La Educación Sri Sathya Sai, revolución radical a través de Karnataka, por B.Aravind.
El Divino 'método', inicio del proyecto.
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba ha sido el iniciador de proyectos de servicios sociales de una magnitud sin precedentes , hospitales de súper especialidades, proyectos de abastecimiento de agua que ofrecen agua potable a millones de pobres, proyectos de reconstrucción de hogares para las personas afectadas por los desastres naturales, el proyecto de reconstrucción de la aldea para convertir cada un pueblo en auto-sostenible , y lo más importante, los proyectos de educación para impartir a los alumnos el verdadero significado de la educación. Cómo estos impresionantes proyectos se realizaron, se puede leer sobre algunos de ellos, en un artículo titulado, " Cuando Swami lee los periódicos ... ".
Definitivamente hay una diferencia entre la forma en que el mundo en general define un proyecto y la forma en que el Divino planea del proyecto. Cuando el mundo planea un proyecto, hay un montón de trabajo de recopilación de datos de inteligencia para evaluar la viabilidad del proyecto. Luego, se realiza la comprobación para determinar los recursos, humanos, materiales y financieros, necesarios para el proyecto. Se estima un periodo de tiempo y se generan informes sobre las necesidades futuras de recursos para la ejecución y mantenimiento del proyecto. Entonces, cuando todo está en su lugar, el proyecto se anuncia. Con lo divino, el proyecto se anuncia simplemente, como una cuestión de hecho, como si el proyecto ya estuviese hecho! . Todo lo demás, cae en su lugar en el tiempo y el proyecto en realidad se hace!
El secreto del "estilo Divino ".
"Y esto sucede porque la Voluntad Divina es tan poderosa", sería la conclusión. Pero Swami ve de otro modo, como Él dice:
"Si hay algo que se proyecta con pureza en el corazón, los recursos y todo lo demás que es necesario surgen automáticamente. La pureza de intención y el propósito, son todo lo que se necesita. No se trata de que yo sea Dios. La única diferencia entre tú y yo es que, mientras yo sé que soy Dios, tu sigues siendo ignorante ".
(Por supuesto, esto no es una declaración de un discurso único. Este es el espíritu de lo que Swami ha dicho a través de cientos de discursos !. La revolución educativa de la que quiero hablar esta en línea con este "estilo divino '.
El nacimiento de la Revolución Educativa en Karnataka.
Exactamente en el momento en que Swami decidió abandonar lo físico y todo el mundo estaba perdido en el 'duelo', me enteré de algo que me sorprendió porque era muy parecido al "estilo de Swami. Llegué a escuchar que el 'señor alcalde' de mis días de estudiante, Sri B N Narasimhamoorthy, se había atrevido a aventurarse en un camino muy difícil.
Había anunciado que habría una Escuela Sathya Sai en todos los distritos del estado de Karnataka. Eso significaba un mínimo de 30 escuelas!.
No sólo dijo eso, él también declaró la fecha en que estas escuelas se crearían y cada escuela seria construida en un periodo de tiempo de 6-9 meses! .
¿De dónde saldrían los recursos?¿Qué planificación ha hecho? ¿Cómo puede un hombre de su estatura y naturaleza (que es bien conocido en todos los círculos Sai como una persona de planificación impecable y un gran amante de Swami), hacer esa "promesa" sin pensarlo dos veces o sin ninguna planificación previa.
Sólo había dos maneras de explicar esto:
1. El hombre se había vuelto loco en su dolor después de la partida de Swami y no sabía lo que estaba diciendo.
2. Swami lo había 'poseído', por lo que sus palabras eran en realidad un reflejo de las palabras de Swami.
Hoy, cuando miro hacia atrás en los acontecimientos, me veo obligado a concluir que es el último caso.
El papel vital de la educación.
No es de extrañar que Swami ha inspirado y bendecido personalmente a esta persona para hacer esta aventura en el campo de la educación.
"El Mandirs Saraswati se han convertido en el mandirs Lakshmi hoy!", se lamentó en su tratado sobre la educación inspiradora Vidya Vahini.
La comercialización de la educación es uno de los desastres más importantes de los tiempos modernos que ha alterado el objetivo de las instituciones educativas, en hacer dinero '. En una sociedad donde la educación se vende por dinero, los hombres y las mujeres se venden por dinero llevando a la quiebra la moral y la ética en la vida personal y pública. Y todos los problemas del mundo comienzan a partir de ahí. La mala educación es la causa raíz de todos los problemas de la sociedad, y Swami ataca en las raíces mismas. Esa es la inspiración y motivo de todas sus escuelas e instituciones educativas.
