sathya Sai BabaSwami was watching. He saw the stool
being moved away and He quietly moved to the area where the exposed bare wire lay and stood with His legs across on both the sides, so that, the exposed part of the wire was right under Him and so that no harm would befall on any of His students.
From there, He continued supervising the work and giving directions. Till the entire decoration was over, Swami stood right there, in that very same place and exact posture, and finally, when the decoration was over, and there was no necessity for this wire, only then did He move away. And it was at this moment that the students too realized what Bhagavan had taken upon Himself to prevent any suffering to His students. The Lord voluntarily takes up the suffering of His devotees.
If a friend or a colleague commits an error, we know how we react in such a situation. But here was the Lord, who did not utter a word, but volunteered to take away the sufferings and avoid the harm to His devotees, saving
the mistake of His devotee.
