En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en Dubai, UAE, el 27 de agosto de 2015. Un devoto preguntó por qué la reacción, a una acción, no es inmediata.

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Devoto: Los políticos están explotando al público; personas inteligentes están explotando a los menos inteligentes. ¿Por qué la reacción a una acción no es inmediata? Si hay una reacción inmediata a los políticos corruptos, dejarán de explotar a las personas. ¿Por qué el resultado del karma llega después de unos pocos o muchos años? Es por eso que la gente no tiene miedo de cometer pecados. Si el efecto fuese inmediato, el mundo sería un lugar más tranquilo para vivir.

Swami: Uno de mis estudiantes es muy aficionado a comer. Él es tan aficionado a comer que incluso si su estómago le duele, no se detendrá. Él va a seguir comiendo. Él va y toma algunos medicamentos para que pueda comer más. 
No es que los malhechores no estén sufriendo. Están siempre con miedo, no tienen paz, ni consiguen dormir; están preocupados y con miedo de que sean condenados o castigados por lo que han hecho. Ellos están constantemente viviendo en un miedo tremendo. Ese sí, es un castigo para ellos. Al igual que el estudiante que es aficionado a la comida, incluso a costa de la destrucción de sí mismo, sigue comiendo.

Del mismo modo, los políticos y el pueblo en el poder hacen un mal uso de sus poderes hasta que se les hace imposible para ellos. El castigo no es el castigo físico; mentalmente tienen sufrimiento. Por un momento, piensen en una vida en la que están continuamente viviendo en el miedo; que en sí es una forma de castigo. En algún lugar, como ya he dicho, la avaricia es demasiada. Ellos no son capaces de detener a sí mismos. Sin embargo, con el tiempo van a colapsar. 
Mientras la Ley del Karma es el efecto, la verdad es que hay una reacción mental inmediata para cada acción. A veces se da cuenta, y a veces no se dan cuenta de la reacción. En última instancia, el sufrimiento y la alegría se produce incluso cuando usted está actuando. ¿No es una forma de castigo que un malhechor constantemente viva en el miedo? ¿No es el temor constante?

And here is what Swami said:

Devotee: Politicians are exploiting the public; intelligent people are exploiting the less intelligent. Why is the reaction to an action not immediate? If there is an immediate reaction for the corrupt politicians, they will stop exploiting the people. Why is the result of karma after a few or many janmas? That’s why people are not afraid of committing sins. If the effect was immediate, the world would be a more peaceful place to live.

Swami: One student of Mine is very fond of eating. He is so fond of eating that even if his stomach hurts, he will not stop. He will go on eating. He goes back and takes a few medicines so that he can eat more. It’s not that wrong-doers are not suffering. They are always afraid, they don’t have peace, nor do they get sleep; they are worried and afraid that they will be condemned or punished for what they’ve done. They are constantly living in tremendous fear. That itself is a punishment for them. Like the student who is fond of food, even at the cost of destroying himself, he goes on eating.

Likewise, the politicians and the people in power go on misusing their powers till it becomes impossible for them. Punishment is not about physical punishment; mentally they keep suffering. For a moment, think of a life where you are continuously living in fear; that itself is a form of punishment. Somewhere, as I said, the greed is too much. They are not able to stop themselves. However, eventually they will collapse. As long as the Law of Karma is in effect, the truth is that there is an immediate reaction for every action. Sometimes you realize and sometimes you don’t realize the reaction. Ultimately, suffering and joy occurs even as you are acting. Isn’t it a form of punishment that a wrong-doer constantly lives in fear? Is he not in constant fear? He is, but still, he continues to do what he has planned, as he has no control over his mind. Therefore, joy or suffering start immediately after the action, but the larger consequence come later on.

Era una mañana emotiva para todos, ya que diez días gloriosos con el Señor del Universo habían llegado a su fin, ya que era el último día, antes de la salida de regreso a Muddenahalli, a la mañana siguiente. Los alimentos para el cuerpo, la mente y el alma fueron abundantemente distribuidos durante los diez días. 

