DELTA DEL GODAVARI


Divina experiencia.


Bhagavan narró esta experiencia muchas veces que ocurrió hace treinta años.


Un devoto de Godavari Este había venido a Bhagavan y oró a Dios para venir a la ceremonia de la Pravesham Graha.

Swami aceptó su oración y fijo una fecha de cuando estaría allí. Incluso llegó a decir: "Voy a estar allí ese día a las 9:00 am" Teniendo en cuenta esta garantía divina, el devoto hizo todos los preparativos para la visita a su casa de Bhagavan, en el este de Godavari. Como de costumbre, las lluvias anuales llegaron y causando estragos en las vidas de las personas. Y ese año también llego un ciclón Godavari. Como el río Godavari comenzó a cargarse  de agua, lo mismo ocurrió en los corazones de los devotos con la oración. Pero Dios les había dado su palabra y les aseguró que él estará allí. Y tenían fe en eso. 

Swami dice: ". Es posible que haya personas que sufren porque no tienen fe, pero no hay nadie que vaya a ser decepcionado si tiene fe" En base ha esta certeza, es que se prepararan para recibir a Bhagavan en el este de Godavari.

Con todo esto en marcha, sin preocuparse de lo que ocurría entre Dios y sus devotos, la naturaleza siguió su curso y llovía sin cesar en el este de Godavari. La única conexión que el Godavari Este tenía con el resto del mundo era el viejo puente en Rajahumdry. Por razones obvias, los funcionarios del distrito cerraron el puente y no había transporte posible a través del río.

Pero Bhagavan había dicho que iría. Y así, en la fecha de prevista, partió con algunos dignatarios de Godavari Este. Cuando se acercaron al río los funcionarios del distrito trataron de disuadir de tratar de cruzar el puente.

Insistieron en que Swami tenía que declarara  que Él  tomaba el viaje bajo su propio riesgo. Considere la posibilidad de la ironía de la situación en la que Dios tenía que asegurarse de lo que hace.

Bhagavan escribió allí: "Nada va a sucederle a cualquier persona que este conmigo!" ¿Quién puede dar esa garantía, salvo el Señor del Universo? Y así, un pequeño barco fue arreglado para transportar a Bhagavan y cruzar el rió. Y estaba en una posición tal que debía pasar por debajo del puente.
Los devotos se reunieron a ambos lados del río para ver qué pasaba. A esta altura el nivel del agua había subido tan alto, que cuando el barco llegó el puente  azotaba el techo y no había absolutamente ningún espacio para que el barco pase por debajo de él. La gente esperaba con impaciencia y ansiedad preguntándose qué iba a suceder.

Bhagavan instruyó a la gente de el barco, "Cierren los ojos. No vean lo que sucederá. "Luego, en una fracción de segundo, el barco desapareció de repente y apareció en el otro lado!

Imaginen los gritos de los devotos de ambos lados ahogando el rugido del río. La alegría que se apoderó de su corazón era más grande incluso que la inundación que surgía desde el río Godavari. Y como había prometido, Bhagavan llegó a la casa exactamente a las 09 a.m. 
Durante una reunión pública dijo: "Cuando llegué como Rama, el mar me dio paso ! Cuando llegué como Krishna, Yamuna me dio paso! Cuando llegué como Sai, que es Godavari ? "

Divine Experience.

Bhagavan narrated this experience many times which happened thirty years ago.


A devotee from East Godavari had come to Bhagavan and prayed to Him to come for a house warming ceremony – the Graha Pravesham.

Swami consented to his prayer and fixed a date when He would be there. He even said, “I will be there on that day at 9:00 a.m.” Given this Divine assurance, the devotee made all preparations for Bhagavan to visit his home in East Godavari. As usual, the yearly rains came and played havoc with the lives of the people. And that year too a cyclone hit East Godavari. As the Godavari River began to swell, so too did the hearts of the devotees with prayer. But God had given them His word and assured them that He will be there. And they had belief in that.

Swami says: “There may be people who suffer because they do not have Faith, but there is no one who will be let down if he has Faith.” Based on this assurance, they made ready to receive Bhagavan in East Godavari.

With all this going on, unmindful of what transpired between God and His devotees, Nature continued to pour down relentlessly on East Godavari. The only connection East Godavari had with the rest of the world was the old bridge at Rajahumdry. For obvious reasons, the district officials closed the bridge and no transportation was now possible across the river.

But Bhagavan had said He would go. And so, on the due date, He set forth with a few dignitaries to East Godavari. When they approached the river it was in full spate. The district officials tried to dissuade the party from attempting to cross the bridge.

They insisted that Swami had to give a declaration that He is taking the journey at His own risk. Consider the irony of the situation where God had to assure them of what He does.

Bhagavan wrote there: “Nothing will happen to anyone who is with Me!” Who can give this assurance except the Lord of the Universe? And so, a small boat was arranged to ferry Bhagavan across to the other side. And it was in such a position that it had to go under the bridge to reach the far shore.

The devotees gathered on either side of the river to see what would happen. By now the water level had risen so high that when the boat reached the bridge it was lashing the roof and there was absolutely no space for the boat to pass beneath it. The people waited eagerly and anxiously wondering what would happen.

Bhagavan instructed the people in the boat, “Close your eyes. Do not watch what will happen.” Then, in a fraction of a second, the boat suddenly disappeared and appeared on the other side!

Imagine the roar of the devotees on both sides drowning out the roar of the river. The joy that surged through their hearts was greater even than the flood arising from the Godavari River. And as promised, Bhagavan reached the home at exactly 9:00 a.m. During a public meeting He said, “When I came as Rama, the ocean gave way; it had to give! When I came as Krishna , Yamuna gave way! When I came as Sai, what is Godavari?”
