Una Conferencia de Economía de toda la India, titulada "Los retos económicos: Perspectivas mundiales y nacionales", fue llevada a cabo por el Departamento de Economía, del Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Educación Superior, en Prashanti Nilayam: entre febrero 23-25.
La conferencia examinó los problemas económicos desde una perspectiva global, teniendo en cuenta el papel de la India y el desarrollo de soluciones que convengan, estudiando la profundidad y la aplicabilidad en estos problemas.
Esta conferencia fue inaugurada por el Prof. V. Pandit, ex rector de ISSSES. Comenzó con el tema de la escalada de las disparidades económicas, destacó en su discurso la necesidad de que la comunidad mundial, debe pensar en términos de la adopción de un estilo de vida simple, pero con valores altos, para el cual nuestro venerado Canciller fundador del Instituto Sri Sathia Sai Baba ha hecho un gran énfasis .
Esta conferencia fue inaugurada por el Prof. V. Pandit, ex rector de ISSSES. El Prof. S. Mahendra Dev, Director de la IGIDR, de Mumbai, formalmente, presidio la Comisión de costos agrícolas y de Precios, del Gobierno de la India, con su dirección discutió en detalle la brecha entre la percepción teórica y la aplicación práctica de la Estrategia para el Crecimiento Inclusivo de la India y ofrecer soluciones prácticas para su éxito.
En el marco del Ciclo de conferencias fueron invitados, Shri. AVGokak, ex rector de ISSSES, VM Rao profesor, el Excmo. Prof. ISEC, de Bangalore, en otro tiempo, miembros de la Comicion de Precios y Costos agrícolas del Gobierno de la India, Shri. S. Krishnaswamy, experto en energía, Dallas, TX, EE.UU.. y el Prof. G.Venkataraman, un científico de renombre y ex rector de ISSSES , hablaron.

Durante los tres días, cinco sesiones técnicas se realizaron, en el que treinta y ocho exposiciones fueron presentadas en virtud de varios jefes, de los cuales dieciséis eran documentos del Departamento de Economía, ISSSES. Prof. K.Ramakrishna Reddy, Rector de la Universidad de Sri Krishnadevaraya, Anantapur, que dio el discurso de despedida.

An All India Economics Conference entitled, Economic Challenges: Global and National Perspectives was conducted by the Department of Economics, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam:between February 23-25. The conference examined economic problems from a global perspective while considering India’s role and evolve solutions that befit the nature, depth and applicability of these problems.
This conference was inaugurated by Prof. V. Pandit, Former Vice-Chancellor of SSSIHL. Dwelling on the theme of escalating economic disparities, he emphasized in his address the need for the world community to think in terms of adopting a life style that is simple but with high values for which the Revered Founder Chancellor of the Institute has given a great emphasis. Prof. S. Mahendra Dev, Director, IGIDR, Mumbai, formally, Chairman, Agricultural Costs and Prices Commission, Government of India, in his Key-note address discussed at length the gap between the theoretical perception and practical application of the Inclusive Growth strategy in India and offered practical solutions for its success.
Under the Invited Lecture Series, Shri. A.V.Gokak, Former Vice-chancellor of SSSIHL, Prof. V.M.Rao, Hon. Prof. ISEC, Bangalore, formerly, Member, Agricultural Costs and Prices Commission, Government of India, Shri. S. Krishnaswamy, Energy Expert, Dallas, TX, USA. and Prof. G.Venkataraman, a renowned Scientist and Former Vice-Chancellor of SSSIHL spoke . Special Lectures were organized in which eight senior professional economists spoke at length.
During the three days, five Technical Sessions were conducted in which thirty eight papers were presented under various heads of which sixteen papers were from the Department of Economics, SSSIHL. Prof. K.Ramakrishna Reddy, Vice-chancellor, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, gave the valedictory address.