Cuando Swami llegó a la sala de los Bhajan, hizo señas a Sri K P Gopinath para que leyera todos los nombres de los cocineros y otros que han sido la columna vertebral del viaje. 

Swami bendijo a cada uno profusamente con Sus muestras de amor. Sri Gopinath está a cargo de todos los arreglos de comida, y Swami le pidió que hablara algunas palabras. Sri Gopinath, que ha estado viajando con Swami a Kodaikanal durante las últimas décadas, narró muchos momentos felices al corazón, ejemplos con respecto a comida y estudiantes en la Presencia Divina.

Toda la noche estuvo empapada de emoción, y no había un ojo seco en la habitación! 

Las canciones y la ofrenda instrumental fueron intercaladas con conversaciones significativas y sentidas. 

Fue un fin glorioso a diez días de amor puro! 

Después del Mangala Arati y Prasadam, todos se retiraron por la noche para salir a la mañana siguiente a Bangalore, vía Dindigul.

 «Perdónense a sí mismos»

“Ya que Dios está dispuesto a perdonarlos, ¿por qué no deberían perdonarse a sí mismos?” 

En uno de los satsang celebrados en la Divina Presencia en Australia, el 23 de septiembre de 2015, un devoto preguntó cómo puede uno perdonarse y amarse a sí mismo.

PREGUNTA: Muchas gracias, Swami, por Tu divina sabiduría. Tengo una pregunta sobre el perdón. En las ocasiones en que tal vez haya hecho algo malo, puedo ser muy duro conmigo mismo. Considerando que es inevitable que algunas veces tengamos caídas, ¿podrías aconsejarnos cómo perdonarnos y amarnos a nosotros mismos en este viaje?

SWAMI: Esto es muy importante. Perdonar a los demás es claramente más fácil, pero perdonarse a sí mismos es mucho más difícil. Cuando niño, en la escuela primaria, puedes haber cometido errores tontos; tal vez no sabías sumar dos más dos y obtener cuatro, porque recién estabas aprendiendo. Como resultado, puede que hayas obtenido notas bajas en la escuela primaria, por no hacer bien las cosas en matemática. Después de crecer, si miras al pasado, a tus días de escuela primaria, y eres incapaz de perdonarte por no haber sido capaz de sumar dos más dos y obtener cuatro, ¿no es una tontería? En esa época, en esas circunstancias, en esa situación, aquello podía ocurrir. Y sí, si fue un error, que así sea. Ahora has crecido y sabes que has cometido errores debido al tiempo, al lugar y a las circunstancias que prevalecían entonces. No puedes decir que eres un tonto ahora, porque hayas cometido un error en la escuela primaria. No puedes seguir condenándote por aquel error que cometiste hace tiempo.

Ahora eres capaz de hacer muchas más cosas, de acuerdo a tu edad y a tu educación. Lo que haya ocurrido en el pasado, debido a las situaciones y circunstancias que prevalecían en aquel entonces, no puede definir tu vida entera. 

Siempre digo: «El pasado es el pasado, olvida el pasado». Si sabes que has cometido un error, ahora tienes la oportunidad de corregirlo y evitar cometerlo de nuevo. Muchos ni siquiera saben que están cometiendo un error, y continúan viviendo dichosamente en la ignorancia. Es como si subieras a un ómnibus equivocado y luego te quedaras dormido, sin darte cuenta de adónde te diriges. Estás conforme porque el ómnibus se mueve, pero finalmente terminas en otro sitio, y es muy tarde para volver atrás. Al menos te has dado cuenta de que estabas en el ómnibus equivocado sin saberlo; has descendido, has tomado el ómnibus correcto y has reiniciado tu viaje. Aquello que se ha perdido no se puede recuperar, pero tienes mucho más, que aún puede salvarse.

