El Profesor Anil Kumar ha llegado a primeras horas de la tarde de hoy, a Kochi (Kerala). Acompañado por tres miembros del equipo de saiswisdom.com
fue recibido en el aeropuerto por los devotos señores Vishuanathan, Shenoy y Arjun que lo obsequiaron con un ramo de flores a su llegada.
Posteriormente se dirigieron a Cherthala donde todos fueron agasajados por el Presidente de la OSSB en el Estado de Kerala, Profesor Mukundan y por el Vice-Presidente Nacional de la Organización Sr. Ramani.
Tras un breve intercambio de saludos y comentarios sobre el trabajo a realizar en el futuro, continuaron su visita de inspección al recinto donde mañana a las ocho de la mañana se iniciará el encuentro estatal que se desarrollará entre este sábado y domingo.
El Profesor Anil Kumar, junto a otros oradores, participará en el programa de actos con sendas charlas sobre el “Papel de los dirigentes” y otra intervención más que llevará por título “De devoto a trabajador activo”.
La sesión de apertura de la jornada dominical, fijada para las diez de la mañana, será presidida por Sri Sathya Sai Mahothsavam-Sri.KC.Venugopal,Union Minister.
Está previsto que al encuentro asistan más de cuatro mil devotos y trabajadores activos de todo el estado que debatirán sobre el cometido del Gurú, de los profesores y de los devotos.
Además de cantos devocionales y otras actividades, está programado avanzar en la elaboración de los lineamientos para los próximos tres años.
Anil Kumar ha manifestado a este respecto que es fundamental encontrar nuevos métodos de trabajo más efectivos y acordes con los tiempos, por lo que en su opinión se hace precisa una actualización de los mismos.
Un gran número de voluntarios permanecerá ultimando las instalaciones durante toda la noche de hoy, con especial presencia de jóvenes que se han volcado totalmente en los trabajos.
Hay que tener en cuenta que este pequeño estado cuenta, sin embargo, con un gran número de centros, unos doscientos en total, de los que veinte están en la ciudad de Cochín.
El Profesor Anil Kumar se ha referido en términos muy elogiosos a la actividad que llevan a cabo los devotos de Kerala a los que se ha referido como leales, trabajadores y muy formados culturalmente. No en vano, añadió, que es en esta región donde se da el mayor número de escritores de todo el país.
A estas características se une la belleza de este verde territorio sureño, especialmente limpio y cuidado con una de las mejores muestras de arquitectura tradicional.
La sola llegada a la ciudad ofrece la más bellas estampas del río Periyar a su paso por la ciudad. A la gran urbe, auténtica capital comercial y segunda de Kerala con más de un millón y medio de habitantes en todo el distrito, se la conoció como la Reina del Mar Arábigo.
Su fama se justifica por haber sido uno de los más importantes puertos de especies desde que los portugueses la convirtieron en el primer asentamiento colonial de India a principios del siglo XVI.

ANIL KUMAR IN KOCHI, KERALAKochi, Friday 7th December
Professor Anil Kumar has arrived early in the afternoon to Kochi, Kerala. Accompanied by three team members of HYPERLINK "http://saiswisdom.com/" \t "_blank" saiwisdom.com he was greeted at the airport by respected Sai Organisation officer bearers and devotees Vishuanathan, Shenoy and Arjun who presented him with a bouquet of flowers upon his arrival.
They later moved to Cherthala where all were entertained by the President of the OSSB in the State of Kerala, Professor Mukundan, and the Vice-Chairman of the National Organization, Mr. Ramani.
After a brief exchange of greetings and comments on the work to be done in the future, they continued on to an inspection visit to the site where Saturday morning at eight o'clock the two-day Kerala state grand celebration will begin.
Professor Anil Kumar, along with other speakers, participates in the program of events with specific lectures on the "Role of the Leaders" and "From Devotee to Active Worker ".
The opening session of the Sri Sathya Sai Mahothsavam, will be held on Sunday at ten o'clock, will be chaired by Sri K.C. Venugopal, Union Minister.
This massive meeting is expected to draw over four thousand devotees and active workers statewide who will discuss the role of the Guru, teachers and devotees.
Besides devotional songs and other seva activities, the aim is to advance the development of guidelines for the next three years. Anil Kumar has stated in this regard that it is essential to find new ways of working more effectively and consistently with the times. In his opinion this updated approach is most necessary at this time.
A large number of volunteers finalized the facilities at the venue. One could feel the special presence of the enthusiastic young people who have turned out to fully complete the work overnight.
It should be noted that this small state has a large number of centers, around two hundred in total, of which twenty are in Kochi alone.
Professor Anil Kumar spoke in very complimentary terms about the activities undertaken by the Kerala devotees, whom he referred to as loyal, highly educated workers, supporting the traditional culture. Not surprisingly, he added, this region has given birth to the highest number of writers around the country.
The green beauty of this southern territory is complimented by its cleanliness and striking examples of traditional Kerala architecture. The mere arrival in the city offers the most beautiful scenes of the Periyar River, winding its way through the city.
In this big city, which is the real commercial capital of Kerala, with more than a million and a half people in the entire district, which is also known as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’.
Its fame is justified, being one of the most important ports developed by the Portuguese who built the first colonial settlement in India in the early sixteenth century.