El 19 de noviembre 2012 vio la inauguración de una escuela más. Como cito Sri. B N Narasimhamoorthy en el Vahini Amruta trimestral. ".... Por la voluntad divina y la gracia de Bhagavan Baba, la primera escuela en el distrito de Gulbarga ya ha comenzado a funcionar en las afueras de la aldea Navanihalli cerca de la ciudad Kamalapur. El Instituto educativo de 45 acres, que ha sido bautizado, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketanam, está situado en un entorno pintoresco, exquisitamente en una loma con pendiente hacia el este y el norte. Una escuela secundaria se inició aquí, con el año académico que comenzó en junio de 2012. La escuela funciona mitad en Inglés y mitad en Kannada, hasta el 8 º grado, y los 123 estudiantes han estado recibiendo los beneficios del Sistema Sri Sathya Sai de Educación. De ellos, 110 estudiantes residen en el campus, mientras que 13 son provenientes de las aldeas locales. Todos ellos están siendo impartidos con alta calidad educativa en la formación del carácter, absolutamente libre de costo.
La ceremonia de inauguración o el Pooja Bhoomi para el campus se llevó a cabo el 21 de noviembre de 2011, el Somavaram Karthika en que Swami nació según el calendario lunar. Por su omnipotente voluntad, la inauguración del majestuoso edificio tuvo lugar exactamente el 19 de noviembre 2012, que también pasó a ser un Somavaram Karthika. Es uno de sus milagros gloriosos que demuestra al mundo que Él está siempre activo en el cumplimiento de su misión divina de Dharmasthapana(establecimiento de la justicia en el mundo). Es un milagro más para los que estaban asociados con él desde sus inicios y que están convencidos de que no son más que instrumentos en las manos de Swami. Mientras que algunos ofrecieron su tiempo y energía, otros ofrecieron su riqueza en el altar de la Misión Educativa Divina. Debemos saludar a todos ".
El lugar elegido para el Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketanam
La fundación está puesto. Pero la base real se basa en la fe y amor a Dios.
La construcción avanza rápidamente.

El edificio terminado perfectamente en sintonía con el bosquejo . La hierba puede ser que falte en la imagen, pero la revolución de la educación a nivel popular está floreciendo! La estatua de la "Diosa Saraswati" delante parece anunciar las intenciones santas!
Más evidencia del estilo "Divino".
Al igual que el poderoso río Ganges que comienza como un arroyo de montaña, los comienzos de todas las cosas magníficas y eternas suelen ser pequeñas. Cuando Swami comenzó Su universidad, los estudiantes se ajustaban y vivían en alojamientos improvisados. Las comodidades eran casi nulas, pero sus almas se regocijaban porque sabían que lo que estaban haciendo era un lujo que ningún Divino tesoro del mundo podría impartir. Fue increíble ver que los niños y los maestros / personal del Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketanam, también mostraron la misma energía, entusiasmo, tenacidad, y sobre todo, el amor por Swami, que los estudiantes de su universidad había demostrado en las etapas iniciales de el Instituto de Educación Superior. Estaban dispuestos a estudiar y trabajar a partir de aulas y oficinas improvisadas.

Entrevistas elaboradas pero muy agradable se llevaron a cabo después de los exámenes de ingreso.
Los estudiantes también estaban contentos con el espíritu de los maestros y administradores. Ellos comenzaron su año académico 2012-2013 en aulas improvisadas.

Las historias de cómo la ayuda ha llegado desde lugares inesperados y de maneras inesperadas, son un tema de cientos de artículos especiales. Swami parecía tener todo planificado allanando el camino a Sri Narasimhamurthi. En el momento adecuado, las cosas automáticamente caían en su lugar como un reloj. No sólo Swami vino en sus sueños y visiones, Él también apareció en varios sueños y visiones de otras personas , dándoles instrucciones sobre lo que debía hacerse. Y así, el trabajo ha estado sucediendo por la Familia Divina - donde cada uno vive para el otro y todos viven para Dios, con una fe firme en la hermandad del hombre y la paternidad de Dios.
Swami ha mantenido su promesa, con pureza de intención y un propósito, no habrá escasez!.