Mira lo que tienes, no lo que has perdido. El pasado es pasado, olvida el pasado. El presente es omnipresente; lo que hagas ahora definirá tu futuro. Por lo tanto, sepan ustedes que Dios los ama a todos y que, como Divino Padre y Madre, los perdonará si se arrepienten de verdad, desde el corazón. Ya que Dios está dispuesto a perdonarlos, ¿por qué no deberían perdonarse a sí mismos? Agradezcan a Dios que les haya recordado ahora que habían cometido un error, y que les haya hecho saber que pueden corregirlo y no repetirlo nuevamente. Busquen la ayuda de Dios, y sigan avanzando. Ustedes no son diferentes a Dios. Estas son sólo cosas que ustedes aprenden a medida que crecen.

Un error no es un error, si no es repetido. Por eso, basta con que se perdonen por haber hecho mal. No sigan cavilando sobre el pasado. No se puede mirar hacia atrás y caminar hacia adelante. Por lo tanto, olviden el pasado, en tanto hayan aprendido su lección. Perdonen a todos y a ustedes mismos, y sigan avanzando; eso es lo correcto. ¿Quién de los presentes en esta sala no ha cometido nunca un error? ¿Quién ha sido perfecto desde el primer día? Nadie; todos aprendieron y siguieron avanzando.

No se afiancen en la negatividad. La negatividad es muy peligrosa. Si los atrapa, les succionará toda la energía y el entusiasmo, dejándolos muy débiles. Por eso, abriguen pensamientos positivos, como «Soy Dios». Pensar que son seres humanos es un error. Piensen que son Dios, que son divinos; vivan en consecuencia, y sus errores no se repetirán.

And here is what Swami said:

QUESTION: Thank You so much Swami for Your divine wisdom. I have a question about forgiveness. The times when, maybe, I have done something wrong, I can be very hard on myself. Considering that we are bound to fall sometimes, could You please advise on how to forgive and love ourselves on the journey?

SWAMI: This is also very important. Forgiving others, is, clearly easier, but forgiving oneself is far more difficult. You see, as a child in primary school, you may have made some silly mistakes; you may not have been able to add up two and two to make four because you were just learning. As a result, you might have got bad marks in the primary school because you did not do your arithmetic properly. After growing up, if you looked back to your primary school days and are unable to forgive yourself for not being able to add two and two to make four, isn’t it foolishness? At that time, in those circumstances, in such situations, it could happen -- and yes, if it was a mistake, so be it. Now you have grown and you know that you have made mistakes, owing to the time, place and circumstances that were prevailing then. You can’t call yourself a fool now, because you made a mistake in your primary school. You can’t go on condemning yourself for that one mistake which you made sometime ago. You are able to do many more things now according to your age and your education. What has happened in the past, due to the situations and circumstances prevailing then, cannot define your entire life. I always say, “Past is past, forget the past.” If you know that you have made a mistake, you now have an opportunity to correct it and avoid making it again. Many people don’t even know that they are making a mistake, and go on living blissfully in ignorance. It is as if you get on the wrong bus and nod off, and don’t realize where you are going -- you are just happy that the bus is moving but, ultimately, you end up in the wrong place and it’s too late to go back. At least you have realized that you are on the wrong bus, that you were not aware, you step off, take the right bus and move on with your journey. What is lost cannot be recovered, but you still have so much more which can be saved. Look at what you have, not what you have lost. Past is past, forget the past. Present is omnipresent, whatever you do now will define your future. Therefore, know that God loves you all and, like a loving Mother and Father, He will forgive you if you truly repent from your heart. When God is ready to forgive you, why should you not forgive yourself? Thank God for reminding you now that you made a mistake and letting you know that you can correct it and not repeat it again -- seek God’s help and move on. You are no different from God. These are things that you only learn as you grow. 

