Sai Ram - Una lección de fe ...
A continuación se presenta un incidente maravilloso mencionado por Shri. Srinivasan, Presidente de las Organizaciones Sri Sathya Sai de India:
Una lección de fe .
Durante una de mis visitas al Estado de Haryana, me llevaron a ver algunas de nuestras actividades Grama Seva en un pequeño y remoto pueblo del Estado. Pude observar el servicio de diversas actividades espirituales que se llevan a cabo por nuestros miembros los Samithi (Centros Sai) y la participación activa de los pobladores en estos programas. También hubo una reunión pública donde los pobladores expresaron su agradecimiento por el trabajo realizado y su gran interés en formar parte del contingente de Prashanti Seva en Puttaparthi. También se dirigió a los habitantes del pueblo sobre los objetivos de nuestra Organización y las enseñanzas de Bhagavan que nos motiva y nos inspiran.
En el momento en que todos los programas se habían terminado, y se hacia de noche, y ya era hora de irnos. A medida que nuestro coche avanzaba a través de las calles, una anciana de repente se acercó y se tendió en el frente del coche y no se levantaba.
Bajé y le dije: "Madre, ¿por qué haces esto?" Ella respondió que quería que yo visitara su choza, a cierta distancia.
Yo estaba muy conmovido por su insistencia y accedí a su petición y me dirigí con ella hacia un lado de la calle, donde su pequeña choza estaba de pie.
Cuando entramos en la pequeña choza, que era de tan sólo unos 8 pies de largo, pude ver que más de la mitad de la vivienda era un altar para Bhagavan con su imagen en el centro. Las lámparas ardían intensamente y todo el ambiente era tranquilo y etéreo. Sentí que estaba en un templo de la Divinidad.
Pude ver que la anciana era muy pobre y no parecía tener a nadie que la ayudara. Sin embargo, su rostro estaba radiante y serena.
Entonces le dijo: "Madre, no te preocupes. Baba se hará cargo de usted. "
Ella sonrió y me dijo: "Hijo, ¿por qué me debo preocupar. Baba está siempre conmigo. Él está aquí con nosotros ahora. "
Inmediatamente me di cuenta de que esta fue una lección de fe para mí, de esta pobre señora en este remoto pueblo, lejos de Prashanti Nilayam, que nunca había visto la forma física de Bhagavan, pero sin embargo, experimentaba su presencia constantemente.
Yo estaba muy conmovido por su insistencia y accedí a su petición y me dirigí con ella hacia un lado de la calle, donde su pequeña choza estaba de pie.
Cuando entramos en la pequeña choza, que era de tan sólo unos 8 pies de largo, pude ver que más de la mitad de la vivienda era un altar para Bhagavan con su imagen en el centro. Las lámparas ardían intensamente y todo el ambiente era tranquilo y etéreo. Sentí que estaba en un templo de la Divinidad.
Pude ver que la anciana era muy pobre y no parecía tener a nadie que la ayudara. Sin embargo, su rostro estaba radiante y serena.
Entonces le dijo: "Madre, no te preocupes. Baba se hará cargo de usted. "
Ella sonrió y me dijo: "Hijo, ¿por qué me debo preocupar. Baba está siempre conmigo. Él está aquí con nosotros ahora. "
Inmediatamente me di cuenta de que esta fue una lección de fe para mí, de esta pobre señora en este remoto pueblo, lejos de Prashanti Nilayam, que nunca había visto la forma física de Bhagavan, pero sin embargo, experimentaba su presencia constantemente.
De inmediato caí a sus pies y dije: "Madre, Bhagavan me ha dado una lección a través de ti."
Hay miles de esas personas espiritualmente evolucionadas que pueden estar físicamente lejos de Bhagavan, pero espiritualmente cerca de él.

Cuando regresé a Prashanti Nilayam y conté esta experiencia a Bhagavan, Él sólo me sonrió y me dijo: "Los devotos están en todas partes".

A Lesson in Faith
During one of my visits to the State of Haryana, I was taken to see some of our Grama Seva activities in a small and remote village of the State. I could observe the various service and spiritual activities being carried out by our Samithi members and the active participation of the villagers in these programmes. There was also a public meeting where the villagers expressed their appreciation of the work being done and their great interest in joining the contingent for Prashanti Seva at Puttaparthi. I also addressed the villagers on our Organisation’s objectives and Bhagavan’s Teachings which motivate and inspire us.
By the time all the programmes were gone through, it was approaching darkness and it was time for us to leave. As our car was moving forward through the lanes, an old lady suddenly came forward and lay down in front of the car and would not get up. I got down and said “Mother, why are you doing this?” She replied that she wanted me to visit her hut, a little distance away.
I was greatly moved by her insistence and agreed to her request and walked with her to the side of the lane, where her little hut was standing.
When we entered the small hut which was only about 8 feet in length, I could see that more than half of the simple dwelling was an altar for Bhagavan with His picture in the centre. The lamps were burning brightly and the entire ambience was serene and ethereal. I felt that I was in a Divine Temple.
I could see that the old lady was very poor and did not seem to have anybody to help her. However, her face was radiant and serene.
I then said to her “Mother, do not be worried. Baba will take care of you.”
She then smiled and said to me “Son, why should I worry. Baba is always with me. He is here with us now.”
I immediately realised that this was a lesson in faith for me from this poor lady in this remote village, far from Prashanti Nilayam, who had never seen the physical form of Bhagavan but yet experienced His presence constantly. I immediately fell at her feet and said “Mother, Bhagavan has given me a lesson through you.”
There are thousands of such spiritually evolved persons who may be physically far from Bhagavan, but are spiritually close to Him. When I returned to Prashanti Nilayam and recounted this experience to Bhagavan, He just smiled at me and said “Devotees are everywhere.