Y esto se puede ver en las declaraciones finales, que hace en su editorial. Su fe es firme y está lleno de confianza porque está siendo respaldado por Swami. (¿Cómo si no?) "
El próximo proyecto será llevado a cabo en el Distrito Mandya en el pueblo de Maradevanahalli, una escuela secundaria se iniciará allí en junio de 2013. El tercer proyecto, se va a plantear en el distrito selvático de Chikmagalore en la aldea de Jayapura cerca del centro de peregrinación famoso, Sringeri.
Es una escuela residencial para niños que está siendo ejecutada en este pueblo, por un equipo de profesores muy motivados con una gestión igualmente motivadora. El nuevo campus será una escuela residencial para niñas que también se iniciara en junio de 2013. La sede del distrito de Mandya se llamara Sri Sathya Sai Sharada Niketanam, y en el distrito Chikmagalore, es Sri Sathya Sai Sri Niketanam.
El distrito de Bagalkot ha sido elegido por Él para fundar el proyecto de la cuarta escuela que se espera que comience a funcionar en junio de 2014. Será en el pueblo cerca de Chikkur Mudhol. Cincuenta hectáreas de tierra han sido ofrecidos de manera gratuita, a sus pies de loto, por los aldeanos del lugar. ¿Quién puede decir que Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba no está en medio de nosotros hoy en día?
Bienaventurados los de corazón limpio, porque ellos verán a su Señor .... "
Swami bendice a los egresados de las escuelas de Muddenahalli, que se han presentado para formar el Saraswati Sathya Sai Trust.
Swami bendice a un miembro clave del Sathya Sai Trust Saraswati que se constituyó el 7 de octubre de 2011.
La inspiración fue tan noble: De 3000 niños que se presentaron a la Alma Mater Saraswati, sólo 500 fueron seleccionados. El resto son rechazados y se retiran abatidos por no conseguir su oportunidad. Pronto tendremos suficientes escuelas para acoger a todos aquellos que buscan el sistema de educación de Swami .
Estos alumnos han sido cuidados y nutridos con amor por su Señor desde que eran niños.
Muchos de los "arbolitos" en esta fotografía se han convertido hoy en "árboles", para la concesión de sombra, que estremece el corazón del Divino 'jardinero'.
Una nota final.
Toda persona que marcha por el camino de la justicia y del amor, tendrá críticos atacando. Incluso nuestro querido Baba no se salvó de eso! Cualesquiera que sean las críticas, en mi corazón, estoy convencido de que hay definitivamente inspiración divina en la formación del Sri Sathya Sai Trust Saraswati y en la realización del proyecto prometido de las escuelas en todo Karnataka.
Como mi hermano mayor, Nitin Acharya dijo, "Ahora entendí un significado más de lo que Swami dijo:" Yo fui uno .. y me hice muchos "- la misión de Sai se propaga. Este es uno de los muchos, " Nada puede detener la gloria de Swami ya que es la gloria divina. Nada puede obstaculizar su misión, procederá con nosotros o a pesar de nosotros. Sus métodos de trabajo son extraordinarios todo lo abarca y son únicos.
¿Por qué una persona de 65 años que ha logrado todo el respeto, el amor, alegría y satisfacción en la vida, ha de embarcarse en una tarea ardua y difícil, aparentemente de múltiples Escuelas Sai ? ¿Por qué iba a hacer la siguiente declaración? :
"Yo estoy singularmente bendecido de estar asociado con su misión y voy a dedicar el resto de mi vida para sus proyectos educativos. Voy a trabajar para ellos hasta mi último aliento y será la base, el destino y el cumplimiento de mi vida que Él amorosamente nutre desde mis días de adolescente! "
La respuesta es simple. Es Swami, Swami y Swami todo el camino.

The Sri Sathya Sai Education revolution sweeping across Karnataka, by B.Aravind.
The Divine ‘Method’ of project initiation.
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been the initiator of social service projects of unprecedented magnitude - super specialty hospitals, water supply projects offering drinking water to millions of poor, home-rebuilding projects for those affected by natural disasters, village-rebuilding projects to convert every village into a self-sustaining and ideal one and, most importantly, education projects to impart to the students the true meaning of education. How these different projects came about are awesome stories in themselves and you can read about some of them in an article entitled, ‘When Swami read the newspapers...’.