A mistake is not a mistake, if it is not repeated. Therefore, you should simply forgive yourself for having done wrong. Don’t brood over the past; you cannot look backwards and walk forwards. You have to look forward and walk forward. Therefore, forget about the past as long as you have learned your lesson, forgive everyone and yourself and continue to move forward; that is the right way. Who in this hall has never made a mistake? Who has been perfect from day one? No one; everybody learned and moved forward. Don’t dwell on negativity. Negativity is very dangerous. If it grabs you, it will suck away all your energy and enthusiasm and render you very weak. Therefore, dwell on positive thoughts, such as, ‘I am God.’ Thinking that you are a human being is a mistake -- think that you are God, you are Divine, and live accordingly and your mistakes won’t be repeated.

En el satsang un devoto pregunto a Swami lo siguiente : 

Pregunta: 

Hay mucha confusión sobre este tema, pero ¿podría decirnos si Prema Sai ya ha nacido, o cuando va a nacer?

Swami: 

Si no hablo hay confusión; si hablo habrá más confusión! Todo el mundo tiene que nacer; el próximo Avatar tiene que venir y tiene que venir en un cuerpo. Prema Sai nace, pero sólo en el momento adecuado, se va revelar al mundo. Eso es todo. No voy a responder a dónde, cuándo, cómo; Realmente no importa si Él nace en un lugar u otro, o cuando se va a revelar su presencia; todas estas son preguntas superficiales...

Al igual que todos los avatares, Sathya Sai vino, que experimentaron?, que entendieron ? que aprendieron?- pero cuánto han transformado? No hay razón en buscar un próximo maestro. Aprendan a hacer su tarea en primer lugar porque, si no podían aprender de Sathya Sai, no hay manera de que puedan aprender de Prema Sai tampoco. Sathya Sai le enseñó las lecciones en el aula. Ahora, vayan y hagan su tarea, y cuando regresen a la clase de Prema Sai, ustedes entenderán mejor.

A la edad apropiada, de 14 años se revelará al mundo. Esto no es prasava; es pravesha. No es un nacimiento humano física ordinaria, sino una encarnación. Ellos eligen donde quieren nacer y con quien quieren nacer - pero, al igual que Shirdi Baba no dijo que era Shirdi Baba hasta que tenía 14 años; Sai Baba no dijo que era Sai Baba hasta que tenía 14 años; Del mismo modo, Prema Sai Baba, a pesar de que él está en el mundo, no va a decir que Él es Prema Sai Baba hasta que Él tenga 14 años. Así que saben que, cuando el discípulo está preparado, aparecerá el gurú.

Si están listo para recibir a Prema Sai, ustedes no tienen que preocuparse por Él; Él vendrá a buscarlos. El encontrará una manera de estar con ustedes.

Ahora hablo mucho - He estado hablando y continuaré hablando, pero Prema Sai no es tan hablador como soy yo- el SILENCIO es el lenguaje de Prema Sai. Los que no pueden entender el silencio no lo van a entender. La presencia del Maestro es, en sí, magnéticos, pero sólo los hierros que están libres de polvo y moho se sentirán atraídos por el imán. Sólo aquellos devotos que están libres de egoísmo y el apego, se sentirán atraídos por Prema Sai y serán capaz de entenderlo.

Soy un profesor tan pobre! Voy a sortear lo que les ayudará a pasar el examen. Estoy diciendo que este es un momento de oro a su disposición para prepararse, con el fin de estar en su presencia. Si hacen bien su tarea y revisaran todas las lecciones que han aprendido, se gana mucho cuando él está cerca.

