- Sri Madhusudan at 'Tattva Sameeksha' (Jan 21, 2019), Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.

('Tattva Sameeksha' is a Talk session by eminent speakers to the Ashram residents of Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli).

“I have got the audience that I always wanted, now! So, I am speaking what I want to speak!”

Let me share with you what happened this morning. It was an overwhelming conversation between the timeless God that Swami is and a tiny tot, a four year old, who is celebrating his birthday today. This little boy had come with questions, of course with a cake too, but being very shy he was not opening up. He was not asking anything to Swami. Then Swami asked his father as to why was the boy hiding behind? Why was he not asking anything? The father said, “Till now, he was asking us as to when he would be with Prema Sai?!” Swami replies to him that these children are all born because they have to be with Prema Sai! They are all coming here one by one, like the Rishis of the yore, who lodged themselves around Ayodhya when they realized that Lord Rama was going to be born. Though, Dasharatha and Kausalya, the parents could not understand the divinity of Rama but the Rishis had made their way to the forests around Ayodhya. Similarly, when Krishna had come, Gods and demigods were ready to take the form of cows and calves to be around Krishna to enjoy His proximity. Likewise, for this Avatar too, this is the way. The Rishis are now incarnating on earth in the form of these little boys and girls who are going to be around Swami and they are going to be serving Him in the next incarnation which is going to happen soon.

That apart, the parents who were sitting there said, “Swami! Yesterday’s discourse was wonderful. You explained and spoke in such a lucid way about the Truth of life, the purpose and the way you said it all was so very wonderful.”

Swami said to them,

“You know what, I have got the audience that I always wanted, now! So, I am speaking what I want to speak now! Earlier, I had a mixed bag of audience. There were Aartis; people who came to solve only their physical, family or financial problems. Also, there were people who wanted more in life- the Artharthis. They were never contented with what they had. They wanted wealth, name, power, position, next business opportunity and deal and things like that. Then there were Jijnasus; those who were curious to know the nature of God, the truth of Sai Baba. And there were also VERY VERY FEW Jnanis who were also there to receive My love and wisdom. But with the kind of audience I had then, I had to speak to please all of them, to give a message to all of them. That’s why I had to speak that way then.”

If you go back and think, Swami’s discourses earlier would go on for two hours at times and there was no real one common theme. It was generally a very diverse talk of distributed ideas, wherein there was something for everyone. Of course, at the end of the day, everybody had a message from Swami’s discourse. That is the way He catered to everyone’s palate. It was like a buffet, Swami used to say, anybody could pick up what they liked and take home. But today, Swami is vending perfectly customized menu for the Jnanis. That is what He is catering to now. He gives you only the pure absolute truth. And He said that I am able to speak this way because I have got the audience that I always wanted. So does He mean to say these boys in 10th grade and Pre University are the audience for the Tattva Jnana?

Swami said, “Yes! They are the audience! These seeds that are being sown in their hearts will take roots very soon.”

Swami went on to say, “These little children are not ordinary. Their bond with Me is very ancient. And I have brought them for My sake, for the sake of My work because at some point in time as a tree, as a mountain or as a river or as an animal, as a human or as an ascetic or a king; in some form or the other they have craved for My proximity and that is why they are getting it now.”

This is the reason why they are so receptive to what Swami is trying to tell them. Form or no form; does not matter to them because they are able to experience that love of Swami. This is a different genre, different tribe, different breed, and different generation of people all together. And if this is what they are at this age; one can only imagine what would they be like when they would be of our age, because they would have absorbed so much of purity, that they would be so strong in whatever they do, wherever they go. That is the hope for the world and that is what Swami is creating.
