Hoy en día es el auspicioso Maha Shivaratri, la gran noche de Shiva !. Sumido en una sensación de euforia como los días de oro en el pasado, tiempos con el Amado Bhagavan, quién era Shiva-Shakti encarnado, Prashanti volvió resplandeciente esta mañana acusando vibraciones divinas cuando amaneció el día, en este pueblo santo. Mientras sombrillas coloridas añadían belleza al resplandeciente Sai Kulwant Hall, el Sancta Sanctorum tuvo un esplendor añadido, con el asiento especial de la Divina adornado con una sombrilla de oro y plata, brillando en esplendor.
Comenzando los trabajos del día, la banda de percusión de la Universidad, tanto Nadaswaram y panchavadyam, tocaron durante media hor,a anunciando el augurio de la ocasión, mientras que los cantos de los Vedas continuaban como estaba previsto, hasta las 08.30 hrs.
A las 08.30 hrs., A partir de las ofrendas a Rudra el Señor Sai como Ishvara, los chicos comenzaron su entrega con Vishwanathashtakam seguido por Lingashtakam y muchos otros himnos que incluyeron algunas piezas Carnatic brillantes, duró una hora. Los Bhajans continuaron durante los siguientes veinte minutos y prasadam especial se distribuyó a todo el público. Los más pequeños de la escuela primaria se fueron derechito a los Divinos Pies de Loto para ofrecer obras de arte de amor a su Swami querido. El Mangala Arathi se ofreció a las 09.50 horas.
En la víspera del comienzo del Akhanda bhajans a la hora prevista, a las 18.00 hrs., Lingabhishekam se llevará a cabo en el Sancta Sanctorum, ofrenda sagrada al Lingam, que comenzara a las 16.30 horas. Antes de que el Lingam Sai Ishvara, fuera santificado por las manos divinas durante el Ati Rudra Maha Yajña en el año 2006, era llevado a la sede en una procesión a partir de Bhajan Hall.
El inicio de la vigilia de la larga noche , Akhanda Bhajan, comenzará a las 18:00 hrs., para continuar hasta las 06:00 horas en la mañana.

Today is auspicious Maha Shivarathri, the Great Night Of Lord Shiva! Engulfed with euphoric feeling of golden days in the past, of the times with Beloved Bhagawan Who is verily Shiva-Shakthi incarnated, Prasanthi turned resplendent this morning charged with Divine vibrations as the day dawned in this holy township. While colourful parasols added beauty to the resplendent Sai Kulwant Hall, the Sanctum Sanctorum had an added splendour, with the special Seat Of The Divine adorned with a golden-silver parasol, standing out shining in brilliance.
Commencing the day’s proceedings, University Percussion Band, both Nadaswaram and Panchavadyam, played for half-an-hour heralding the auspiciousness of the occasion, while Veda chanting continued as scheduled, till 0830 hrs.
At 0830 hrs., beginning with offerings to Lord Rudra as Sai Easwara, boys began their rendition with Vishwanathashtakam followed by Lingashtakam and many other hymns that included some scintillating Carnatic pieces, lasted an hour. Bhajans continued for next twenty minutes and special prasadam was distributed to the entire audience. Tiny tots from the Primary School made a beeline to the Divine Lotus Feet offering handi-work of Love at their Beloved Swami. Mangala Arathi was offered at 0950 hrs.
In the evening before the commencement of the Akhanda Bhajans at the scheduled hour, at 1800 hrs., Lingabhishekam will be conducted in the Sanctum Sanctorum, sacred offering to the Linga, that commences at 1630 hrs. Prior to that the Sai Easwara Lingam, that was sanctified by the Divine Hands during the Ati Rudra Maha Yajna in the year 2006, will be brought to the venue in a procession starting from Bhajan Hall.
Initiating the night-long vigil, Akhanda Bhajan will commence at 1800 hrs. to continue till 0600 hrs. in the morning.