Shirdi Sai vino por un solo estado en la India y viajó en su mayoría dentro de ese estado. Sai Baba vino para la nación y viajó por toda la nación. Prema Sai está viniendo por todo el mundo y Él va a viajar por todo el mundo; Sólo estoy preparando para su llegada. Estoy preparando el suelo, yo estoy quitando las malas hierbas y luego sembrar las semillas, por lo que cuando llega la temporada y llueve, las semillas crecen en las plantas. Una etapa fue la misión de Shirdi Sai, el siguiente Sathya Sai y, por último, la misión de Prema Sai. Es como correr una carrera de relevos; la primera persona corre, pasa el testigo a la segunda corredor, y la segunda persona dirige su regazo y pasa el testigo al tercer corredor. Sólo aquellos que tienen un boleto se les permitirá subir a bordo. La PUREZA es su boleto de abordo del avión de Prema Sai, por lo que sólo aquellos que son puros encontrarán su lugar. Que sepan esto, es mucho más que suficiente. Si están listos, Prema Sai los buscará. Ustedes no tienen que perder su tiempo y esfuerzo en buscarlo a Él; más bien, pasen ese tiempo preparándose. Desháganse de todo ego y apegos, conviértanse en puros, libre de óxido y polvo, para que puedan ser transformados por el imán de la Divinidad en su presencia.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: There is a lot of confusion on this topic, but could you tell us if little Prema Sai has already been born or when he will be born? 

Swami: If I do not speak there is confusion; if I speak there will be more confusion! Everybody has to be born; the next Avatar has to come and he has to come in a body. Prema Sai is born, but only at the appropriate time, will He reveal it to the world. That is all. I am not going to answer where, when, how; it really does not matter whether He is born in one place or another, or when He is going to reveal His presence; all these are superficial questions. 

Like all Avatars, Sathya Sai came, you experienced, you understood, you learned – but how much have you transformed? There is no point in looking to the next teacher. Learn to do your homework first because, if you could not learn from Sathya Sai, there is no way you can learn from Prema Sai, either. Sathya Sai taught to you lessons in the classroom. Now, go and do your homework, and when you return for the class of Prema Sai, you will understand better.

At the appropriate age of 14, He will reveal Himself to the world. This is not prasava; it is pravesha. It is not an ordinary physical human birth, but an incarnation. They choose where they want to be born and to whom they want to be born – but, just as Shirdi Baba did not say He was Shirdi Baba until He was 14; Sathya Sai Baba did not say He was Sathya Sai Baba until He was 14; similarly, Prema Sai Baba, even though He is in the world, is not going to say that He is Prema Sai Baba until He is 14. So know that, when the disciple is ready, the guru will appear.

If you are ready to receive Prema Sai, you do not have to look for Him; He will come looking for you. If you are ready, He will seek you and will find a way to be with you.

Now I talk a lot – I have been talking and will continue to talk, but Prema Sai is not as talkative as I am – silence is the language of Prema Sai. Those who cannot understand silence will not understand Him. The presence of the Master is, itself, magnetic, but only the irons bars which are free from dust and rust will be attracted to the magnet. Only those devotees who are free from selfishness and attachment, will be attracted to Prema Sai and be able to understand Him.

I am such a poor teacher! I am giving away what will help you pass the exam. I am telling you that this is a golden time available to you to prepare yourselves, in order to be in His presence. If you do your homework well and revise all the lessons you have learned, you will gain much when He is around.

Shirdi Sai came for just one state in India and He travelled mostly within that state. Sathya Sai Baba came for the nation and travelled around the whole nation. 

Prema Sai is coming for the entire world and He is going to travel around the world; I am just preparing for his coming. I am preparing the soil, I am removing the weeds and then sowing the seeds, so that when the season comes and it rains, the seeds will grow into plants. One stage was the mission of Shirdi Sai, the next Sathya Sai and, finally, the mission of Prema Sai. It is like running a relay race; the first person runs, passes the baton to the second runner, and the second person runs his lap and passes the baton to the third runner. What the first person does helps the second person and what the second person does, helps the third person. Then, the third person runs and finishes the race. What Shirdi Baba did was part of the mission of Sathya Sai. What Sathya Sai Baba did, was part of the mission of Prema Sai. I am travelling around the world, preparing places, centers and people, in order to make them ready to receive the next Avatar. It accelerates with every lap completed, like an aircraft that takes off slowly – but there is only a limited number of seats on every plane. Only those who have a ticket will be .
