Una peregrinación de la Región 94 de la Organización Sai, que comprende los países de Oriente Medio y del Golfo, han llegado a Prashanti Nilayam con fervor islámico.
El grupo está formado por los devotos de Turquía, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Omán, Bahrein, Qatar y Arabia Arabia.
El salón Sai Kulwant en la parte delantera del escenario, está decorado con banderas de todas las naciones participantes. Una media luna sonríe en la cima del Sancta Sanctorum.
Enseñanzas del Islam obtenida de los discursos de Bhagavan, se podían ver sobre los pilares de la sala. Un gran contingente de devotos con pañuelos verdes que representa el color de la paz, han estado muy activos en Prashanti Nilayam.
Los miembros del grupo se han unido a los estudiantes para cantar Bhajans en la mañana del 07 de agosto. Por la tarde se anunció que este grupo será bendecido para realizar su ofrenda, en el Sai Kulwant Hall, durante los próximos dos días.
El programa incluirá una procesión de una réplica de la sagrada mezquita de Abu Dhabi. Los programas comenzarán a las cinco de la tarde, los dias 9 y 10 de agosto.

En el mes santo del Ramadán, un grupo de devotos de el mundo árabe, están en peregrinación a Prashanti Nilayam, el último asiento de la Divinidad. ... Y en una tarde agradable, la Declaración Universal de Mevlei Dance, un rito religioso islámico que conduce a la felicidad espiritual, se robó el protagonismo en el primer día de los dos días de duración del Programa Interreligioso en Prashanti Nilayam, programado por el grupo de visitantes de la Región 94.
Con recuerdos de los entrañables días en la dulce presencia física de Bhagaván y su atención personal a los peregrinos, durante muchos años.
Las Organizaciones Sri Sathya Sai , de la Región 94, ha entrado en grupo de Peregrinación 2011 "a la santa morada de Prashanti Nilayam.
Los representantes de Turquía e Irán seguidos por otros países participantes, se trasladaron hasta la tarima, para ofrece reverencias a Bhagaván. El procesionantes iban vestidos con trajes regionales de los respectivos países y llevaban banderas nacionales.
Mientras la procesión terminaba su ronda, se realizo una breve introducción sobre la cultura turca, su historia y su significado religioso islámico, seguido de un estallido del grupo, cantando himnos sagrados. Después de los breves cantos, cuatro Mevlevis realizaron los derviches, tomando el centro del escenario, moviéndose constante y lentamente, como se proclama en su religión. .
SEMA, Sufi Torbellino es una meditación de los sufíes, popularmente practicado por los derviches sufíes de la orden Mevlevi. El "baile" de los derviches se llama Sema y nace de la inspiración de Mevlana Celaddiin-i Rumi, un santo del siglo 13 musulmán conocido en todo el mundo por sus poemas exquisitos y palabras de sabiduría. Sema representa un viaje místico del hombre en su ascenso espiritual .
Durante los siguientes veinte minutos, los derviches, en número de cuatro, con el típico gorro, símbolo de la lápida del ego, con faldas larga y blancas, que simbolizan la cubierta del ego, ocuparon el centro del escenario, bailando las melodías rítmicas, completamente absortos en lo Divino.
A partir de sus brazos en cruz, los derviches se trasladan girando, y poco a poco ponen sus manos en flor, con la mano derecha dirigida hacia el cielo, lo que indica su disposición a recibir la bendiciones divina, mientras que la mano izquierda se vuelve hacia la Tierra.
Pasando de derecha a izquierda, girando alrededor del corazón, se movían en movimiento constante, rítmico y circular, presentando un efecto visual que equilibra el cuerpo y la mente, para lograr la perfección espiritual.
El "baile" terminó con una oración por la paz de las almas de todos los profetas y los creyentes. El programa entero fue acompañado por la música del alma, con la asistencia de cinco músicos con distintos instrumentos, a saber, Kanun, un instrumento musical como la cítara de 72 cuerdas, Tambur, una antigua forma de laúd, y Ney una flauta de la música Melvei.
El derviche es una ofrenda colectiva, sumado a una oración al amado Bhagaván, por la Fraternidad Sai de la región, para que los bendiga, mientras que giraban en este movimiento circular, pidiendo ayuda para el crecimiento espiritual .

