Om Sai Ram querida Familia Sai:
En pocas horas vamos a presenciar el primer año de la partida divina de Swami. Un año ha pasado desde que Swami no dejo físicamente, pero hizo su trabajo con mucha más intensidad en este año. Este día en el año 2011, estuvo lleno de tensión, de emoción, de insatisfacción, enojo, preocupación, ansiedad, y mucho más.
Los medios de comunicación del mundo entero estaban aparcados delante de la puerta de Ganesh.
Todos los funcionarios debían responder a las preguntas, ya que muchas personas estaban completamente desorientados, los devotos no tenían idea y todo el mundo no tenía ni idea.
Exactamente un año después, el ambiente es completamente diferente. A pesar de que hay una sensación de pesadez en el corazón, hay sosiego en todas partes.
Los salones en especial el Mandir, está muy bien decorados. El ídolo de Ganesha en Prashanti consiguió una cirugía estética, y hoy en día está envuelto en plata.
Cuando miramos hacia atrás, exactamente hace un año, muchas personas en la sociedad, escriban sobre nuestra organización. Algunos eran de la opinión de que la organización perdería su carisma, no más nuevos proyectos en ofrenda SAI , etc. etc ..
Pero poco a poco, las personas de mentalidad estrecha, se dieron cuenta de que nuestro Swami no es un mero ser humano, que dejo un cuerpo y entrara en otro cuerpo, enredado en el ciclo de nacimiento y renacimiento.
Exactamente un año después, el ambiente es completamente diferente. A pesar de que hay una sensación de pesadez en el corazón, hay sosiego en todas partes.

Nuestros Swami vino en una forma para llevarnos a lo informe.
La Organización Sai en todo el mundo hizo un trabajo fantástico con la guía divina. Todos los festivales, yatras, parthi, hospitales, proyectos de agua, etc... están operando normalmente.
De hecho, los hospitales, en particular, están recibiendo un lavado de cara, con los últimos equipos modernos que reemplazan a los actuales.
El último anuncio del Proyecto de Agua para los 118 pueblos afectados por el flúor en Anantapur, fue bien recibido por todos y cada uno en la sociedad. Tomando el ejemplo de los proyectos de Swami, muchos devotos de Sai y organizaciones en el extranjero, también están haciendo proyectos similares.
Los actos de la primera jornada del día de Mahasamdhi, comenzaron con una breve introducción por Mr. Rangarajan, seguida por una charla de Samuel Sandweiss y Swami Sudananda Giri, un seguidor de Paramahamsa Yogananda, seguido por dos bhajans para finalizar el programa a las 10:30 horas, con el Arathi.
El programa de la noche comenzó con una charla de Mr. J. Jayaraman del ashram de Ramana Maharshi , seguido por un drama "Una peregrinación a mí mismo".
Esta es una ocasión cuando los devotos de todas partes del mundo están de visita en Prashanti para encontrar la paz en el corazón. Para pagar gratitud a nuestro amado Señor. Para sentirse motivado y conseguir la realización de su omnipotente divinidad.

Todos estos años estuvimos acostumbrados a las conversaciones (en la presencia divina) que nos conectaría con Swami y nos hacian sentir emocionados al escuchar algunas anécdotas, para fortalecer nuestra fe y el amor por Swami.

Hoy en día, mientras escuchaba a los oradores, estaba viendo a hermanos sentados a mi lado y todos ellos tenían un gran signo de interrogación en sus rostros.
Las conversaciones fueron en Inglés, pero de alguna forma no se conectaron con la audiencia. En el medio de la charla un devoto de el extranjero con una sonrisa me preguntó: ¿De qué habla?.
El director de la película puede ser muy grande como Stephen Spielberg, pero al final del día si no se conecta con el público de masas, todo su duro trabajo no significara nada.
Pero yo estoy seguro de que en los próximos dos días serán más interesantes, ya que algunos miembros más conocidos de la familia Sai, especialmente de Prashanti, se dirigiran a la reunión en la sala Sai Kulwanth.
Esta tarde el Prof.Anil Kumar, se dirigió a un grupo de Sudáfrica con el tema: De la forma a lo sin forma.

In no time we are going to witness the first year of Swami's divine departure. A year has passed since Swami was not seen to us PHYSICALLY but He did His work with much more intensity in this one year. This day in the year 2011 was filled with Tension, Emotion, dis-satisfaction, anger, worry, anxiety and much more. The whole world's media was parked infront of Ganesh gate. All the officials who were supposed to answer so many questions were completely clueless, the devotees were clueless and the whole world was clueless.
Exactly one year later, the atmosphere is completely different. Even though there is heaviness in heart there is calmness every where. The mandir premises is beautifully decorated. The Ganesha idol in Prasanthi got a facelift today and now it is wrapped in silver.
When we look back, Exactly a year ago, many people in the society wrote off our organisation. Some were of the opinion that the organisation will lose its charisma, no more new projects in offering etc.. etc... But little did those narrow minded people realise that our Swami is not a mere human being to leave one body and get into another body, entangled in the cycle of birth and re-birth which we are going through. Our Swami came in a Form to take us to the Formless. The Sai Organisation all over the world sparing few short comings here and there did a fantastic job with the divine guidance. All the festivals, Parthi yatras, hospitals, water projects etc were operating normally. In fact the hospitals in particular are getting a facelift with latest equipment being replaced with the present one.
The latest announcement of Water Project to the 118 flouride affected villages in Anantapur was welcomed by every one in the society. Taking cue from Swami's projects, many devotees/Sai organisations overseas are also doing similar projects in their own capacities

The evening programme started off with a talk by Mr.J.Jayaraman from Ramana Maharshi ashram and a drama "A Pilgrimage to myself "followed.
Even though it may not sound situational but who ever planned this programme especially the day one of Swami's Mahasamadhi day celebrations should have done bit more HOMEWORK before finalising the speakers for such a grand occasion. This was an occasion when devotees from all over the world were visiting Prasanthi to find peace in heart. To pay gratitude to our beloved Lord. To get motivated and get realisation of His omnipotent Divinity.There is no doubt about the scholarly excellence of today's speakers but very frankly and with no bias or ill will in heart, today's speakers (with no exception) were too TECHNICAL and TOO SCHOLARLY for such an audience. All these years we are used to talks (in the divine presence) which would CONNECT/RE-CONNECT with Swami and make us feel thrilled by listening to some anecdotes to strengthen our faith and love towards Swami. Today, while listening to the speakers i was watching fellow brothers seated next to me and they all had a big question mark on their faces. The talks were very much in English, but some how didn't connect to the audience. In the middle of the talk one overseas devotee with a smile asked me : What is he talking? The director of the movie might be as big as Stephen Speilberg but at the end of the day if he doesn't connect with the mass audience all his hard work would mean nothing.
But iam sure the coming two days would be more interesting as some known members from Sai Family especially from Prasanthi would be addressing the gathering in Sai Kulwanth hall.