There is definitely a difference between the way the world usually plans a project and the way the Divine plans the project. When the world plans a project, there is a lot of intelligence gathering work that goes on to assess project feasibility. Then, check is done to determine resources - human, material and financial - necessary for the project. A timeline is drawn and reports are generated on the future need of resources for running and maintaining the project. Then, when everything is in place, the project is announced. With the Divine, the project is simply announced - as a matter of fact, as if the project is already done! Everything else, falls in place in the due time and the project indeed gets done!
The secret behind the ‘Divine style’
“And this happens because the Divine Will is so powerful”, would be anybody’s conclusion. But Swami begs to differ as He says,
“If anything is taken up with purity in the heart, resources and everything else that is necessary will automatically pour. Purity of intent and purpose are all that are needed. It is not about me being God. The only difference between you and me is that whereas I know that am God, you are still ignorant.”
(Of course, this is not a readymade statement from a single discourse. This the the spirit of what Swami has said through hundreds of discourses!)
The Education Revolution that I want speak about is so much in line with this ‘Divine Style’.
The birth of the Education Revolution in Karnataka
Exactly at the time when Swami decided to leave the physical and everyone was lost in ‘mourning’, I heard about something that amazed me because it was so much like the ‘Swami style’. I came to know that ‘warden sir’ from my undergraduate days, Sri B.N.Narasimhamoorthy, had made bold to venture on a very difficult path. He had announced that there would be a Sathya Sai School in every district of the state of Karnataka. That meant a minimum of 30 schools! Not only did he say that, he also stated the schedule in which these schools would come up and each school was spaced in the timeline by just 6-9 months!
Where did he have the resources? What planning has he done? How can a man of his stature and nature (he is well known in all Sai circles as a person of immaculate planning and a great lover of Swami) make such a ‘promise’ without a second thought or any prior planning. There were only 2 ways to explain this:
1. The man had gone crazy in his sorrow after Swami’s departure and did not know what he was saying.
2. Swami had so ‘possessed’ him that his words were actually a reflection of Swami’s words.
Today, when I look back at the happenings, I am forced to conclude that it is the latter case.
The vital role of Education
It is not surprising that Swami has inspired and personally blessed a person to make this ‘ad’venture in the field of education.
“Saraswati mandirs have become Lakshmi mandirs today!”, He lamented in His inspiring treatise on education Vidya Vahini. Commercialisation of education is one of the major disasters in modern times which has altered the goal of educational institutions from ‘man-making’ to ‘money-making’. In a society where education is sold for money, men and women will sell themselves for money leading to bankruptcy of morality and ethics in personal and public life. And all the problems of the world begin from there. Bad Education is the root cause for all problems in society and Swam strikes at the very roots. That is the inspiration and motive of all His schools and educational institutions.
The 19th of November 2012 saw the grand opening of one more such school. I quote from the editorial by Sri.B.N.Narasimhamoorthy in the Amruta Vahini quarterly.
“....By the divine will and grace of Bhagawan Baba, the first school in Gulbarga district has already started functioning on the outskirts of Navanihalli village near Kamalapur town. The 45-acre educational campus, which has been christened, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketanam is situated in an exquisitely picturesque setting on a hillock sloping towards the east and the north. A high school was started here with the academic year starting in June 2012. The school operated in English medium and Kannada medium in the 8th grade and 123 students have been getting the benefit of the Sri Sathya Sai System of Education. Of these, 110 students reside on campus while 13 are day scholars coming from local villages. All of them are being imparted with high-quality, character-building education, absolutely free of cost.
The ground-breaking ceremony or the Bhoomi Pooja for the campus was performed on the 21st of November 2011, theKarthika Somavaram on which Swami was born according to the lunar calendar. By His almighty will, the inauguration of the divinely-crafted, majestic building took place exactly on the 19th of November 2012 which also happened to be a Karthika Somavaram. It is one of His glorious miracles which demonstrates to the world that He is ever active in carrying out His Divine Mission of Dharmasthapana (establishment of righteousness in the world). It is a greater miracle for those who were associated with it since inception and they are convinced that they are just instruments in Swami’s hands. While some offered their time and energy, some others offered their wealth at the altar of the Divine Educational Mission. We should salute them all."

The foundation is laid. But the actual foundation was based on faith and love for God.
The construction progresses rapidly.

The vision of the completed building which was used as the guiding force for the engineers...
The completed building perfectly in sync with the vision. The grass might be missing in the picture but the education revolution at the grassroots level is flourishing! The statue of "Goddess Saraswati" in front seems to announce the holy intentions!