El grupo estaba compuesto de 260 miembros, de nueve países aliados de la región, a saber, los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Omán, Bahrein, Kuwait, Qatar, Turquía, Arabia Saudita, Siria, e Irán.
Esta tarde, en el primer día, del Programa Interreligioso de dos días, los devotos de Turquía, un país de mayoría musulmana, ofreció un programa cultural especial en el Sai Kulwant Hall.
El programa se inició a las 17:00 hrs., con una procesión religiosa, llevando una réplica de cristal de la mezquita de Abu Dhabi, capital de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos.
La procesión, con un estilo de perfección religiosa y belleza, comenzó desde la entrada Dashavatar en el Ashram. Avanzando lentamente en dirección a la tarima, el altar del Señor omnipresente, los procesionantes llevaron la réplica de cristal, trasladándola en marcha lenta, impregnada de devoción y dedicación, acompañada de golpes rítmicos de música y el canto de himnos religiosos sagrados del Islam.

A pilgrimage by the Region 94 of the Sai Organisation comprising the countries from Middle East and Gulf has enveloped Prasanthi Nilayam with Islamic Fervor. The group comprises devotees from Turkey, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.The portion of the Sai Kulwant hall in front of the stage is decorated with flags from all the participating nations. A crescent smiles atop the Sanctum Sanctorum. Teachings of Islam gleaned from Bhagawan's discourses flutters on the pillars of the hall. A large contingent of devotees in green scarves representing the colour of peace have been very active in Prasanthi Nilayam. Members of the group have joined the students for Morning Bhajans since August 7th. This evening it was announced that this group will be blessed to perform in Sai Kulwant hall on the next two days. The programme will include a procession of a replica of the holy mosque of Abu Dhabi. The programmes will begin at five o clock in the evening.

It is Holy Month of Ramadan and a group of devotees from the Arab world are on a pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam, the Ultimate Seat of the Divine. ...And on a pleasant evening, the Universal Mevlei Dance, an Islamic religious rite leading to spiritual bliss stole the limelight on the first day of the two-day scheduled Interfaith Programme by the visiting group from Region 94, in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Reminiscing of the cherished memories of Bhagawan's sweet physical presence and personal attention to the pilgrims over the past some years, Region 94 of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations - Overseas has come in a group on 'Sai Pilgrimage 2011' to the Holy Abode of Prasanthi Nilayam. The group comprised of 260 members from nine allied countries of the region, namely, The UAE, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Iran.
This evening, on the first day of its scheduled two-day Interfaith Programme, devotees from Turkey, a country with a Muslim majority, offered a special cultural programme in Sai Kulwant Hall.
The programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with a religious procession carrying a crystal replica of the Holy Mosque of Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE. The procession, styled to religious perfection and beauty, commenced from the Dashavatar gate at the en trace of the Ashram. Inching in towards the dais, the altar of the omnipresent Lord, the processionists carrying the crystal replica moved in slow gait, suffused with devotion and dedication, accompanied by rhythmic beats of music and religious chanting of holy hymns of Islam. Representatives from Turkey and Iran followed by other participating countries moved unto the dais, offering obeisance to Bhagawan. The processionists were clad in regional attire of respective countries and were carrying national flags. As the procession completed its round, a brief introduction on Turkish culture and history and that of Islamic religious significance followed before the group burst into singing holy hymns. After the brief chanting four Mevlevis performing the Whirling Dervishes took the centre-stage, moving in slow, steady gait as is proclaimed in their religion. .

The 'dance' of the Whirling Dervishes is called Sema and is born out of the inspiration of Mevlana Celaddiin-i Rumi, a 13th century Muslim Saint known throughout the world for his exquisite poems and words of wisdom. Sema represents a mystical journey of man's spiritual ascent.
For the next twenty minutes, the dervishes, four in number, with typical head-gear, symbolic of ego's tombstone, with white long skirt, symbolising ego's shroud, occupied the centre-stage, dancing to rhythmic tunes, completely engrossed in the Divine. Beginning with holding arms crosswise, the dervishes moved spinning, slowly blooming their hands, with the right hand directed towards the sky, signalling their readiness to receive Divine beneficence, while gazing left hands turned towards the Earth. Turning from right to left, pivoting around the heart, they moved in steady, rhythmic circular motion, presenting a visual treat of balancing the body and mind, tuning to spiritual perfection.
The 'dance' ended with a prayer for the peace of the souls of all prophets and believers. The entire programme was accompanied by soulful music, assisted by five musicians on various instruments, namely, Kanun, a Zither-like musical instrument with 72 strings, Tambur, an ancient form of lute, Ney, a reed flute played in Melvei music.
The Whirling Dervish was a collective offering, a prayer to Beloved Bhagawan by the Sai Fraternity from the region to bless them, while they revolve in this circular motion, helping them in the spiritual sense with each and every turn. Offering the dance, they prayed to Bhagawan to help them to reach Him, the Ultimate Source, through the whirling movement.
Bhajans followed for the next ten minutes before Mangala Arathi was offered to Bhagawan. Prasadam was distributed to the entire assemblage.
