SRI.RATNAKAR'S EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW ABOUT THE RECENT HAPPENINGS IN PUTTAPARTHI.
Om Sairam dearest Sai Family
For the past few weeks, Puttaparthi is again in the headlines and this time for a very peculiar reason which a Sai Devotee would not have thought of or dreamt, of even in his wildest dreams. The repeated telecasts of possible happenings and MIShappenings in Puttaparthi after Swami's hospitalisation had just become silent and suddenly the media woke up after 35lakh rupees were seized in a car which came from Puttaparthi, on the Andhra, Karnataka border just few kilometers before the Toll gate. It was alleged that the money belonged to the Trust and few Trustees had a role in it(ofcourse in the recent press meet every thing was clarified by Swami's Trust).
Some TV channels didn't stop the mudslinging yet. A week ago, some reporters and cameramen of one particular TV channel(dont want to mention their names as i don't want to publicise their names even indirectly as their purpose of cheap publicity will be satisfied by doing so) which was telecasting some maligning stories, was chased by the flower girls whom we see infront of Ganesha Gate. It is worth mentioning about these MODERN DAY RADHAs, as I have been watching them for years. Their love for Swami is very pure and intense. Whenever Swami blessed with Street darshans, these flower girls, even though they might not have had sold any flowers that day or that day would be a festival when flowers are in great demand, they still take as many flowers as they can from their baskets and shower them on Swami's car. Swami used to look at them with immense love for their gesture which speaks about their love they have for Swami.
When some misleading stories about Swami were aired in that particular TV channel, all the girls, women chased them away from Parthi. They said you may say anything about some individuals but if you speak ill of our Swami we will not let you enter Puttaparthi.
Even according to Indian culture and I am sure it is the same all over the world, no matter how a person lived his life but atleast after his death, we tend to speak the good done by that person as it is not auspicious and ethical to speak anything bad of a person who has left his or her mortal coil.
Our Lord, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, lead a life of Pure and unsullied love, there was nothing that He wanted for Himself but He craved for our happiness all through His life. His concern for us was so intense that He didn't even bother about His health or His physical well being. Can any one dare to point finger on Avatar of this Kaliage? Ofcourse these media reports about Swami are disturbing and many of us are doing our best to inform their BAD KARMA but if they are not in a position to listen then it is their BAD KARMA that will spoil their lives....
Inspite of this so called CONFUSION the Veda chantings, bhajans are going on as scheduled. So also are the schools and hospitals and various other institutions started by Swami...Another section of the media reported that after Swami's Mahasamadhi the number devotees coming to Parthi has come down drastically. Any one can check with their friends as how many people are there now in Puttaparthi. On 2nd July a big family from South Africa came to Puttaparthi and they had a wedding performed in Hanuman Temple according to Hindu tradition. Talking on this ocassion, the groom's mother, Ms.Sylvie Govender said: for us Puttaparthi will remain dear to heart inspite of Swami's physical absence. We are very fortunate to be in Sai's fold and it is my son's great fortune to get married in Puttaparthi where my Lord was born.(some pictures from the wedding are also attached)
The media also reported that number of sevadals coming to Parthi has come down and the Trust is planning to recruit some permanent sevadals, which again is completely untrue. The present batch of sevadals are from Rajasthan and Kerala. The number of sevadals are more than enough for smooth running of the business. According to one District President of Sathya Sai Organisations of Rajasthan, atleast 40% of the present sevadal batch have come for the first time to Puttaparthi. They have never seen Swami in physical form and can anyone question their devotion? How many can afford to have that spirit of surrender?
Many sisters and brothers are emailing me asking if it is safe to travel to Parthi during this TROUBLED times, as apparently they were told that some protesters disturbed the proceedings in Sai Kulwanth hall, which is not true and just a misleading news... There is no one who entered the ashram with demonstrations in the past and also in the present. Prasanthi will be the SAFEST place in the world for eternity and beyond.
As Gurupoornima is fast approaching and also the World Youth conference, devotees from overseas are already thronging to Prasanthi. The Samadhi is scheduled to be ready for darshan on 15th July in the morning.
Sri.Ratnakar, Swami's nephew (brother's son) who is also one of the Trustees, gave an exclusive interview to discuss what exactly happened since Swami's hospitalisation and later. This interview was done on 2nd July 2011. Please click the follwing YOUTUBE link to watch the video