More evidence of the ‘Divine Style’
Like the mighty Ganges river that begins as a mountain stream, the beginnings of all things grand and eternal are usually small. When Swami started His university, the students adjusted and lived in makeshift accommodation. The comforts were almost nil but their souls rejoiced for they knew that what they were getting was a Divine luxury that no treasures of the world could ever impart. It was amazing to see that the children and the teachers/staff of the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketanam too displayed the same energy, enthusiasm, tenacity and, most importantly, love for Swami that the students of His university had shown in the beginning stages of the Institute of Higher Learning.
They were ready to study and work from makeshift classrooms and offices. Rather than describe all that they did, a few pictures would save me a few thousand words!

Elaborate but very friendly interviews were conducted after the entrance exams.
The students too were happy at the spirit of the teachers and administrators. They began their Academic Year 2012-2013 in makeshift classrooms .

Swami keeps up His Promise
The stories of how help has come from unexpected quarters in unexpected ways are a subject of hundreds of special articles. Even Sri.B.N.Narasimhamoorthy was bowled over the way Swami seemed to have planned everything. At the right time, things automatically fell in place like clockwork. Not only did Swami come in his dreams and visions, He also appeared in several other people’s dreams and visions giving them instructions on what had to be done. And thus the work has been going in a Divine Family Fashion - where everyone lives for the other and all live for God with firm faith in the brotherhood of man and the fatherhood of God. Swami has kept up His assurance - anything taken up with purity of intent and purpose will face no shortage!
And this can be seen in the concluding statements the ‘warden sir’ makes in his editorial. His faith is resolute and confidence is brimming for it is being backed by Swami. (How else?)
“The next project will be brought up by Him in the Mandya District at Maradevanahalli village and a high school will be started there in June 2013. The third project will come up in the sylvan settings of the Chikmagalore district at Jayapura village near the celebrated pilgrimage centre, Sringeri. Already a residential school for boys is being run in this village by a team of highly motivated teachers with an equally motivated management. The new campus will be a residential school for girls which will also be started in June 2013. The campus in Mandya district is named Sri Sathya Sai Sharada Niketanam and in Chikmagalore district, it is Sri Sathya Sai Sri Niketanam.
Bagalkot district has been chosen by Him for founding the fourth school project which is expected to start functioning in June 2014. It will be at the village Chikkur near Mudhol. Fifty acres of land have been offered, free of cost, at His lotus feet by the villagers there. Who can say that Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is not amidst us today? Blessed are the pure in the heart for they shall see their Lord....”
Swami blesses the Alumni of the Alike and Muddenahalli schools who have come forward to form the Sathya Sai Saraswati Trust.
Swami blesses a key member of the the Sathya Sai Saraswati Trust which was formed on the 7th of October, 2011.
The inspiration was so noble: Out of 3000 children who apply to the Alma Mater, only 500 are selected. The rest are rejected and get dejected. We shall have enough schools to take in all those who seek Swami's system of education.
These alumni have been nourished and tended to lovingly by their Lord since they were kids.
Many of the 'saplings' in this photograph have today grown into 'trees' bearing fruits and granting shade that thrills the heart of the Divine 'gardener'.
A concluding note
Every person who marches along the path of righteousness and love will have critics lashing out. Even our dear Baba was not spared from that! Whatever may be the criticism, in my heart, I am convinced that there is definitely Divine Inspiration in the formation of the Sri Sathya Sai Saraswati Trust and the promised growth of schools all across Karnataka. As my senior brother, Nitin Acharya put it,
“Now I understood one more meaning of what Swami said, "I was one .. I became many" - Sai mission spreads through many wings. This is one among many such”
Nothing can stop Swami’s glory for it is Divine glory. Nothing can impede His mission - it will proceed with us or in spite of us. His ways of working are phenomenally all-encompassing and unique. Why else would a 65 year old person who has achieved all the respect, love, contentment and satisfaction in life embark on a seemingly arduous and difficult task of multiple Sai Schools on an annual basis? Why would he make the following statement?
“ I am singularly blessed to be associated with His mission and I will dedicate the rest of my life for His educational projects which He has been taking up after He shed His mortal coil too. I will work for them till my last breath and that will be the basis, destination and fulfillment for my life which He so lovingly nurtured from my teenage days!”
The answer is simple. It is Swami, Swami and Swami all the way.
